Risk assessment
1. Risk assessment
Risk Why is it a risk? How can this be avoided? Risk level
1 = LOW
5 = HIGH
Cars
People are at risk of being hit by
cars, it is dark early in the evenings
now and so we may not be
completely visible
We will always have somebody
watching the road while the
others are acting on it.
4
Fairly high risk
Falling over
As I am doing a chase scene, people
are at risk of falling over and
injuring themselves
We will not be filming the chase
scene if it has been raining as
this increases the risk.
3
Medium risk
Tracking shot
When doing the tracking shot, the
cameraman will have to focus on
what the screen is capturing as well
as his footing.
We will film the tracking shot
on a straight, flat path. We will
also check the path for glass,
stones before filming the shot.
2
Quite a low risk
Fence climb
The actor will have to watch his
footing when climbing the fence, we
will have to check for nails in the
fence before as well. The actor has to
try to avoid a fall.
We will check the fence for nails
before the shot is filmed, wewill
also have stairs to lower the
actors fall.
