Sensitive Themes In The Song Forbidden, By Todrick Hall
I chose to use Forbidden, by Todrick Hall because his music addresses sensitive topics, such as
racism, struggles with being gay, and self–acceptance. The song Forbidden is from his latest album
called Forbidden, which he has a YouTube channel where he created a video version of each song.
The videos and songs are about a society called Nacirema where being black and gay is the norm,
implying that it is a flip on our society. In the music video for Forbidden, the main characters are
encouraging the other refuges of love. They are singing and feeling a little defeated, but towards the
end everyone is feeling encouraged. The camera cuts to a few monitors, on them we can see that the
police have arrived with guns and riot shields. After the song

The Messenger by Markus Zusak
THE MESSENGER By Markus Zusak Setting the scene: Ed Kennedy is a 19–year–old cab driver
with no real respect for himself. He wishes he could be something greater, but feels there's no way
to accomplish this. He lives with a dog ('The Doorman') that "smells like death" in a shack owned
by his boss (CEO of 'Vacant Taxis'). Ed grew up in a less developed part of town and after
graduating from high school, went straight into the work force, having not applied himself
thoroughly enough to get into university. His mother, Bev, still lives in the house where Ed grew up,
and has developed a strong swearing habit, a bad temper, and a penchant for hating Ed. Ed's father
died about six months before the timeline of the story and was the one who passed on 'The
Doorman' to him. When not driving his cab, Ed spends most of the time playing cards with three
close friends of his – Audrey, Marv and Ritchie. Audrey is about the same age as Ed and is also a
cab driver. Marv is a stingy mate who owns a shitty car, and Ritchie is a quiet, lazy person who
occasionally makes perfectly timed wise cracks at Marv. Ed is totally in love with Audrey, but too
afraid to tell her so, as she is seeing another colleague of theirs and doesn't want to ruin their
friendship by admitting his feelings to her. Part One: The First Message The story opens with a bank
robbery where Ed, Marv, Audrey and Ritchie just so happen to be there at the time. Neither Ed nor
Marv take the gunman seriously. Ed just

Rhetorical Analysis Of Phoenix Wright 's ' The Night '
Objection! This signature catchphrase, yelled by protagonist Phoenix Wright, is well known in not
only Japan, where the Ace Attorney video game/ visual novel series is from, but also in America,
where the Ace Attorney series has a rather large cult following. This series follows Phoenix through
his journey as a defense attorney, as he protects the falsely accused and brings justice to criminals,
using evidence and logic, with a little bit of bluffing, rather than brute force. This much loved series,
with its fantastic writing that manages to combine ridiculousness and tragedy to create a humorous,
yet oftentimes touching stories, and some of the most complex and nuanced characters in video
gaming/visual novel history, has captured the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Our first message of Ace Attorney's gospel is that of the American Monomyth. The American
Monomyth is a common story theme in our culture, wherein the world, and the heroes within the
world are at peace, until a problem occurs that throws the world of the heroes into chaos. At this
point, the heroes rise up and defeat the problem, before fading back into obscurity as the world is
restored to its natural order. This can be seen in the Ace Attorney series, as the games are broken up
into individual cases in each game. Each case starts with the peaceful world being thrown into chaos
with a crime or murder being pinned on an innocent person, at which point, Phoenix and his partner,
Maya Fey, rise up and become "heroes" fighting to defend the wrongly accused and to find the real
culprit. Once the defendant is cleared and the culprit is behind bars, the world returns to its natural
order and Phoenix and crew fade back into obscurity, until the next case occurs and the cycle
repeats. This following of the American Monomyth raises a very important question about Phoenix,
the American Monomyth is often used in superhero stories, which raises the question: Is Phoenix
Wright a superhero?
Is Phoenix Wright a superhero? This is a question that the games raise multiple times, Phoenix
Wright is a morally righteous person, whose goal is to protect the innocent and bring justice to the
guilty. Like Batman, he uses his resources, in his case his logic and skill as a lawyer, to bring

