Counter-Music Research Essay
Jimi Hendrix, A guitarist who played in the first Woodstock Festival in 1969, said "Music doesn't
lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music."
Woodstock is a music festival that many people attended, and the words said by Jimi Hendrix
represented the music sang by the artists at this festival detailing events all around the world, such as
the Vietnam War, and the Counterculture movement happening in the United States. John Antonelli
and his friends attended this festival in 1969 and the songs they heard at the festival influenced them
to bring ideas back to Fitchburg State College. This resulted into the Counterculture movement led
by John Antonelli and his friends to changed the campus community ... Show more content on

Music was a big thing in his life, and his roommate at the time of his stay in Fitchburg State
introduced him to several folk singers. He stated how folk songs during this time had a lot to say
about political matters, and said, "There was a very thin barrier ... between music and politics at that
point in time. That was the mechanism by which politics were getting expressed in that day" (John
Antonelli Interview Transcript, 3). Through music he was able to learn about the events that were
happening outside of campus, and he was able to learn the national issues that were occurring
throughout America. Antonelli and his friends were able to bring in music performers, Country Joe
and The Fish, to campus and exposed the " large unpoliticized student body" of the social political
issues happening in the United States with Country Joe's Vietnam Rag song. Many students were
influenced by musical guest performers Antonelli and his friends were able to bring to campus to
perform and joined the Counterculture movement that was happening on campus. As mentioned
before, Antonelli and his friends were able to attend the Woodstock Festival. Antonelli would write
an article on the first issue of the college's newspaper on Woodstock and what he learn from there
about the cultural and political issues from the songs they heard such as the Vietnam War and
student rights on campus. The newspaper caught some attention to the student body and joined the

Robespierre and the Reign of Terror
Twenty thousand to forty thousand died; it is still unknown exactly how many people were lost
through the blood drenching event of the Reign of Terror.[Footnote] Throughout the French
revolution, specifically the eleven month, 1793–1794 Reign of Terror, revolutionary leaders, such as
Maximilien Robespierre believed in enforcing fear to resolve the instability of France. "Terror is
nothing else than swift, severe, indomitable justice; it flows, then, from virtue"–Maximilien
Robespierre.[Footnote] This period in history signified great atrocities of massacres, and a time
where fear was evoked within every French civilian. The National Convention of France was a great
factor in encouraging the start of the Reign of Terror; they continued on ... Show more content on

It was also believed that Danton had turned against the revolution. Danton was tried and executed,
leaving Robespierre with more power than ever before. He was now the sole leader of the Reign of
Terror; it was blatantly obvious he was the most feared man in all of France.
Robespierre was the main person to implement the laws he put forth.[Footnote] He believed in
solving all his problems through violence. Those who were born to a particular family, having
certain opinions, or simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time, would fall victim to him.
Although Robespierre was obsessed with violence, he never actually performed acts himself, unless
assured he would succeed, he'd have other people to do his work for him. The most common device
used to punish people was the guillotine. Robespierre used other methods at times; he'd burn, hack,
stab, shoot, and even cannonade a person. Those he objected, or had been his enemy would soon be
imprisoned, and eventually executed. He was relentless and ordered people dead with no trial,
killing people without proving or even knowing if they were truly "guilty". He believed the mass
murders he was responsible for were justified.
If the spring of popular government in time of peace is virtue, the springs of popular government in
revolution are at once virtue and terror: virtue, without which terror is fatal;

A Psychology Of Rumor Summary
Nicholas DiFonzo explains, "rumors are unverified bits of information". Rumors are imprinted on
everyday life and are something all individual deal with. However, one must wonder, why do they
start and what causes them to spread so violently? Various articles and experiments may have the
answers to these common questions. In fact, research has shown that rumors disperse out of
response to fear and are mostly spread by word of mouth.
A psychologist during World War II, wrote an article to explain the categorization and identification
of these speculations. In the article "A Psychology of Rumor" author Robert H. Knapp explains that
"rumor is but a special case of informal social communications, including myth, legend, and current
humor" (496). He speaks of three different types of assumptions. The pipe–dream rumor expresses
optimism, the bogie rumor is derived from fear, and the wedge–driving aggression rumor's
motivation is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clark agrees with both Goleman and Knapp in the terms of rumors satisfying our emotional needs.
He furthers this idea by explaining that anxiety creates unstable thinking that results in the creation
of rumors. Clark says "the more collective anxiety a group has, the more inclined it will be to start
up the rumor mill". However, he believes that all assumptions that stick are simple and easy to
understand. This statement is flawed due to the fact that most public rumors are complex and only
understandable when broken down to simplest form. The author supposes that public speculations
are a direct result of individual's envy towards another person. On the contrary, the point of rumor's
are to understand in the middle of confusion, therefore, if the rumor has to do with a popular
individual or not is

Bilingual Education Report
As a middle school ESL teacher in one of the states which has legally mandated the pedagogically
questionable supported English immersion (SEI) as the preferred manner of instruction for English
language learners, I have not yet been persuaded by those who insist that the elimination of bilingual
education has been a disaster. I concede that my perspective is impacted by having seen the results
of perhaps an uncommonly low–quality bilingual program in my own district. When I first started
teaching in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 2006, the middle school students who had been in a district
dual language program were shockingly lower in their English proficiency than the students who
had attended elementary schools with predominately English ... Show more content on

The 1980s also saw the rise of a number of organizations which promoted the exclusive use of
English in American public life and schools. The research support for this backlash seems to have
rested primarily on reviews of previous program evaluations conducted by Baker and de Kanter
(1981, 1983), with more than 90% of the previous studies being excluded because Baker and de
Kanter deemed them methodologically unsound. However, their analysis was rapidly contested by
critics who felt that had these researchers properly accounted for variables across the studies, the
results from the meta–analysis would instead have demonstrated small to moderate differences
supporting bilingual education (Nieto, 2009).
The tide turned again with the 1994 Clinton Administration reauthorization of the Bilingual
Education act, also known as the Improving America's Schools Act, which promoted bilingual
education for the first time not just to help immigrants learn English, but also as way to develop the
human capital of the nation and promote American competitiveness in the global economy. The
result of this extension was the expansion of developmental bilingual education, which included
"two–way" bilingual programs serving both mainstream and language–minority students (Nieto,

