This document summarizes potential hazards and risk levels associated with filming a music video. It identifies hazards such as falling from stacked stages, dropping or breaking equipment while transporting it, car accidents while traveling to the filming location, actors falling off bikes or into a lake, dog bites, stinging nettles, and climbing a tree. For each hazard, it evaluates the risk level before and after implementing control measures, such as securing stages, distributing equipment among group members, requiring seatbelts and minimizing distractions for drivers, scouting flat filming areas free of hazards, taking dogs straight home after filming, avoiding stinging nettles, and providing support for the actor climbing the tree.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

CONTROL MEASURES
(REDUCING THE RISK)
Fallingof the stage – We are planningto film in
the drama hall for close upshotswitha moving
image (gif) background inordertoget different
seasons/imageswhichare more relatableto
certainlinesof the lyrics.
Thisis a hazard as we have stackedtwostages
on topof each other. These stageshave sturdy
basesbutas we are positioningbothactorson
the stage there is a hazard thatthere may not be
enoughroomwhichmay make someone fall off
by accident.
Medium Low In orderto control thisparticularhazard we have
made sure that the stage isfullysecuredandis
sturdyenoughto positionbothof ouractors on.In
orderto helpthemgetup/off the stage we will
offerthema handgettingdown.Thiswill prevent
themfalling/trippingwhengettingoff astheywill
have the membersof our groupto leanon.
Dropping/breakinganyequipment –Whilst
carryingthe equipmenttobothThorndonand to
the drama hall. There isa potential hazardwhich
couldarise if we accidentlydropor breaka piece
of equipment.Thiscouldbe done isthe
equipmentisnotdistributedbetweenmembers
enoughwhichasa resultmayleadtosomeone
not beingable tocarry all of the equipmentas
we are planningtouse several piecesof
equipment,rangingfromatripodto a LED light
and lightumbrella.
Medium Low In orderto control this potential hazardIwill make
sure that each groupmembertakesa bitof
equipmentwhistwe are travellingtobothlocations
inorder to reduce the riskof dropping/breaking
any equipment.Byagreeingtotake twobitsof
equipmenteachitmeansthatas a resultthatno
one shouldbe weigheddone,therefore reducing
the risk.However,issomeone doesaccidently
breaka piece of equipmentthenwe will take the
appropriate measuresinordertocleanupany
messas soonas possible andtonotifythe teacher
of ouraccidentas a result.Therefore,leavingno
hazard to anotherpupil ormembersof the public.
Car accidentwhilsttravellingtoThorndon
CountryPark - There couldbe a potential hazard
whendrivingovertoThorndonCountryPark,in
orderto get there if itis duringa school daythen
one of ourmemberswill drive.Therefore,
makingitmore eco-friendlyaswe will be
travellinginone cartogether.Intermsof a
potential hazard,the hazardmayperhapsbe at
no faultof our ownbut perhapsa memberof
the publicwhomay notbe fully concentrating
on the road and whohas therefore notonlyput
themselvesindangeryetusas well. Although,at
the same time we couldbe causinga potential
hazard if we are all talkingwhichinturnmay
meanthat the driverisn’table toconcentrate as
much whichwouldalsoputusin danger.
Medium Medium To preventa hazardoccurring we will needtomake
sure that everybodyiswearing aseatbeltthatis
providedasthisisa legal requirement.Whenone
of ourgroup membersisdrivingovertoThorndon
CountryPark we will reduce the chance of their
beinga potential hazardbydirectingthe
designateddriversothattheycan fullyfocusonthe
road aheadof them.We will alsomake sure that
any unnecessarytalkingbetween all of usiskeptto
a minimumsothat the drivercan fullyconcentrate
and no reduce the chancesof beingdistracted,
therefore the chance of an accidentonour behalf
will be low.Although,if anotherdriverisat fault
thensometimesthereisn’tmuchwe cando e.g.if
we are stationaryandtheycome speedingbehind
us and don’tleave enoughroomtogetaroundus.

Fallingoff abike – There couldbe a potential
hazard if one of our two artistsfallsoff the bike
whilstridingonitthroughoutourmusic video.
Due to the fact thatErica isn’ta veryconfident
bike riderthiscouldtherefore cause afewissues
especiallywhenridingoverunevengroundthat
none of us are aware of.This couldleadtoone
of ourartist accidentlyhurtingthemselvesasa
result.
Medium Medium In orderto overcome thiswe shouldfirstmake sure
that where we are planningtofilmisflatandthat
there hazardsaroundthe areain whichwe are
filming,e.g.glass.Therefore,thiswouldreduce the
hazard as we will know thatthe area issafe and if
there isan accidentthenby takinga firstaidkit
whenwe will be preparedtodeal withanyminor
issues.
Dog bitingsomeone byaccident/dogrunningoff
– Whilstfilmingwe willneedtobe careful when
leavingthe dogunattended.Thisisbecause the
dog mayrun off or hurt someone asa result.
Thiscouldtherefore resultituslosingvaluable
filmingtime whilstlocate the dog.
Low Low In orderto resolve thisissue itwouldbe useful to
take the dog straighthome afterfilmingthat
particularshot.Thiscan be done byone group
membertakingthe doghome whilstthe othertwo
can still continue tofilm, thereforegettingthe most
out of the time we have as a result.Whichwill
enable ustohave a bettervarietyof shotsasa
result.
Stingingnettles –Whilstfilmingwe shouldbe
careful of any stingingnettleswhichare around.
We shouldbe careful asalthoughwe will be
wearingtights/jeanswe maystill getstungand
therefore come upina rash whichwill hinder
our filmingprogress.
Medium Low To control thisrisk we will keepaneye outforany
stingingnettleswe encounterwhilstfilming.Asa
resultif we see a patch of stingingnettlesasa
resultwe will findanotherplace tofilmtojustbe
certainthat no harm can be done to anyone.
Climbingatree – Due to the fact that Tom (one
of ourartists) will be filmedinatree. It is
essential thatwe make sure thathe can get
up/downfromthe tree okwithoutslippingthus
breaking/damagingapart of hisbody.
Medium Medium Althoughwe can reduce thisriskby helpingTom
climbupthe tree andhelpinghimdownwe
guarantee thatthe tree will be safe. Therefore,
evenafterourcontrol measuresthe riskwill still be
a medium, toresolve thisissue we will informTom
of the potential hazardand of the effectsbefore he
climbsyetstill givinghimsupportthroughoutif he
doesstill decide toclimbthe tree.
Fallingintoalake – We are planningto
incorporate a lake shotinour musicvideo.The
hazard here isthat somebodywithinourgroup
or an actor couldaccidentlyfall intothe lake due
to a numberof reasonse.g.,the groundbe
slippery.
Medium Low In orderto control thiswe will onlyfilmafewshots
by the lake inorderto avoidthishazard from
happeningandinorderto not lose anyvaluable
time as a result.Thiswill enableustotherefore
spendourtime more productively/effectivelyasa
result.