Scavenger History
Throughout the history of time, different cultures have held the title of master navigators. During the
Han Dynasty, the Chinese invented the first compass, a device made out of lodestone – a naturally
magnetized metal – and a bronze plate. Then, Arab mariners perfected astrological sea–faring, using
the stars to guide themselves across the world's waterways. But the ancient world's true masters of
navigation were early Polynesians. While today's modern ships are covered in gadgets, this
civilization perfect a life on the water. Without maps, compasses, sextants or clocks, for thousands
of years they read the skies, waves, birds and wind to find their way between specks of land in the
vast Pacific. These observation–based traveling techniques ... Show more content on

Make a number sentence using all five cards and any operations to reach the target number. Write
and solve the equation at the bottom of the page pocket.
For example, suppose the target number is 20 and the cards in play are 5, 4, 6, 2, and Ace (in the
case making the Ace worth 1). One winning combination is: (5 x 2) + (4 + 6) / 1 = 20.
If a team is struggling to find a combination to hit the target number they can draw an additional
card from any deck and try to make a combination using six cards. This is a natural time to review
Order of Operations.
A common technique for remembering the order of operations is the acronym "PEMDAS", which is
turned into the phrase "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally". It stands for "Parentheses, Exponents,
Multiplication and Division, and Addition and Subtraction". Fraction Fun: Choose one more number
between 1–10 and pull five cards from the deck. Create fractions out of the first four cards that equal
a fraction formed out of the last two cards. Decide which cards to use as numerators and which
cards to use as denominators. Add, subtract, multiply or divide the fractions to create a true number

Advantages Of Star Model Of Evidence Based Practice
Introduction:
A model is a representation of concepts which are used to help people know, understand or simulate
a subject matter. Moreover, a model is used to create the various hypothesis which can be tested in
the laboratory or utilized for explaining a case study. The goal of this assignment is to explore three
models of evidence–based practice (EBP) that interest the authors and give a summary. Although
several models used in research, this paper will highlight three specific models and provide a
summary, strengths, weaknesses and a model that can be implemented in a particular practice.

The John Hopkins Nursing Evidence–Based Practice Model is a powerful problem–solving
approach to clinical decision making and is used in research. The model is designed to meet the
needs of the practicing bedside nurses and used a three step process called a PET, facilitating nurses
in translating evidence to clinical, administrative and education based on evidence. According to
Melnyk and Overholt (2015), there are three steps to the JHNEBP model. The first phrase is practice
questions: Identification of an EBP question and defines its scope. The second phrase is evidence of
internal and external evidence team determine if its feasibility to implement. The final phase is a
translation which includes recommended practice for changes and dissemination of findings.
ARCC Model of Evidence–Based Practice:
Compared and Contrast the three Models Strengths and Weaknesses:
Models are the conceptual framework that helps people to understand specific concepts. In
examining the three types of models, each presents a unique concept of understanding evidence–
based practice. The John Hopkins model integrates cultural values into evidence–based practice.
Furthermore, the main strength of this model is it provides a simple framework for nurses at the
bedside and incorporates internal and external factors that may affect research. On the other hand,

quicker via the IVP route because it is available to the bloodstream much quicker than with the oral
route, this will allow M.G. to start losing the excess fluid that is causing her unwanted symptoms. 5.
You administer furosemide (Lasix) 80mg IVP. Identify three parameters you would use to monitor
the effectiveness of this medication. The three parameters to check for effectiveness of the
furosemide would be: urine output, lung sounds (no crackles) and daily weights. 6. What laboratory

What is the First Message?
Ed, is a 19–year old bloke who lives on the outskirts of society without any plan for his future. He
drives a cab, lives in a small apartment, and strongly lacks communicational ties with the world.
After witnessing a hapless bank robbery and being represented in the newspaper as the town hero,
Ed receives something in the mail that will sooner or later change his life forever, an ace of
diamonds card. Ed is sent through this playing card to help the ones who addresses he encounters,
45 Edgar Street, 13 Harrison Avenue, and 6 Macedoni Street. The address of 45 Edgar Street leads
to something one could never imagine. Ed has come to overcome the hostility, and heal those who
are in need of his help. Although Ed does not understand how or why, he senses that he most
definitely has to help the problem in which he encountered: "How do people live like this? How do
they survive? And maybe that's why I'm here. What if they can't anymore?" (Zusak 43). For the
daughter and wife sake, Ed realizes he must remove the violence from their lives, with the constant
rape and beatings. 45 Edgar Street shows Ed the more evil parts of the world and how his home life
as a child was better than what these two innocent people go through every night, even when he
thought his couldn't be worse. With the help of the unknown message giver, Ed receives a gun. With
that gun, Ed then threatens the man and finally pulls the trigger. This was a trepidation for Ed, but

