2. Park
The uneven ground may present us with an issue that we could slip on
a hole in the ground whilst walking. It also could create difficulty when
trying to balance the tripod so we can film without the footage being
wonky or shaken. Also, if the tripod were to fall it would cause a great
deal of damage to the camera and tripod. A final hazard that we may
be faced with is when we sit on the swings, we could catch our fingers
in the metal or we could of missed the swing and fell onto the ground.
To avoid this, we will try and stay clear of the worse parts of the
grounds surface and make sure we check for any obstructions before
actually filming.

3. ROAD
Risk of filming on the road could include cars driving up and down. As we will be
walking on part of the actual road, it means we will have to make sure there is no sign
of any cars coming from either way before we filmed so that we didn’t get hit and so
that the filming doesn’t get distracted. Another risk could be that the
cinematographers were stood in the road to get the best angles.
To prevent this from happening, we will try to wait for a less busy time during the day
and made sure the roads were clear before we filmed.
People that would be effected:
Sabrina
Georgia
Rosie
Leanne
4. Waiting
Room
The waiting room scene may not present us with any physical
hazards but we will take the risk of having background noise
whilst we film. As this is going to be filmed in an area
surrounded by people working, there was likely to be chatter
noises that could ruin our footage.
To try and prevent this as much as we can, we will shut all the
doors with people inside and warn them that we are filming
and ask them politely to keep this noise down.
People this could effect:
The film crew
The actors
The final product if the sound was muffled.
5. Office
Similar to the waiting room, the Office we will be using, wont allow us
to be confronted by any physical hazards or risks. The main issue we
may be faced with here was again the fact we may have voices in the
background that could be heard in the footage and therefore would
again result in bad filming and we would have to re-film.
To prevent this front happening, we will place a note on the office door
we use to highlight the fact it is in use and silence will be appreciated.
As a complete must, we will ensure that the door will be shut and so
will the top windows. We will also pull down the door blind so no-one
could look in and distract anyone.
People that could be effected:
The Cinematographers
The actors
The film footage.
6. Georgia’s
House
With this location, we may not again be faced with any physical
hazards. The issue we will have with this location is going to be the
acoustics. Meaning, that the dialogue could be lost in the space and
therefore not clear enough to the camera and causing a loss of effect
the speech could have on the trailer.
To prevent this, we will try to bring the camera as close to the actors
without being right in their faces, and still showing the amount of
scenery we want to be displayed.
People this could effect:
The actors
The final product
7. Car
Scene
Physical hazards we may be faced with include the fact it will be parked on a road. This meant
that we will have to be careful and aware of the moving vehicles that could be driving past as
Leanne’s character opens the door to storm out of the car to walk across the road. Also, the
cinematographer may be standing behind the car blocking someone’s driveway. This meant not
only will we have to make sure the car we will be in doesn’t roll back, but also that the person
living there doesn’t want access to their driveway whilst we will be filming.
To prevent this from happening, we will have to make sure the timing was right so before we film
the part of Leanne storming out and crossing the road, we will have to make sure that there will
be no cars coming so that the built up tension between the characters wont be lost between the
pause of waiting for cars to pass. To make sure the cinematographers don’t get hit by a rolling car,
we will make sure the handbrake will be on and the car wont be in gear. We also had to hope that
whilst we film, the owners of the driveway we may block, didn’t want to get in as there may be
no way for us to prevent this.