Freud Defense Mechanisms
Sigmund Freud: Defense Mechanisms Sigmund Freud was a psychoanalytic theorist and practitioner
who strongly emphasized the unconscious processes and biological drives that guide our behavior.
He asserted that instincts are the propelling forces of our personality, and that they originate in the id
(the unconscious part of our personality that works on the pleasure principle, and is a reservoir of
our instincts and libido). In addition to the id, we have the ego (the conscious, rational side of our
personality that works on the reality principle) and the superego (the largely unconscious, moral side
of our personality that contains our conscience). In addition to conceptualizing five psychosexual
stages that cover childhood and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I use this defense mechanism relatively often. For example, I'm a very irritable person. Therefore, I
get angry at people often. The other day, I was in an argument with my brother and we were both
becoming very frustrated. Rather than giving into my id impulse, which was to hit my brother, I
sublimated that impulse into something else – exercise. Instead of fighting my brother, I decided to
go to the gym. Alfred Adler: Striving for Superiority and Fictional Finalism Alfred Adler was a
psychological theorist who placed much emphasis on the uniqueness of each individual.
Consequently, he disagreed with Freud, especially regarding Freuds idea of the universality of
biological motives in every person. Adler proposed that inferiority is a function of the environment,
and that it is the normal condition of all people. Furthermore, he asserted that inferiority is the
source for human striving, because people compensate for feelings of inferiority by striving for
higher levels of development. In other words, we strive for superiority, and we have a strong will to
work towards perfection or completion. Additionally, Adler asserted that people have an imagined or
potential goal that guides our behavior, which he called fictional finalism. I feel as though my
behavior is guided by striving for superiority, and by fictional finalism. I strive for superiority on a
daily basis, in most aspects of my life. First, I

Life Care Center Of West Bridgewater
One of the many things that attracted me to nursing was the variety of positions a nurse can be
employed in. Personally, I have a few positions that I am thinking of applying to once I finish the
program and pass the NCLEX–PN. The very first place I will apply to is the facility I work in, the
Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. It is a skilled nursing home and rehabilitation center that is
divided into long and short term floors. There, I can grow and gain experience as an LPN,
particularly on the short–term floor named Nantucket. I would continue to work there per diem on
the weekends, in hopes of getting my dream job working full time at a doctor's office in either
women's health or pediatrics. My desired shift for Life Care would be ... Show more content on

There are many Life Cares' in the area and even more throughout the country! Additionally, I am
thinking of applying to Fitchburg State University to their LPN–BSN program.Since there is a Life
Care in Fitchburg, working there while going to FSU would be appropriate. I would simply have to
do an internal transfer from the Life Care in West Bridgewater to the one in Fitchburg. I could work
nights 11–7 part–time and go to class afterwards. Being that it is a three year program, I would like
to get this done as soon as possible. I plan to take classes throughout my winter and summer breaks.
I would like to work all throughout my time during the program. After I am done and take the
NCLEX–RN, my goal is to be working in hospice. Five years from now, my dream is to have gotten
my BSN and work as a hospice nurse. With the experience that I would have gained during those
five years working in long term care, I would teach as a nursing professor. Even though I would
eventually need a master's in education, teaching students that love nursing as much as I do sounds
interesting. With the nursing shortage at it's all time high, it's important for new, incoming nurses to
have dedicated and caring professors. I consider myself lucky to have been accepted into a program
that offers just that. Being a professor would be my way of "giving back" of what has been given to
me. On the contrary, I have had my fair share of bad experiences with nursing professors.

Anatomy Of A Rumor Daniel Goleman
Psychologist Daniel Goleman explains in his article "Anatomy of a Rumor: It Flies on Fear" that
anxiety is the driving factor for the spread of rumors, and that people who fall victim to them should
use contrary evidence to disprove the rumor.
There are too many examples of rumors to list, but Goleman selects a few to demonstrate the ample
variety in which rumors come. Goleman explains that "rumors are a kind of opportunistic
information virus" (487), which spread because of the anxiety they evoke in people. Rumors hold
some level of emotional value and can help people feel more in control of an otherwise tumultuous
situation. It is common to want an answer to something unknown, and rumors can offer a proposed
explanation. The most quickly spread rumor is the one containing content that is cause for concern,
because sharing the rumor can be comforting to the one repeating it. The emotional importance of a
rumor separates it from regular gossip and causes it to be spread more expeditiously. ... Show more

Beyond interviews, researchers can derive a false rumor in order to determine how different types of
rumors are spread, and to determine the demographic spreading those different rumors. The
language of the designed rumor is very specific, as both denotation and connotation are critical
components of how the rumor will be taken and spread. Referring back to the notion that rumors are
flared and sustained by anxiety, Dr. Rosnow, a psychologist at Temple University, found that the
likelihood of someone spreading a rumor directly correlated with the likelihood of that person
falling victim to the rumor. If a woman hears a rumor about something that could not conceivably
happen to her, she is much less likely to repeat that rumor than if it were about something that could
easily happen to

The Life and Times of Sir Isaac Newton Essay
Sir Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643 (based on the Gregorian calendar) in Woolsthorpe,
Lincolnshire, England. Growing up, he was never really close to his parents because his biological
father died three months before he was born. Then, his mother remarried and left him to be raised by
his grandparents. It was not until 1661, when Newton started studying at Cambridge University, that
Newton took an interest in math and science. Then, in 1665, Newton was forced to go home because
of an epidemic outbreak. During his time away from school, Newton started studying optics, math,
and gravity. In addition, he started to create Calculus. Newton was allowed to return to Cambridge
in 1667, and in 1669, he became a math professor. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A few scientists who lived just before Newton's life were Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei,
Robert Hooke. Copernicus discovered the heliocentric theory. This idea was revolutionary because
before his theory, people believed that the sun revolved around the earth (geocentric theory).
However, Copernicus presented the theory that the earth revolved around the sun (heliocentric
theory). Another scientist, Galileo Galilei, created the first telescope. Thus, with his new invention,
he was able to see the Milky Way, features of the Moon, and Jupiter's moons. While observing
Jupiter's moons, he saw that the moons orbited around Jupiter, not earth. With this new information,
he was able to disprove the geocentric theory because Jupiter's moons did not orbit around Earth,
but rather Jupiter. Galileo also found that everything fell at the same speed. He tested this theory by
dropping two balls (one heavier and one lighter) off of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They both hit the
ground at the same time ("Astronomy and Space for Kids"). In addition, Galileo proposed the idea
of inertia ("The Scientific Revolution"). Robert Hooke was another notable scientist of that time.
Hooke created the law of elasticity. This law states that, "the stretching of a solid body (e.g., metal,
wood) is proportional to the force applied to it" (The Editors of Encyclopædia Britannica). Hooke
also invented the Gregorian reflecting telescope. Through this invention