Partner with Nintendo to share cost and risk of redesign
4. Design the drive with "cheap and simple" in mind
The "HP Way" focuses on values that "emphasize integrity, respect for individuals, teamwork,
innovation, and an emphasis on customers and community improvement" (Dong, para. 2). The goals
of this project are in line with the goals of HP. These drives will be an innovative addition to the
market, and we will design them with an emphasis on customer and community improvement.
The initial Kittyhawk project did not go as planned, but we were able to discover the true market for
our product in the process. We need top management's support to continue this project. To help
mitigate the risks and investment costs, we have partnered with Nintendo. This partnership will not
only provide additional R&D resources, but will also supply a built–in large–scale customer for our
$50 drives.
We not only have the support of the gaming giant, Nintendo, but our project team is ready to tackle
this project. We are enthusiastic about the possibilities and we look forward to your support.
Scope
Objectives
The project that we are proposing is building a 1.3–inch drive with 40 MB that we will sell for $50
to the market. We intend to introduce this product in 12 months with a break–even time of 36
months.
In order to honor our company standards of being highly innovative with opportunity and potential
in the marketplace, we plan to go through with the project staying true to this.

Black Betty: Traced Back To The Revolutionary War

"Black Betty had a child" means that her child is a musket called the Brown Bess. "Darn thing gone

that the musket ball would hit a child and the shooter would not be responsible. When they say
"She's from birmingham" means that's where muskets were made for the colonials. Ben Franklin

Cult Classic Essay
What makes a film a cult classic? What makes a bunch of films belong to the same cult classic? I
found myself asking the same question a couple of days ago, only to to get bombarded by my own
memory of three distinct movies, which just 'happened' to have the same composer: Requiem For A
Dream, Moon and The Fountain. Coincidence? I think not.
These three films are as psychologically triggering as they're visually stunning. But the most
important aspect here is the accompanied music. The three main scores which were written by the
same person for three different movies that just happen to end up being huge cult classics.
First, let's talk about Requiem For a Dream: The whole story is about how addiction is more than
just self–medicating. Addiction, as a concept in the movie (and in reality) can be linked to virtually
any substance or activity human beings consume, the movie shows that in the most beautifully ...

As a movie, it is really hard to come to good terms with it, as one critic said "Its supporters admire
the film's beauty and daring; its detractors find it overblown and hokey". The film is, more or less,
an audiovisual version of Möbius strip, or if I may say, the poorer but still rich prequel of Cloud
Atlas. Whatever one might think about it, the score itself is Clint Mansell's best work, it moves right
along the film across time and space to be a multi–layered piece of astonishing creativity. The Last
Man is the main score, with its string–exclusive passive theme, the piece ascends us as the main
character ascends through the fabric of reality. Death is The Road to Awe, on the other hand, is not
as gloomy as one might guess from its title. It's been used in the crucial moment of when the
character discoverers his inability to do anything about...well, anything! Somehow, the piece makes
that scene a bit more emotionally tolerable as it gives it the integrity of being not sad, but sadly

Clinical Trials And Observational Studies
The efficacy of ACE–I has been widely evaluated in clinical trials and observational studies. In
1983, Captopril multicenter research group investigated the efficacy of Captopril in a 92 cohort with
heart failure refractory to digitalis and diuretic therapy. In this randomized, double blind trial, 50
patients were assigned to Captopril and 42 were assigned to placebo group. Over 2–week dosage
titration and 10–week evaluation period, the Captopril group revealed improvement in exercise
tolerance and specific symptoms of heart failure, including dyspnea, fatigue and orthopnea, and the
reduction of edema. Captopril therapy were concluded as an effect adjunctive treatment to digitalis
and diuretic drugs for patients with refractory heart failure. (14) Later on, other ACE–I, such as
Enalapril, were shown to be effective in treating patients with congestive heart failure, by reducing
left ventricular dimension, in randomized clinical studies.(15–17) The Heart Outcomes Prevention
Evaluation Study Investigators conducted a factorial study to evaluate the ACE–I, Ramipril, for
improving outcomes among patients with high risk for cardiovascular events, but without left

