2. One of the main things that will attract/address my
audience is the masthead, it is one of the main focal
points being quite large and bold, and the style of the
masthead goes with the ‘rock’ genre. The other
biggest attraction on the cover is the main picture, it is
a young girl dressed in a rock/indie way, she looks
quite rebellious and opinionated which makes her
stand out. She is also looking at the camera which
makes the readers feel important like they are being
spoke to directly because of the direct eye contact.
The model will attract the right target age because
she is around the same age and readers would want
to relate to her/look up to her.
On my front cover I have put an advertisement to win
tickets to the ‘Reading and Leeds’ festival, as my
magazine is aimed at music lovers, it is perfect to
