Project Initiation
• The City applied for and was awarded a Community Planning Grant from
the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission to study the Lorain Road
Corridor in Fairview Park
• Grant amount of $85,000 plus a $10,000 match from the City for a total
budget of $95,000.
• Project work began March 2023.

• Presented multiple development scenarios along the corridor to identify
the community’s preferred outcomes for future development.
• Reviewed general policy and programmatic recommendations for the
plan’s four key topic areas.

• Public Open House: 16 attendees with 82 sticker responses and 12 comments
• Key stakeholder focus group meeting
• Public Survey: 495 respondents