The Sustainability Of Pratt & Whitney Canada
In order to compete effectively in the current global economy, modern companies need to
successfully address three competitive challenges: technological, global and sustainability. Human
resource management practices play an important role in supporting companies to address these
competitive challenges. The focus of this paper is to analyze the current sustainability of Pratt &
Whitney Canada, and to determine which human resource management practices enhance their
competitive advantage both presently and in the future. Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) is an
aircraft engine manufacturer with global service operations and is a subsidiary of the American
company United Technologies Corporation (UTC). While many business segments utilize PWC
engines, the two primary sectors include civil and military aviation. With a workforce of
approximately 9,000 employees across seven Canadian plants, PWC has produced over 80,000
engines to date (PWC – New Hire, 2014). The impact of PWC's corporate presence on Canada's
economy is reflected in the fact that it contributes, on average, over $2 billion per year to the
country's gross domestic product (PWC – Economic Impact, 2014). PWC prides itself in being a
leader among leaders where, "[m]ore than 10,000 aircraft operators around the globe depend on

Informative Essay: Jim Carrey
With a face for all occasions, Jim Carrey is a fully fledged comic icon. Born in Canada before

Carrey has shined in more serious roles that have even seen him win a Golden Globe. So, to relive
those classic cinema seconds, here are 8 of Jim Carrey's most iconic movie moments.

Carrey's most famous roles to date. With a knack for starring alongside beautiful ladies, The Mask is
also famous for introducing the world to Cameron Diaz, who makes him look even more of a

Essay On Alicia Keys
Born Alicia Augello Cook on January 25, 1981, fathered by an African–American man and an
Italian–American woman. Alicia grew up in a tough neighborhood known as Hell's Kitchen located

poverty stricken. These bad times caused her mother and father to part ways. After the split, Alicia
was mainly raised by her mother Terri Augello. Terri worked most of Alicia's childhood as a
paralegal and a part–time actress (Kaufman,2004). Though Alicia did not see her father often, the
two always stayed on good terms with each other. Being raised in a single parent home was a
struggle for Keys and her mom.

The Importance Of Evidence Based Assessment
Review the care given and provide an evidence based critique of that care It is vitally important to
initiate accurate documentation and assessment when performing a patients' observation as this can
clearly prevent and identify acute poor health (Mulryan, 2011). On the other hand, an observation
assessment can to often be performed accurately and incorrectly (Mulryan, 2011). For that reason, a
nurse's ability, knowledge, competence and documentation are all paramount when assessing a
patient stability (Mulryan, 2011). On evaluating the care that was given to Sam, when being
assessed every four hours for vital signs, by nurses involved in her care. Firstly, Sam was on
medication for pain relief which was helping keep her pain free. As she stated when asked in the
PSA if she was in pain, Sam stated that she was not in any pain at the time. Evidence based practice
recommends that a nurse should give the patient regular analgesic and PRN analgesic when needed
(Park et al, 2016). Inadequately managed pain can lead to adverse physical and psychological
patient outcomes for individual patients and their families (Park et al, 2016). inadequate pain
management negatively affect the patient's welfare and the hospital performance because of
extended lengths of stay and readmissions, both of which increase the cost of care (Park et al, 2016).