My Life Of My Family
I come from a place where people are determined. Determined to surpass the difficult times,
determined to make their families proud, determined just to live. Where I 'm from people could
hardly manage to balance buying food and paying for rent. People walked to school, to the grocery
store, and to work because not everyone could afford to have and maintain a car. Kids grew up with
one parent or none at all. I had both of my parents, a roof over my head, and food on the table. So I
was one of the lucky ones. Except things aren't always as simple as they seem. The people around
me weren 't the only ones who faced difficult situations. Growing up the way I did broke me down
and built me back up repeatedly, but because my problems never seemed to compare to others and
everyone was struggling with something in their own way, I learned to keep them to myself.
My family moved to Fitchburg right before I was going to kindergarten. When we first moved here,
we lived in a dangerous neighborhood so my parents wouldn't allow me to associate with the kids on
my street. This resulted in me spending a lot of time alone because I was an only child. My mom
had a job a few towns away and my dad found work in the next town over. They worked opposite
shifts so seeing the two of them together was not a common occurrence. For these reasons, it was
incredibly exciting for me as a child when the three of us would venture out to visit a family friend.
It was my mom's closest friend, Rob, who lived

A Biomechanical Analysis of the Roundhouse Kick
Anatomical Analysis
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean, unarmed martial art and is best known for its kicks (Park, 2001). The
roundhouse kick is a turning kick and happens to be the most commonly used kick during
competition (Lee, 1996). For this reason, the roundhouse kick will be analyzed in reference to
sparring competition. The roundhouse kick, a multiplanar skill, starts with the kicking leg traveling
in an arc towards the front with the knee in a chambered position (Pearson, 1997). The knee is
extended in a snapping movement, striking the opponent with the top of the foot. One's goal would
be to make front torso contact with the kick, while avoiding leaving one's self open to a counter
strike. The movements that comprise the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

However, because the primary goal is to achieve optimum velocity, optimum momentum is obtained
through angular impulse. The series of movements before contact with the target attempts a kinetic
chain with an efficient sequence of movements previously noted in the description of the
preparatory phase (Champion, 2002). The internal muscles move first, such as the serape and spinal
flexors and rotators, out to the Gluteus maximus, to the Rectus femoris, transferring the large body
movements from the trunk to the smaller body segments of the foot. If the movements are timed
correctly, one will have maximum speed upon reaching the next movement, until the point of
application (Champion, 2002).
Another valuable aspect to consider is drag, which is a resistance force slowing down the motion of
the leg and foot through the fluid medium, air (Hall, 1999). The most relevant form of drag here is
surface drag, where the size of one's leg and the increased surface area created by the traditional
uniform, in addition to its texture play prominent roles in decreasing the velocity of the kick.
Once the kick has been executed, impact must be taken into account. The result of the impact of
one's foot with the opponent's front

Thoreau's House Near Walden Analysis
The location of Thoreau's house near walden pond is detailed revealing its location is near the
Fitchburg Railroad. The locomotive is perceived as disruptive, as it interrupts his state of serenity in
nature with its loud noise making him irritated. THerefore, the railroad symbolizes the departure
from a simplistic, spiritual life connected with nature and the transition to a an industrial America.
Thoreau has previously criticized the industrial revolution for its technological innovation that

When paying cash on the bus, a single ride for adults is $1.50; for those who qualify for reduced

Children under 5 are always free. When using a Charlie Card, adult fare drops to 1.20 and reduced

At work during the pre–shift meeting we get reminded or quizzed on the evacuation routes, what to
do in the event of an emergency, where to go, and what to tell our guests. I can remember in
elementary school, we were evacuated due to a French fry getting stuck in the fryer too long and it
caused a whole lot of smoke in the cafeteria. It could have been a whole lot more serious, but
thankfully it was not. It is important to evacuate in all situations because you never know what could
actually be going on until it could be too late. During the Seton Hall fire back in 2000, due to the
smoke it was almost impossible for some students to evacuate. That is a scary thing, and it really
demonstrates why evacuation drills are so important because they familiarize occupants with the

Women And Domestic Marriage In The Victorian Period
The Victorian Period was the era of British Monarch; Queen Victoria, in this era women had
extremely limited right's. Women were not giving the choice to vote, sue or own any property. In
addition to that, they lost ownership of their wages, all of their physical belongings, and every other
cash they were able to generate once they were married. In fact, once women got married they
legally became property to their husbands, giving them 'ownership' over their body. Meaning that
they had the right to use their wives body for: children, any sexual activity and/or domestic labor.
Therefore, their mutual matrimonial consent became a contract of women giving themselves to their
husband's as they desired. Under the law, a husband and wife became one ... Show more content on

The majority of women in that period did not have the option to decide whether they wanted to get
married or not, it was a necessity in order to survive. Once these women were married it was
extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get divorced. Husbands could be having affairs with other
women, or abusing their wives, and still divorce was considered a social taboo. As a matter of fact,
many authors from this era used to address social issues, like the degradation of wives, in their
writing. Most of the authors that wrote pro–feminist books, novels and/or articles were females, yet
there were a few male authors like: George Gissing, George Meredith and Grant Allen, who also
started writing about women's issues and their struggles.
"The Odd Woman" a novel by; George Gissing, talks about the roles of women in society such as
marriage, morals and the early feminist movement in the Victorian Period. Most middle class
women during the Victorian era, married by the time they were 25, but the ideal age for a woman to
commit was 20. The novel's title is derived from women in that era whom were left out after all
other eligible men and women were paired up in marriage. In the novel, it can be inferred that their

