2. Park
The uneven ground presented us with an issue that we could slip on a
hole in the ground whilst walking. It also created difficulty when trying
to balance the tripod so we could film without the footage being
wonky or shaken. Also, if the tripod were to fall it would cause a great
deal of damage to the camera and tripod. A final hazard that we faced
was when we sat on the swings, we could of caught our fingers in the
metal or we could of missed the swing and fell onto the ground.
To avoid this, we will try and stay clear of the worse parts of the
grounds surface and make sure we check for any obstructions before
actually filming.

3. ROAD
Risk of filming on the road include cars driving up and down. As we were walking on
part of the actual road, it meant we had to make sure there was no sign of any cars
coming from either way before we filmed so that we didn’t get hit and so that the
filming wasn’t distracted. Another risk was that the cinematographers were stood in
the road to get the best angles.
To prevent this from happening, we tried to wait for a less busy time during the day
and made sure the roads were clear before we filmed.

4. Waiting
Room
The waiting room scene presented us with no physically hazards but
we did take the risk of having background noise whilst we were
filming. As this was filmed in an area surrounded by people working,
there was likely to be chatter noises that could of ruined our footage.
However, we were lucky enough that this didn’t happen.
To try and prevent this as much as we could, we shut all the doors with
people inside and warned them that we were filming and asked them
politely to keep this noise down.

5. Office
Similar to the waiting room, the Office we used didn’t allow us to be
confronted by any physical hazards or risks. The main issue we faced
here was again the fact we may have voices in the background that
could be heard in the footage and therefore would again result in bad
filming and we would have to re-film.
To prevent this front happening, we placed a note on the office door
we were using to highlight the fact it was in use and silence was
appreciated. As a complete must, we ensured that the door was shut
and the top windows were closed. We also pulled down the door blind
so no-one could look in and distract anyone.

6. Georgia’s
House
With this location, we were not again faced with any physical hazards.
The issue we had with this location was the acoustics. Meaning, that
the dialogue could have been lost in the space and therefore not clear
enough to the camera and causing a loss of effect the speech could
have on the trailer.
To prevent this, we tried to bring the camera as close to the actors
without being right in their faces, and still showing the amount of
scenery we wanted to be displayed.

7. Car
Scene
Physical hazards we were faced included the fact it was parked on a road. This meant that we had
to be careful and aware of the moving vehicles that could be driving past as Leanne’s character
opens the door to storm out of the car and walks across the road. Also, the cinematographer was
standing behind the car blocking someone’s driveway. This meant not only did we have to make
sure the car we were in didn’t roll back, but also that the person living there didn’t want access to
their driveway whilst we were filming.
To prevent this from happening, we had to make sure the timing was right so before we filmed
the part of me storming out and crossing the road, we had to make sure that there was no cars
coming so that the built up tension between the characters wasn’t lost between the pause of
waiting for cars to pass. To make sure the cinematographers didn’t get hit by a rolling car, we
made sure the handbrake was on and the car wasn’t in gear. We also had to hope that whilst we
were filming the owners of the driveway we blocked, didn’t want to get in as there was no way
we could prevent that.
