1. Digipak and Advert
I have decided to use balloons as a constant theme throughout my advert and digipak. My
actor will hold the balloons in different poses and positions. I knew I had to get helium
balloons so I started to research how much they would cost. For a helium cylinder it costs up
to £32.99. However I cannot afford to pay that much for helium, and I will not need 40
balloons I need around 5 or 6.
If I bought the balloons with helium in it may be cheaper than buying the cylinder, a pack of 6
balloonscost99p, thisis cheapenoughtobuy.I have decidedIwould need two different colours of
balloons that emphasise a meaning.

2. Red is a strong colour to use as it has a very powerful meaning, and is a colour people know the
meanings of. It is the best colour to use for my advert and digipak because it amplifies danger and
aggression. This is what is shown in my music video, so continuing with that theme I can chose to
use the colour red. Another colour that would work well with red is the colour black because it
symbolisespowerand the actorsshowthisin inmy video.Redandblackwouldbe the main pairings
for the symbolismsof them,however I’m unsure at whether the shop sells red helium balloons. In
thiscase I wouldchoose blue asitrepresentsconfidence, depression, and trust. Confidence will be
shown by the actor lip-syncing within the video, but the advert and digipak has got to show
confidence tobe able to draw people into the cover. In this case I would keep the colour black and
add blue into the grouping, as having a dark and brighter colour will help them stand out.