Robert Cormier Research Paper
When one thinks of notable authors that have left a lasting legacy in the literary world, they think of
writers such as William Shakespeare, Mark Twain and Stephen King. Robert Cormier isn't the first
name to come to mind. In fact, one may not even know who he is. But yet he is considered by many
who are familiar with his work to be "one of the most important American writers for young adults".
Cormier's ride through what we consider today the Contemporary Period, shaped his writing and led
to his contributions as a young adult author that would redefine the genre with his dark and realistic
portrayal of society. Robert Cormier was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on January 17, 1925 to

Organizational Control
Organizational control is the systematic process through which managers regulate organizational
activities to make them consistent with expectations established in plans, targets and standards of
performance (Kuratko, 2001). These organizational expectations are a collection of goals and
accountabilities represented in the budget, which help establish performance metrics, document
actual performances, allow comparison between the estimated and actual performance, and allow for
corrective actions (Jones–George–Hill, 2003). Measures of financial performance are those ratios
against which actual performance can be meaningfully measured against the expectations of the
budget. These measures are objective measures of performance, and a ... Show more content on

There are enough assets to pay short–term claims, but the stock performance lags the S&P by almost
2/3 – raising the question in my mind if they have too much non–performing assets on hand which
need to be reevaluated. The quick ratio answers the question of whether an organization can pay
claims without selling inventory. Inventory is not necessarily worth the amount represented on the
books, and removing it from this calculation gives a better view of whether or not an organization
has liquid assets available. If a company has too much of its liquidity tied up in inventory, it will be
dependent on selling that inventory to finance its operations and will have a low quick ratio (Motley
Fool). Leverage ratios measure the use of debt or equity to finance operations, with the use of debt
becoming problematic if profits cannot cover the interest on the debt (Jones–George–Hill, 2003).
Two common such ratios are debt–to–assets ratio and times–covered ratio. Debt to assets shows to
what extent the organization is financed with debt, with a lower number being more favorable. With
a low number, an organization and its investors can be more confident a company can weather
difficult times. Real Networks, as discussed earlier, has a debt to equity ratio close to zero, largely
because there is close to no debt – this is a company which can weather some difficult times,
however while the debt remains low, the equity is decreasing as well

Registered Nurse: A Case Study
Donna is a registered nurse in the emergency room at Clinton Hospital. She actually went to West
Boylston for high school and so did her kids. When she was fifteen she worked as a candy striper at
Memorial where she wore a pink dress and pushed a cart with magazines and other stuff on it
through the hospital and into the patients' rooms for them. They don't do that anymore due to HIPPA
but my mom said she used to do it too. Donna then went on to become a CNA (certified nurses aid)
at Oakdale for three years. She told me the woman who worked there was very caring and good at
what she did. She would make all the meals homemade and gave the place a "homey" feel. The
woman had liked Donna a lot and ended up giving her a small scholarship for college. This boosted
her confidence since someone believed in her. Donna told me she didn't have a very good ... Show

My Best Friend is Dead Essay
My Best Friend is Dead
I first met Chipper Gleason when I was 5 or 6, when my mother was working with Chipper's mother
Sue teaching music lessons in town. The He– Man connection must have been what initially tipped
our parents off that we would be good friends. I remember my mom asking me if I wanted to play
with this kid who had Castle Greyskull, a large green molded castle that He– Man lived inside of
with the other Masters of the Universe. The answer was, of course, "Yes!" and we met one afternoon
while both my mom and Sue taught lessons at the Church.
We played that first afternoon on the sloping hill in front of the church, on the opposite side of Main

I could not see Chipper every day, in part because he lived the next town over. But whenever I could
convince my parents to drive me, we were off, down the long hill out of town to the west in the
family car, over the river in West Groton, and along the winding, rising and falling road to his house
that always seemed to drag on forever.
Chipper's house, on Squannacook Road in Shirley, was a place that was both fascinating and at
times repulsive. The small, white, New England farmhouse was crowded up to the side of the road,
with almost no space between the front door and the street. It always seemed to sneak up on me as
we came around the last curve in the car, as if I had been waiting and waiting and then all of a
sudden, there it was.
The house made up for its tiny front yard with an expansive back yard that wrapped around the back
of the house. Beyond the mowed back yard a large unkempt field stretched back to a line of trees in
the distance. My favorite part of his yard was a big old willow tree that sent protective, fuzzy– green
branches down to the lawn.
When we pulled into his house, we usually parked at the top of a short gravel driveway that led to a
large single car garage, the first garage that I had ever seen. The back of the garage was converted
into a dog pen for two large, noisy wolfhounds that I seldom saw but

Marketing Plan The difference between wild and commercial blueberries and the possibility to
choose which type of blueberries customer wants in one place is what separates this farm from
others and will be the main point of marketing. The farm is serving local costumers and local forms
of promotions will be used. Permanent sigh will be placed by the road, and yard sighs will be placed
through the community during harvest time. The farm will establish its presence on social media and
will use posts to inform farm supporters about new development, opening hours, beginning of the
harvest season and where our blueberries can be purchased. Social media will also be used to
advertise to local community. Blueberries when ready for picking will be priced similarly like on
others blueberry farms in the region. For pick your own blueberries the price will be same for both
wild and commercial berries, for blueberries already picked, the price for wild blueberries will be
slightly higher, which will account for smaller berries and longer picking time.
Operations and Development Plan The first (small) crop of blueberries can be expected the fourth
year of the operation. The Planting Protocol and Maintenance Protocol will be followed to establish

Bransford Schema
Abstract
In this experiment we replicated a study done by Bransford and Johnson (1972). They conducted
research on memory using schemas. All human beings possess categorical rules or scripts that they
use to interpret the world. New information is processed according to how it fits into these rules,
called schemas. Bransford and Johnson did research on memory for text passages that had been well
comprehended or poorly comprehended. Their major finding was that memory was superior for
passages that were made easy to comprehend. For our experiment we used two different groups of
students. We gave them different titles and read them a passage with the intentions of finding out
how many ideas they were able to recall. Since our first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In completing this experiment all the students received a small amount of extra credit points toward
their course.
Procedure
The experiment was conducted as follows; first the experimenters greeted the participants and
handed out consent forms to each individual along with a blank piece of paper. After all the consent
forms were signed, one experimenter collected them. Then the experimenter wrote on the board
either the specific title (doing laundry), or the non–specific title (a simple procedure). The titles
remained on the board for five seconds, and then were erased. At that point they were then asked to
listen to a passage:
The procedure is actually quite simple. First you arrange things into different groups. Of course, one
pile may be sufficient depending on how much there is to do. If you have to go somewhere else due
to lack of facilities that is the next step; otherwise you are pretty well set. It is important not to
overdo things. That is, it is better to do too few things at once than too many. In the short run this
may not seem important but complications can easily arise. A mistake can be expensive as well. At
first the whole procedure will seem complicated. Soon, however, it will become just another fact of
life. It is difficult to foresee any end to the necessity for this task in the immediate future, but then
one can never tell. After the procedure is completed one arranges the materials into different groups
again. Then they

