The document outlines various risks and hazards associated with filming a music video in the drama studio, along with contingency plans. Owen risks falling off the stage as his character OJ the DJ interacts with the audience, so he must be careful and not stand too close to the edge. The lights could malfunction, so they need testing before use. Leaving items on the floor could cause tripping hazards in the dark room. Having too many actors could result in people pushing into each other due to a lack of space. The camera on a tripod risks falling on the director's feet if not securely attached. Umut and Kaan risk accidentally hitting each other with lightsabers during their scene. Contingency plans include first aid
After posting our first script, we have done a lot of planning and researching and have finally produced a final script. This will be used when we film our music video, and it should be extremely useful as it will be a guide for us when filming and selecting shots.

Richard Dyer's star theory is focused entirely around how 'stars' are made for the public. It is split into three main sections. Audiences and institutions, Constitutions and Cultures.
Here is an example of the props we plan to use in our music video. These are not identical representations of what we will be using, but do offer an idea of what we will try and base our final props on.
Here is an example of the type of costumes we would like to use in our music video for Nikki J's The Way You Do. These are not photo representative but give an idea of the sort of thing we are planning to use.

thGAP - BAbyss in Moderno!! Transgenic Human Germline Alternatives ProjectMarc Dusseiller Dusjagr
thGAP - Transgenic Human Germline Alternatives Project, presents an evening of input lectures, discussions and a performative workshop on artistic interventions for future scenarios of human genetic and inheritable modifications.
To begin our lecturers, Marc Dusseiller aka "dusjagr" and Rodrigo Martin Iglesias, will give an overview of their transdisciplinary practices, including the history of hackteria, a global network for sharing knowledge to involve artists in hands-on and Do-It-With-Others (DIWO) working with the lifesciences, and reflections on future scenarios from the 8-bit computer games of the 80ies to current real-world endeavous of genetically modifiying the human species.
We will then follow up with discussions and hands-on experiments on working with embryos, ovums, gametes, genetic materials from code to slime, in a creative and playful workshop setup, where all paticipant can collaborate on artistic interventions into the germline of a post-human future.
1. Risk Assessment
Location:
Drama Studio
Risk/Hazard What can be done
to preventit?
Who is in danger? Howhigh is
the risk?
Contingencyplan
Owen as OJ the
DJ,could fall off
the stage
Ensure that
Owen is careful
when interacting
with the
audience, and
also by making
sure that he
doesn’t stand too
close to the edge
of the stage.
OJ the DJ (Owen) Medium If this does happen
make sure there is
medical assistance
available e.g. a first
aid bag. For the
purpose of the music
video we should also
make sure someone
is available to
replace him so it
doesn’t stop the
filming process.
Lights
malfunctioning
We need to
ensure all of the
lights are tested
before we use
them and that
they are fully
working
Everyone Medium If this does happen
we need to make
sure a teacher is
nearby so they can
assist everyone and
get them to a safe
place.
Tripping Hazard
due to dark room
We need to make
sure the room is
organised when
filming, this
means putting
everything in the
correctplace and
not leaving
things on the
floorwhen we
are filming or
planning with the
lights off.
Everyone Low If this happens then
we need to ensure
the person is cared
for to help them with
any injuries they
might have, this
means using the first
aid bag to assists
them withany cuts
or bruises they
might get from
tripping over.
2. People pushing
into each other
due to a lack of
space
We need to make
sure we have a
limit on how
many people we
are using as
actors in our
music video, this
number should
be where
everyone feels
comfortable
dancing and has
enough personal
space to move
around freely.
Actors whoare
dancing
Low If this does happen
we need to politely
apologise to the
actor and make them
feel ensured that it
won’t happen again,
this way they will
continue to be a part
of our music video.
We also need to
ensure the first aid
bag is close by so we
can treat any injuries
the actor might gain
from this hazard.
Camera might fall
off the tripod and
drop on the
directors feet
Ensure it is fully
attached to the
tripod before use
The person
holding the
camera
Low In case this happens
a backup plan would
be to use a dolly
whichwill carry and
transport the camera
throughout scenes.
Xut and Kaan-z
(Umut and Kaan)
will be using
lightsabers so
they could hit
each other
accidently
We can prevent
this by making
sure they are
cautious whilst
we are filming
this scene, as
well as
explaining to
them not to be
immature and
silly while using
them.
Umut and Kaan Low If this does happen
we willcontinue to
film as long as the
twoactors are not
injured, and are
confident in
continuing withthe
same scene.