Biochemical Mechanisms of ACE Inhibitors
The renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system (RAAS) is a group of hormones that are produced
sequentially in order to regulate salt–water homeostasis as well as blood pressure.5 The first
enzyme, renin, is produced by the juxtaglomerular cells of the kidney when blood volume is low and
is released into the bloodstream.3,5,6 Renin then catalyzes the conversion of angiotensinogen to
angiotensin I.3,5,6 Angiotensin–converting enzyme (ACE), which is produced in the lungs,
subsequently converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a more active enzyme.3,5,6 Angiotensin II has
several functions. The hormone's primary mechanism for increasing blood pressure is through the
stimulation of blood vessel constriction. Furthermore, angiotensin II increases the contractility of the
heart via sympathetic activation. It also stimulates anti–diuretic hormone (ADH) release, which
increases water reabsorption at the collecting ducts, resulting

while communicating, both verbally and in writing. Not being able to convey properly, ultimately
leads to failure in this profession. Effective communication is paramount when instructing athletes.
Better developing your talent and self–assurance to speak to individuals and large groups will
increase your ability to better coach, interview, and apply for the job you are striving for as a
strength coach. Universities are not going to hire somebody who cannot exemplify them well in the
public eye, or properly communicate when talking in a public form to athletes. Communication is a
skill that requires devoted practice and time. Another important aspect that strength coaches must

The Book Thief Analysis
The Messenger is a young adult novel by Australian writer Markus Zusak who also wrote The Book
Thief. Ed Kennedy is a very normal 19 year old; he has no major achievements and he works as a
cab driver. After he saves a bank full of people being robbed he starts receiving playing cards but
only aces with addresses and clues in the mail. As he figures more out about these card he start to
realize what he has to do to help the people in his community whether or not this hurts him. The
book was also written in a very interesting format. Markus Zusak wrote The Messenger with an
Australian tone to it meaning he used a lot of australian lingo which made it hard to understand what
is happening at some points in the book. For example on, Christmas Ed goes outside to and buys an
ice cream because it was really hot out. Things like this could be a bit confusing at times. There was
an adaptation of the book written in American English that was released in the U.S. The writing
style in this book had another interesting thing about it. In the middle of a line of dialogue, the
author would put a line of thought or something like that which could make it confusing at times but
it also made the story more interesting. Markus Zusak wrote this book in such an amazing way and
gave such a good message. I think that this book was really about not underestimating yourself and
the fact that you can be more than you think you are. In the beginning of the book Ed is described as

Case Study : A New Ace Ventura Online Slot Game
Blog 1 – Playtech unveils brand new Ace Ventura online slot game
Back in the 1990s cinema was in arguably in its most experimental phase, as plenty of new concepts
were green lit with the term "alternative" attached. It is this phase in history that allowed Jim Carrey
to become a Hollywood superstar, but Carrey didn't exactly make his name through traditional
projects. What he did was attach his name to "odd" acting vehicles such as Ace Ventura: Pet
Detective and ride them, all the way to the top. Speaking of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, it is this
film that has been dusted off to become inspiration for the latest Playtech online slots release.
All Jim Carey fans can rejoice, as Playtech hasn't just sealed the licence to release a Ace Venture
game, they have done so with great gusto in mind. Using every single aspect of the 1994 classic,
Ace Ventura is an eccentric a slot game, as you would expect. Ready for release at BetSafe, BGO,
SlotsMillion, Winner Casino, and Slots Heaven through both mobile and desktop platforms, Ace
Ventura is an "Alrighty" online slots game that is worth watching out for.
Detective Action
Ace Ventura is a movie that helped define the 1990s, largely as upon its release the studio didn't
really know what to expect. Thankfully for all involved it was a runaway smash hit that would go on
to gross over $100 million dollars at the box office. The film was so loved that it would go on to
spawn a sequel and an array of licensed products. The latest