The reason the scientific managers are said to have opposed the demand for shorter hours was
because worktime reform tends to unite workers: Taylor's ideal of a "high–priced man", set apart
from his fellows by the desire for premium pay, translated easily into managerial practice regarding
wages. Cuts in hours, in contrast, would have had to influence whole departments, producing the
kind of group feeling that was anathema to Taylor[3, pp. 136–7]. Journal of Management History
Vol. 1 No. 2, 1995, pp. 8–25. © MCB University Press, 1355–252X Finally, Roediger asserts that
Taylor had little concern with worker physiology and that the scientific managers denied that the
psychology of individual workers played a complex part in the determination of how hard they
laboured. Rather, it is claimed, Taylorism relied on mechanics, deskilling, isolation and wage
incentives to induce workers to labour at the prescribed pace: Thus Taylorism undercut the older
rationales for securing cooperation from a healthy workforce through reduction in hours. The
standard guidebook of the Taylorists, published in 1911, featured a daily time clock, calibrated to
the hundredth of an hour. It was a ten–hour clock[3, p. 137]. Indicative of the ease with which many
analysts accept that they can vilify the scientific management movement, Roediger does not offer
any evidence

Pupil Rights Amendment
In our new world of technology, substance abuse, mental health, and sexual practices are being

the law provides the rights of parents and student that governs sensitive topics that are being

Social Media And Its Effect On Society Essay
In 1997, the first social media site broke the surface of the internet world. Six Degrees allowed its
users to create their own personal profile and make new friends online. The first blogger sites arose
in 1999, creating an almost instant sensation. The popularity of social media exploded. Between
2000 and 2006, a handful of new social networks–MySpace, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and
Twitter–were created that enabled users to communicate and share with other people across large
distances (Hendricks). With the advancement in technology, social media has allowed people to

to connect students and teachers. Although there are some disadvantages, the benefits of social
media outweigh them in every respect.
From the beginning of social media, people have never been able to connect in the way they can

Thoreau Technology
As you see, over the years the world has glowed up. The past may have seemed poor, but because of
them we have better inventions in our society today. (Or that's what some of us think.)They were the
inventors, we experienced their moments. We have the ability to expand the technologies/inventions
by making them better. With a little knowledge and creativity people have expanded what it is today.
The biggest thing that we use now days is "technologies." Everywhere you go, everywhere you'll
see, it's most commonly used by many people from all over the world. Technologies has helped us in

As so he thinks that we need to be on Nature's time instead of rushing it. Thoreau says,"If one
advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has
imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." He is basically saying that we
should slow down by giving ourselves some space to think about our values and where it's taking us.
I do agree with him on this one. My reason is because, now days we do stick our noses in our cell
phones. We get lured into it more and more as we use them. The messaging and the calling distracts
us from the old fashion way. I loved the past when they would speak to each other face to face 24/7.
The messaging took place of the old fashioned hand written letters. If we focus too much on the
New advanced technologies, I do think that we will become distracted on what the past has brung
us. He says,"Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious
things. They are but improved means to an unimproved end, an end which it was already but too
easy to arrive at." I don't think technologies are toys because, they do come in handy most of the
time. One thing they do is distract us. You rarely see kids playing outside anymore because they're

Wrongful Convictions And Its Effect On Society
Introduction Many of us are familiar with historical films such as "The Shawshank Redemption",
but the reality is that wrongful convictions have occurred throughout history and although less
frequently, still occur today. A wrongful conviction can greatly impact an individual's life and may
continue to be an issue even after exoneration. Many people are under the impression that
individuals who are wrongfully convicted and later exonerated have won the battle over the justice
system, however this is rarely the case. Exonerees experience great amounts of hardship once
released back into society. There are flaws in the justice system, which make it extremely difficult
for exonerees to experience true freedom. Wrongful convictions occur not only in the United States,
but also across the entire globe. It is a serious injustice when an innocent person is forced to
experience life as a convicted felon. Causes of Wrongful Convictions "Although numerous cases of
wrongful convictions have been documented in the literature and in the media, criminologists have
yet to devise a methodology for estimating the extent of such errors in the criminal justice system."
(Poveda, 2001) Since DNA testing has been utilized in the justice system, wrongful convictions
have become less frequent and exoneration rates have increased. "There are many factors involved
when consider the causes of wrongful convictions. Eyewitness misidentification is a leading cause
for wrongful convictions." (Innocence

of 15 years. In Abel's own words, he said, "I served my country, in 1778, in Rhode Island, for a

December 15, 1785, Abel married Susannah Bryant in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. She was

