This is the risk assessment for our music video that we will produce for our A2 Media Course

1. Risk Assessment

DJ,could fall off
the stage
Ensure that
Owen is careful
when interacting
with the
audience, and
also by making
sure that he
doesn’t stand too
close to the edge
of the stage.

medical assistance
available e.g. a first
aid bag. For the
purpose of the music
video we should also
make sure someone
is available to
replace him so it
doesn’t stop the
filming process.
Lights
malfunctioning
We need to
ensure all of the
lights are tested
before we use
them and that
they are fully
working

we need to make
sure a teacher is
nearby so they can
assist everyone and
get them to a safe
place.
Tripping Hazard
due to dark room
We need to make
sure the room is
organised when
filming, this
means putting
everything in the
correctplace and
not leaving
things on the
floorwhen we
are filming or
planning with the
lights off.

we need to ensure
the person is cared
for to help them with
any injuries they
might have, this
means using the first
aid bag to assists
them withany cuts
or bruises they
might get from
tripping over.

2. People pushing
into each other
due to a lack of
space
We need to make
sure we have a
limit on how
many people we
are using as
actors in our
music video, this
number should
be where
everyone feels
comfortable
dancing and has
enough personal
space to move
around freely.

Low If this does happen
we need to politely
apologise to the
actor and make them
feel ensured that it
won’t happen again,
this way they will
continue to be a part
of our music video.
We also need to
ensure the first aid
bag is close by so we
can treat any injuries
the actor might gain
from this hazard.
Camera might fall
off the tripod and
drop on the
directors feet
Ensure it is fully
attached to the
tripod before use
The person
holding the
camera
Low In case this happens
a backup plan would
be to use a dolly
whichwill carry and
transport the camera
throughout scenes.
Xut and Kaan-z
(Umut and Kaan)
will be using
lightsabers so
they could hit
each other
accidently
We can prevent
this by making
sure they are
cautious whilst
we are filming
this scene, as
well as
explaining to
them not to be
immature and
silly while using
them.