Symbolism In The Ace Of Diamonds Gang
Ace of Diamonds Essay
In the short story 'The Ace of Diamonds Gang' by Owen Marshall, symbolism is used to get across
Introduction
the main ideas of the story. The two main symbols used in this story are the Ace of Diamonds to
signify anonymity and confederacy, and the library card which symbolizes a mundane reality.
In the story the Ace of Diamonds is something that the author and his friends use to show their gang.
A bit like a gang patch or gang colours. They wear hankies with red diamonds painted on them when
they do their pranks, and leave an Ace of Diamonds card at each of their 'crime scenes'. To the
members of The Ace of Diamonds Gang the Ace of Diamonds represents more than just a gang. It
represents a brotherhood, a confederacy, 'a clear exception to approved society'. These boys see
themselves as outlaws a bit like Robin Hood or Ned Kelly. This is apparent with the author in
particular. He saw the gang as an escape from being 'thirteen years old in a provincial town' which
shows that he saw his ordinary life as boring and uneventful. The gang gave him the opportunity to
'conjure heroism'. This shows that the author and his friends saw their actions as heroic and noble.
This is shown when he compares the gang to the heroes of history 'like the heroes of history it arose
when it needed to be there'. Another way the author try's to show the reader that the gang is special
is by using military language and imagery. He uses military language such as 'redezvous', 'frission',
and 'formation'. The author uses this language because he wants The Ace of Diamonds Gang to
seem efficient, lethal, and organised like the military. The military are also often seen as heroes who
have been extremely brave in dangerous situations. Like soldiers camouflaged in a forest or jungle
the author sees The Ace of Diamonds gang as very anonymous and hard to find. However instead of
putting on a uniform they are putting on diamond stamped masks. They compare themselves to such
heroes as the 'Fish Christians' 'Black Hand Jacobites, the Scarlet Pipernel'. This restates the ideals of
confederacy, anonymity, courage, elusiveness, and uniqueness of The Ace of Diamonds Gang that
the author holds. A good quote that sums up his

What Is Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitors?
Angiotensin–Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACE Inhibitors) are a group of drugs that belong to the
antihypertensive drug class. There are currently 10 ACE inhibitors that are available. ACE inhibitors
can be taken either by themselves or can be combined with a calcium channel blocker or a thiazide
diuretic to enhance the treatment This group of drugs is often used as a first line of treatment to treat
both heart failure and hypertension. Some of these drugs include; benazepril (Lotensin), captopril
(Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), and fosinopril (Monopril) (Lilley, p. 348). The medical diagnosis to

All ACE inhibitors cross the placenta (Vallerand, p 164), which can cause injury or death to a fetus
if taken while pregnant. Also if a patient has a baseline potassium level of 5 mEq/L, they may be
recommended not to take ACE inhibitors due to the risk of causing hyperkalemia(Lilley, p. 349).
ACE inhibitors should be used cautiously in those with any renal or hepatic impairment,
hypovolemia, or hyponatremia (Vallerand, p. 165). ACE inhibitors can cause excessive hypotension
when used with diuretics or other antihypertensive drugs. Also, they should be used cautiously when
taking potassium supplements. NSAID's can potentially block the antihypertensive effects of the
ACE inhibitor and should be avoided. Potential food interactions can occur due to food dramatically
decreasing the absorption of certain ACE inhibitors including captopril and meoxipril. These drugs
should be taken at least one hour before meals to ensure proper absorption (Vallerand, p. 165). Some
common side effects that are associated with taking ACE inhibitors include; nonproductive cough,
hypotension, taste disturbances, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting (Vallerand, p. 165)). Significant
effects they can have on the central nervous system include, headaches, mood and behavior changes,
fatigue and dizziness. More dangerous reactions include angioedema, hyperkalemia, and renal