Counter-Music Research Essay

  • 1. Counter-Music Research Essay Jimi Hendrix, A guitarist who played in the first Woodstock Festival in 1969, said "Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music." Woodstock is a music festival that many people attended, and the words said by Jimi Hendrix represented the music sang by the artists at this festival detailing events all around the world, such as the Vietnam War, and the Counterculture movement happening in the United States. John Antonelli and his friends attended this festival in 1969 and the songs they heard at the festival influenced them to bring ideas back to Fitchburg State College. This resulted into the Counterculture movement led by John Antonelli and his friends to changed the campus community ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Music was a big thing in his life, and his roommate at the time of his stay in Fitchburg State introduced him to several folk singers. He stated how folk songs during this time had a lot to say about political matters, and said, "There was a very thin barrier ... between music and politics at that point in time. That was the mechanism by which politics were getting expressed in that day" (John Antonelli Interview Transcript, 3). Through music he was able to learn about the events that were happening outside of campus, and he was able to learn the national issues that were occurring throughout America. Antonelli and his friends were able to bring in music performers, Country Joe and The Fish, to campus and exposed the " large unpoliticized student body" of the social political issues happening in the United States with Country Joe's Vietnam Rag song. Many students were influenced by musical guest performers Antonelli and his friends were able to bring to campus to perform and joined the Counterculture movement that was happening on campus. As mentioned before, Antonelli and his friends were able to attend the Woodstock Festival. Antonelli would write an article on the first issue of the college's newspaper on Woodstock and what he learn from there about the cultural and political issues from the songs they heard such as the Vietnam War and student rights on campus. • 3. Robespierre and the Reign of Terror Twenty thousand to forty thousand died; it is still unknown exactly how many people were lost through the blood drenching event of the Reign of Terror.[Footnote] Throughout the French revolution, specifically the eleven month, 1793–1794 Reign of Terror, revolutionary leaders, such as Maximilien Robespierre believed in enforcing fear to resolve the instability of France. "Terror is nothing else than swift, severe, indomitable justice; it flows, then, from virtue"–Maximilien Robespierre.[Footnote] This period in history signified great atrocities of massacres, and a time where fear was evoked within every French civilian. The National Convention of France was a great factor in encouraging the start of the Reign of Terror; they continued on ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was also believed that Danton had turned against the revolution. Danton was tried and executed, leaving Robespierre with more power than ever before. He was now the sole leader of the Reign of Terror; it was blatantly obvious he was the most feared man in all of France. Robespierre was the main person to implement the laws he put forth.[Footnote] He believed in solving all his problems through violence. Those who were born to a particular family, having certain opinions, or simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time, would fall victim to him. Although Robespierre was obsessed with violence, he never actually performed acts himself, unless assured he would succeed, he'd have other people to do his work for him. The most common device used to punish people was the guillotine. Robespierre used other methods at times; he'd burn, hack, stab, shoot, and even cannonade a person. Those he objected, or had been his enemy would soon be imprisoned, and eventually executed. He was relentless and ordered people dead with no trial, killing people without proving or even knowing if they were truly "guilty". He believed the mass murders he was responsible for were justified. If the spring of popular government in time of peace is virtue, the springs of popular government in revolution are at once virtue and terror: virtue, without which terror is fatal; ... • 5. A Psychology Of Rumor Summary Nicholas DiFonzo explains, "rumors are unverified bits of information". Rumors are imprinted on everyday life and are something all individual deal with. However, one must wonder, why do they start and what causes them to spread so violently? Various articles and experiments may have the answers to these common questions. In fact, research has shown that rumors disperse out of response to fear and are mostly spread by word of mouth. A psychologist during World War II, wrote an article to explain the categorization and identification of these speculations. In the article "A Psychology of Rumor" author Robert H. Knapp explains that "rumor is but a special case of informal social communications, including myth, legend, and current humor" (496). He speaks of three different types of assumptions. The pipe–dream rumor expresses optimism, the bogie rumor is derived from fear, and the wedge–driving aggression rumor's motivation is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Clark agrees with both Goleman and Knapp in the terms of rumors satisfying our emotional needs. He furthers this idea by explaining that anxiety creates unstable thinking that results in the creation of rumors. Clark says "the more collective anxiety a group has, the more inclined it will be to start up the rumor mill". However, he believes that all assumptions that stick are simple and easy to understand. This statement is flawed due to the fact that most public rumors are complex and only understandable when broken down to simplest form. The author supposes that public speculations are a direct result of individual's envy towards another person. On the contrary, the point of rumor's are to understand in the middle of confusion, therefore, if the rumor has to do with a popular individual or not is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Bilingual Education Report As a middle school ESL teacher in one of the states which has legally mandated the pedagogically questionable supported English immersion (SEI) as the preferred manner of instruction for English language learners, I have not yet been persuaded by those who insist that the elimination of bilingual education has been a disaster. I concede that my perspective is impacted by having seen the results of perhaps an uncommonly low–quality bilingual program in my own district. When I first started teaching in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 2006, the middle school students who had been in a district dual language program were shockingly lower in their English proficiency than the students who had attended elementary schools with predominately English ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The 1980s also saw the rise of a number of organizations which promoted the exclusive use of English in American public life and schools. The research support for this backlash seems to have rested primarily on reviews of previous program evaluations conducted by Baker and de Kanter (1981, 1983), with more than 90% of the previous studies being excluded because Baker and de Kanter deemed them methodologically unsound. However, their analysis was rapidly contested by critics who felt that had these researchers properly accounted for variables across the studies, the results from the meta–analysis would instead have demonstrated small to moderate differences supporting bilingual education (Nieto, 2009). The tide turned again with the 1994 Clinton Administration reauthorization of the Bilingual Education act, also known as the Improving America's Schools Act, which promoted bilingual education for the first time not just to help immigrants learn English, but also as way to develop the human capital of the nation and promote American competitiveness in the global economy. The result of this extension was the expansion of developmental bilingual education, which included "two–way" bilingual programs serving both mainstream and language–minority students (Nieto, ... Freud Defense Mechanisms Sigmund Freud: Defense Mechanisms Sigmund Freud was a psychoanalytic theorist and practitioner who strongly emphasized the unconscious processes and biological drives that guide our behavior. He asserted that instincts are the propelling forces of our personality, and that they originate in the id (the unconscious part of our personality that works on the pleasure principle, and is a reservoir of our instincts and libido). In addition to the id, we have the ego (the conscious, rational side of our personality that works on