3. Quark
I used Quark to create my contents page,
using the text tool, the picture content tool
and columns to layout my page as I wanted
it. I copy and pasted images off of my
documents and placed them in the image
boxes I drew
To take my images I used an SLR camera
and then uploaded them and saved them to
my h-Drive, cropping them to size for my
contents page
4. Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths of my contents page:
• I’ve used most of the Codes and Conventions on my contents
page including a page title, the magazine masthead and issue
information, content information, regular content, feature
content, images, page numbers and columns.
• The images I used for my contents page are all relevant to the
content information.
• I used columns to layout my page in the conventional way that
contents pages are laid out.
Weaknesses of my contents page:
• My contents page doesn’t include page numbers on the
images unlike all contents page images.
• There’s a lot of writing which makes it look quite boring and
therefore unappealing to the target audience.