Sensitive Themes In The Song Forbidden, By Todrick Hall

  • 1. Sensitive Themes In The Song Forbidden, By Todrick Hall I chose to use Forbidden, by Todrick Hall because his music addresses sensitive topics, such as racism, struggles with being gay, and self–acceptance. The song Forbidden is from his latest album called Forbidden, which he has a YouTube channel where he created a video version of each song. The videos and songs are about a society called Nacirema where being black and gay is the norm, implying that it is a flip on our society. In the music video for Forbidden, the main characters are encouraging the other refuges of love. They are singing and feeling a little defeated, but towards the end everyone is feeling encouraged. The camera cuts to a few monitors, on them we can see that the police have arrived with guns and riot shields. After the song ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. The Messenger by Markus Zusak THE MESSENGER By Markus Zusak Setting the scene: Ed Kennedy is a 19–year–old cab driver with no real respect for himself. He wishes he could be something greater, but feels there's no way to accomplish this. He lives with a dog ('The Doorman') that "smells like death" in a shack owned by his boss (CEO of 'Vacant Taxis'). Ed grew up in a less developed part of town and after graduating from high school, went straight into the work force, having not applied himself thoroughly enough to get into university. His mother, Bev, still lives in the house where Ed grew up, and has developed a strong swearing habit, a bad temper, and a penchant for hating Ed. Ed's father died about six months before the timeline of the story and was the one who passed on 'The Doorman' to him. When not driving his cab, Ed spends most of the time playing cards with three close friends of his – Audrey, Marv and Ritchie. Audrey is about the same age as Ed and is also a cab driver. Marv is a stingy mate who owns a shitty car, and Ritchie is a quiet, lazy person who occasionally makes perfectly timed wise cracks at Marv. Ed is totally in love with Audrey, but too afraid to tell her so, as she is seeing another colleague of theirs and doesn't want to ruin their friendship by admitting his feelings to her. Part One: The First Message The story opens with a bank robbery where Ed, Marv, Audrey and Ritchie just so happen to be there at the time. Neither Ed nor Marv take the gunman seriously. Ed just ... • 5. Rhetorical Analysis Of Phoenix Wright 's ' The Night ' Objection! This signature catchphrase, yelled by protagonist Phoenix Wright, is well known in not only Japan, where the Ace Attorney video game/ visual novel series is from, but also in America, where the Ace Attorney series has a rather large cult following. This series follows Phoenix through his journey as a defense attorney, as he protects the falsely accused and brings justice to criminals, using evidence and logic, with a little bit of bluffing, rather than brute force. This much loved series, with its fantastic writing that manages to combine ridiculousness and tragedy to create a humorous, yet oftentimes touching stories, and some of the most complex and nuanced characters in video gaming/visual novel history, has captured the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Our first message of Ace Attorney's gospel is that of the American Monomyth. The American Monomyth is a common story theme in our culture, wherein the world, and the heroes within the world are at peace, until a problem occurs that throws the world of the heroes into chaos. At this point, the heroes rise up and defeat the problem, before fading back into obscurity as the world is restored to its natural order. This can be seen in the Ace Attorney series, as the games are broken up into individual cases in each game. Each case starts with the peaceful world being thrown into chaos with a crime or murder being pinned on an innocent person, at which point, Phoenix and his partner, Maya Fey, rise up and become "heroes" fighting to defend the wrongly accused and to find the real culprit. Once the defendant is cleared and the culprit is behind bars, the world returns to its natural order and Phoenix and crew fade back into obscurity, until the next case occurs and the cycle repeats. This following of the American Monomyth raises a very important question about Phoenix, the American Monomyth is often used in superhero stories, which raises the question: Is Phoenix Wright a superhero? Is Phoenix Wright a superhero? This is a question that the games raise multiple times, Phoenix Wright is a morally righteous person, whose goal is to protect the innocent and bring justice to the guilty. Like Batman, he uses his resources, in his case his logic and skill as a lawyer, to bring ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Scavenger History Throughout the history of time, different cultures have held the title of master navigators. During the Han Dynasty, the Chinese invented the first compass, a device made out of lodestone – a naturally magnetized metal – and a bronze plate. Then, Arab mariners perfected astrological sea–faring, using the stars to guide themselves across the world's waterways. But the ancient world's true masters of navigation were early Polynesians. While today's modern ships are covered in gadgets, this civilization perfect a life on the water. He drives a cab, lives in a small apartment, and strongly lacks communicational ties with the world. After witnessing a hapless bank robbery and being represented in the newspaper as the town hero, Ed receives something in the mail that will sooner or later change his life forever, an ace of diamonds card. Ed is sent through this playing card to help the ones who addresses he encounters, 45 Edgar Street, 13 Harrison Avenue, and 6 Macedoni Street. The address of 45 Edgar Street leads to something one could never imagine. Ed has come to overcome the hostility, and heal those who are in need of his help. Although Ed does not understand how or why, he senses that he most definitely has to help the problem in which he encountered: "How do people live like this? How do they survive? And maybe that's why I'm here. What if they can't anymore?" (Zusak 43). For the daughter and wife sake, Ed realizes he must remove the violence from their lives, with the constant rape and beatings. 