the reality principle) and the superego (the largely unconscious, moral side of our personality that contains our conscience). Alfred Adler: Striving for Superiority and Fictional Finalism Alfred Adler was a psychological theorist who placed much emphasis on the uniqueness of each individual. Consequently, he disagreed with Freud, especially regarding Freuds idea of the universality of biological motives in every person. Adler proposed that inferiority is a function of the environment, and that it is the normal condition of all people. Furthermore, he asserted that inferiority is the source for human striving, because people compensate for feelings of inferiority by striving for higher levels of development. In other words, we strive for superiority, and we have a strong will to work towards perfection or completion. Additionally, Adler asserted that people have an imagined or potential goal that guides our behavior, which he called fictional finalism. Personally, I have a few positions that I am thinking of applying to once I finish the program and pass the NCLEX–PN. The very first place I will apply to is the facility I work in, the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. It is a skilled nursing home and rehabilitation center that is divided into long and short term floors. There, I can grow and gain experience as an LPN, particularly on the short–term floor named Nantucket. I would simply have to do an internal transfer from the Life Care in West Bridgewater to the one in Fitchburg. I could work nights 11–7 part–time and go to class afterwards. Being that it is a three year program, I would like to get this done as soon as possible. I plan to take classes throughout my winter and summer breaks. I would like to work all throughout my time during the program. After I am done and take the NCLEX–RN, my goal is to be working in hospice. Five years from now, my dream is to have gotten my BSN and work as a hospice nurse. With the experience that I would have gained during those five years working in long term care, I would teach as a nursing professor. Even though I would eventually need a master's in education, teaching students that love nursing as much as I do sounds interesting. With the nursing shortage at it's all time high, it's important for new, incoming nurses to have dedicated and caring professors. Anatomy Of A Rumor Daniel Goleman Psychologist Daniel Goleman explains in his article "Anatomy of a Rumor: It Flies on Fear" that anxiety is the driving factor for the spread of rumors, and that people who fall victim to them should use contrary evidence to disprove the rumor. There are too many examples of rumors to list, but Goleman selects a few to demonstrate the ample variety in which rumors come. Goleman explains that "rumors are a kind of opportunistic information virus" (487), which spread because of the anxiety they evoke in people. Rumors hold some level of emotional value and can help people feel more in control of an otherwise tumultuous situation. It is common to want an answer to something unknown, and rumors can offer a proposed explanation. The most quickly spread rumor is the one containing content that is cause for concern, because sharing the rumor can be comforting to the one repeating it. The emotional importance of a rumor separates it from regular gossip and causes it to be spread more expeditiously. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Referring back to the notion that rumors are flared and sustained by anxiety, Dr. Rosnow, a psychologist at Temple University, found that the likelihood of someone spreading a rumor directly correlated with the likelihood of that person falling victim to the rumor. Growing up, he was never really close to his parents because his biological father died three months before he was born. Then, his mother remarried and left him to be raised by his grandparents. It was not until 1661, when Newton started studying at Cambridge University, that Newton took an interest in math and science. Then, in 1665, Newton was forced to go home because of an epidemic outbreak. During his time away from school, Newton started studying optics, math, and gravity. A few scientists who lived just before Newton's life were Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Robert Hooke. Copernicus discovered the heliocentric theory. This idea was revolutionary because before his theory, people believed that the sun revolved around the earth (geocentric theory). However, Copernicus presented the theory that the earth revolved around the sun (heliocentric theory). Another scientist, Galileo Galilei, created the first telescope. Thus, with his new invention, he was able to see the Milky Way, features of the Moon, and Jupiter's moons. While observing Jupiter's moons, he saw that the moons orbited around Jupiter, not earth. With this new information, he was able to disprove the geocentric theory because Jupiter's moons did not orbit around Earth, but rather Jupiter. Galileo also found that everything fell at the same speed. He tested this theory by dropping two balls (one heavier and one lighter) off of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They both hit the ground at the same time ("Astronomy and Space for Kids"). In addition, Galileo proposed the idea of inertia ("The Scientific Revolution"). Robert Hooke was another notable scientist of that time. Hooke created the law of elasticity. Where I 'm from people could hardly manage to balance buying food and paying for rent. People walked to school, to the grocery store, and to work because not everyone could afford to have and maintain a car. Kids grew up with one parent or none at all. I had both of my parents, a roof over my head, and food on the table. So I was one of the lucky ones. Except things aren't always as simple as they seem. The people around me weren 't the only ones who faced difficult situations. Growing up the way I did broke me down and built me back up repeatedly, but because my problems never seemed to compare to others and everyone was struggling with something in their own way, I learned to keep them to myself. My family moved to Fitchburg right before I was going to kindergarten. When we first moved here, we lived in a dangerous neighborhood so my parents wouldn't allow me to associate with the kids on my street. The roundhouse kick is a turning kick and happens to be the most commonly used kick during competition (Lee, 1996). For this reason, the roundhouse kick will be analyzed in reference to sparring competition. The roundhouse kick, a multiplanar skill, starts with the kicking leg traveling in an arc towards the front with the knee in a chambered position (Pearson, 1997). The knee is extended in a snapping movement, striking the opponent with the top of the foot. One's goal would be to make front torso contact with the kick, while avoiding leaving one's self open to a counter strike. The movements that comprise the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... H=mk2z However, because the primary goal is to achieve optimum velocity, optimum momentum is obtained through angular impulse. The series of movements before contact with the target attempts a kinetic chain with an efficient sequence of movements previously noted in the description of the preparatory phase (Champion, 2002). The internal muscles move first, such as the serape and spinal flexors and rotators, out to the Gluteus maximus, to the Rectus femoris, transferring the large body movements from the trunk to the smaller body segments of the foot. If the movements are timed correctly, one will have maximum speed upon reaching the next movement, until the point of application (Champion, 2002). Another valuable aspect to consider is drag, which is a resistance force slowing down the motion of the leg and foot through the fluid medium, air (Hall, 1999). The most relevant form of drag here is surface drag, where the size of one's leg and the increased surface area created by the traditional uniform, in addition to its texture play prominent roles in decreasing the velocity of the kick. Once the kick has been executed, impact must be taken into account. The result of the impact of one's foot with the opponent's front ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These organizational expectations are a collection of goals and accountabilities represented in the budget, which help establish performance metrics, document actual performances, allow comparison between the estimated and actual performance, and allow for corrective actions (Jones–George–Hill, 2003). The quick ratio answers the question of whether an organization can pay claims without selling inventory. Inventory is not necessarily worth the amount represented on the books, and removing it from this calculation gives a better view of whether or not an organization has liquid assets available. If a company has too much of its liquidity tied up in inventory, it will