1. Who would be the audience for your media
product?

2. The audience for my media product would be Females aged around 15-18 as these are the one who put the
most good feedback for my magazine and it was the audience i was aiming for when i was planning my
magazine so i am pleased about that outcome.
I would say its aimed at Females because i have done a contemporary feel within the magazine, from using
the orange colour adding a bit of Viberance and happiness within the magazine, and the font i used is simple
enough too read yet it is quite a girly type of font which also adds on too the female feeling of my media
product. Also on every picture i used within my magazine they was all of females, no male was involved
within this magazine it was all girly, fashionable photographs and language.
I would say that the age group 15-18 is a good age group to aim for as i don't know another magazine that
markets for that particular age group, they would be into things like new music and dancing and going out to
discos and partys wanting to wear the latest fashion and i believe with the look of my magazine that it would
make them want to buy it! It also looks quite fresh and new because of the house style especially on the
front cover, and the dominant image it a pretty and fashionable girl which would be recognised too them as
this is what they want to be like and look like; at that fashionable age. Also the font i used is the sort of font
that they would use when they are writing simply an email to someone etc as silly as it may sound, it
represents there personality to be fairly neat and make the whole page look clean and not messy.
I think the social group that my media product is aiming for would be the middle class girls, as just from
looking at the dominant image, that is what they would want to look like on a night out and it immediately
catches there attention. And the artists involved will also be there idols.
The ethnicity aim of my magazine would probably be for white British females as i have made my magazine
with that particular types of people, which will be a lot more easier for them to read as to someone with a
different ethnicity.