45 Edgar Street shows Ed the more evil parts of the world and how his home life as a child was better than what these two innocent people go through every night, even when he thought his couldn't be worse. • 28. Cult Classic Essay What makes a film a cult classic? What makes a bunch of films belong to the same cult classic? I found myself asking the same question a couple of days ago, only to to get bombarded by my own memory of three distinct movies, which just 'happened' to have the same composer: Requiem For A Dream, Moon and The Fountain. Coincidence? I think not. These three films are as psychologically triggering as they're visually stunning. But the most important aspect here is the accompanied music. The three main scores which were written by the same person for three different movies that just happen to end up being huge cult classics. First, let's talk about Requiem For a Dream: The whole story is about how addiction is more than just self–medicating. Addiction, as a concept in the movie (and in reality) can be linked to virtually any substance or activity human beings consume, the movie shows that in the most beautifully ... Whatever one might think about it, the score itself is Clint Mansell's best work, it moves right along the film across time and space to be a multi–layered piece of astonishing creativity. The Last Man is the main score, with its string–exclusive passive theme, the piece ascends us as the main character ascends through the fabric of reality. Death is The Road to Awe, on the other hand, is not as gloomy as one might guess from its title. It's been used in the crucial moment of when the character discoverers his inability to do anything about...well, anything! The Importance Of Evidence Based Assessment Review the care given and provide an evidence based critique of that care It is vitally important to initiate accurate documentation and assessment when performing a patients' observation as this can clearly prevent and identify acute poor health (Mulryan, 2011). On the other hand, an observation assessment can to often be performed accurately and incorrectly (Mulryan, 2011). • 64. Symbolism In The Ace Of Diamonds Gang Ace of Diamonds Essay In the short story 'The Ace of Diamonds Gang' by Owen Marshall, symbolism is used to get across Introduction the main ideas of the story. The two main symbols used in this story are the Ace of Diamonds to signify anonymity and confederacy, and the library card which symbolizes a mundane reality. In the story the Ace of Diamonds is something that the author and his friends use to show their gang. A bit like a gang patch or gang colours. They wear hankies with red diamonds painted on them when they do their pranks, and leave an Ace of Diamonds card at each of their 'crime scenes'. To the members of The Ace of Diamonds Gang the Ace of Diamonds represents more than just a gang. It represents a brotherhood, a confederacy, 'a clear exception to approved society'. These boys see themselves as outlaws a bit like Robin Hood or Ned Kelly. This is apparent with the author in particular. He saw the gang as an escape from being 'thirteen years old in a provincial town' which shows that he saw his ordinary life as boring and uneventful. The gang gave him the opportunity to 'conjure heroism'. This shows that the author and his friends saw their actions as heroic and noble. This is shown when he compares the gang to the heroes of history 'like the heroes of history it arose when it needed to be there'. Another way the author try's to show the reader that the gang is special is by using military language and imagery. He uses military language such as 'redezvous', 'frission', and 'formation'. The author uses this language because he wants The Ace of Diamonds Gang to seem efficient, lethal, and organised like the military. The military are also often seen as heroes who have been extremely brave in dangerous situations. Like soldiers camouflaged in a forest or jungle the author sees The Ace of Diamonds gang as very anonymous and hard to find. However instead of putting on a uniform they are putting on diamond stamped masks. They compare themselves to such heroes as the 'Fish Christians' 'Black Hand Jacobites, the Scarlet Pipernel'. This restates the ideals of confederacy, anonymity, courage, elusiveness, and uniqueness of The Ace of Diamonds Gang that the author holds. A good quote that sums up his ... Potential food interactions can occur due to food dramatically decreasing the absorption of certain ACE inhibitors including captopril and meoxipril. These drugs should be taken at least one hour before meals to ensure proper absorption (Vallerand, p. 165). Some common side effects that are associated with taking ACE inhibitors include; nonproductive cough, hypotension, taste disturbances, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting (Vallerand, p. 165)).