be dependent on selling that inventory to finance its operations and will have a low quick ratio (Motley Fool). Leverage ratios measure the use of debt or equity to finance operations, with the use of debt becoming problematic if profits cannot cover the interest on the debt (Jones–George–Hill, 2003). Two common such ratios are debt–to–assets ratio and times–covered ratio. Debt to assets shows to what extent the organization is financed with debt, with a lower number being more favorable. With a low number, an organization and its investors can be more confident a company can weather difficult times. The He– Man connection must have been what initially tipped our parents off that we would be good friends. I remember my mom asking me if I wanted to play with this kid who had Castle Greyskull, a large green molded castle that He– Man lived inside of with the other Masters of the Universe. The answer was, of course, "Yes!" and we met one afternoon while both my mom and Sue taught lessons at the Church. We played that first afternoon on the sloping hill in front of the church, on the opposite side of Main Street from the library. Chipper was a small, wirey boy with bright ... But whenever I could convince my parents to drive me, we were off, down the long hill out of town to the west in the family car, over the river in West Groton, and along the winding, rising and falling road to his house that always seemed to drag on forever. Chipper's house, on Squannacook Road in Shirley, was a place that was both fascinating and at times repulsive. The small, white, New England farmhouse was crowded up to the side of the road, with almost no space between the front door and the street. It always seemed to sneak up on me as we came around the last curve in the car, as if I had been waiting and waiting and then all of a sudden, there it was. The house made up for its tiny front yard with an expansive back yard that wrapped around the back of the house. Beyond the mowed back yard a large unkempt field stretched back to a line of trees in the distance. My favorite part of his yard was a big old willow tree that sent protective, fuzzy– green branches down to the lawn. When we pulled into his house, we usually parked at the top of a short gravel driveway that led to a large single car garage, the first garage that I had ever seen. All human beings possess categorical rules or scripts that they use to interpret the world. New information is processed according to how it fits into these rules, called schemas. Bransford and Johnson did research on memory for text passages that had been well comprehended or poorly comprehended. Their major finding was that memory was superior for passages that were made easy to comprehend. For our experiment we used two different groups of students. We gave them different titles and read them a passage with the intentions of finding out how many ideas they were able to recall. Since our first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In completing this experiment all the students received a small amount of extra credit points toward their course. Procedure The experiment was conducted as follows; first the experimenters greeted the participants and handed out consent forms to each individual along with a blank piece of paper. After all the consent forms were signed, one experimenter collected them. Then the experimenter wrote on the board either the specific title (doing laundry), or the non–specific title (a simple procedure). The titles remained on the board for five seconds, and then were erased. At that point they were then asked to listen to a passage: The procedure is actually quite simple. First you arrange things into different groups. Of course, one pile may be sufficient depending on how much there is to do. If you have to go somewhere else due to lack of facilities that is the next step; otherwise you are pretty well set. It is important not to overdo things. That is, it is better to do too few things at once than too many. In the short run this may not seem important but complications can easily arise. A mistake can be expensive as well. At first the whole procedure will seem complicated. Soon, however, it will become just another fact of life. It is difficult to foresee any end to the necessity for this task in the immediate future, but then one can never tell. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The reason the scientific managers are said to have opposed the demand for shorter hours was because worktime reform tends to unite workers: Taylor's ideal of a "high–priced man", set apart from his fellows by the desire for premium pay, translated easily into managerial practice regarding wages. Cuts in hours, in contrast, would have had to influence whole departments, producing the kind of group feeling that was anathema to Taylor[3, pp. 136–7]. Journal of Management History Vol. 1 No. 2, 1995, pp. 8–25. © MCB University Press, 1355–252X Finally, Roediger asserts that Taylor had little concern with worker physiology and that the scientific managers denied that the psychology of individual workers played a complex part in the determination of how hard they laboured. Rather, it is claimed, Taylorism relied on mechanics, deskilling, isolation and wage incentives to induce workers to labour at the prescribed pace: Thus Taylorism undercut the older rationales for securing cooperation from a healthy workforce through reduction in hours. The standard guidebook of the Taylorists, published in 1911, featured a daily time clock, calibrated to the hundredth of an hour. It was a ten–hour clock[3, p. 137]. Although there are some disadvantages, the benefits of social media outweigh them in every respect. From the beginning of social media, people have never been able to connect in the way they can now. Seventy–five percent of all internet users use social media. This means around two billion people are accessing social media sites today, and an estimated 2.5 billion in 2018 ("Percentage"). With a little knowledge and creativity people have expanded what it is today. The biggest thing that we use now days is "technologies." Everywhere you go, everywhere you'll see, it's most commonly used by many people from all over the world. Technologies has helped us in variety of ways. About 83% of the whole U.S use technologies. I loved the past when they would speak to each other face to face 24/7. The messaging took place of the old fashioned hand written letters. They are but improved means to an unimproved end, an end which it was already but too easy to arrive at." I don't think technologies are toys because, they do come in handy most of the time. Wrongful Convictions And Its Effect On Society Introduction Many of us are familiar with historical films such as "The Shawshank Redemption", but the reality is that wrongful convictions have occurred throughout history and although less frequently, still occur today. A wrongful conviction can greatly impact an individual's life and may continue to be an issue even after exoneration. Many people are under the impression that individuals who are wrongfully convicted and later exonerated have won the battle over the justice system, however this is rarely the case. Exonerees experience great amounts of hardship once released back into society. There are flaws in the justice system, which make it extremely difficult for exonerees to experience true freedom. Wrongful convictions occur not only in the United States, but also across the entire globe. It is a serious injustice when an innocent person is forced to experience life as a convicted felon. Causes of Wrongful Convictions "Although numerous cases of wrongful convictions have been documented in the literature and in the media, criminologists have yet to devise a methodology for estimating the extent of such errors in the criminal justice system." (Poveda, 2001) Since DNA testing has been utilized in the justice system, wrongful convictions have become less frequent and exoneration rates have increased. To save the companies' future he put in action three alternatives. Firstly, he focused on the the whole reconstruction of the biggest problem in company, the production process, such as control of inventory process, but many other things had to be reconstructed in order to achieve these goals such as new inventory process, products with the bigger quality, better functionality of processing, and usage of the plant had to be more organized. Secondly, the company would have to hire an affordable supplier of their radar detectors, which will improve the relationship with company and external suppliers, usage of the both plants and lower price. The third alternative and the last one was closing the doors of both plant, and making a big change on the production district by moving the whole production process to an off–shore location, that would not be easy to apply, but it would crucially decrease the cost of production process.
