Time Inc. primarily publishes music magazines like NME and Uncut that target younger audiences like teenagers and people in their 20s. The author's indie/rock magazine would be a good fit for Time Inc.'s profile and audience since it is similar in genre to NME and aimed at the same age group. Features of the author's magazine cover like hairstyles, clothing, and props are also comparable to conventions used on the cover of NME.

2. From looking at Time Inc’s website, I
have found that Time Inc media
institution mostly publishes magazines
such as ‘NME’ and ‘Uncut.’ These are
magazines of a similar genre to mine;
however Time Inc also publishes
magazines such as ‘Chat’ and ‘Now’
which are more gossip type of magazines.
The target audience of most of the
magazines which are published by Time
Inc are mainly for younger people, such
as teenagers or people in their 20’s.

would most likely distribute my magazine
would be Time Inc. This is because my
magazine fits their profiles more as my
magazine fits more into the age group and target
audience, of which the magazines that Time Inc
publishes, fit into. My magazine is an
indie/rock genre and is similar to ‘NME’ which
