1. HR JOB PROFILE
POSITION TITLE: HR Consultant (Part-Time 2 -3 days per week)
REPORTS TO: President, Maximum People Performance Inc.
LOCATION: Working from a home office and/or remote locations
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position has a dual role whereby the HR Consultant will be responsible for the growth and
development of the company’s HR Essentials service as well as providing pro-active human resources
support to both new and existing clients. It will require an individual with a proven track record
in business development capabilities as well as possessing a strong background as an HR professional
with experience handling a variety of workplace issues across diverse industries.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide professional and prompt human resources support both virtually and on-site for existing
and new HR Essentials clients
• Pro-actively seek out business development opportunities and assist in the growth of the HR
Essentials service for Maximum People Performance
• Attend client meetings with President and/or Director of Client Services or independently, and
prepare sales proposals
• Continuously work as part of a high-performing team with a view to enhancing our policies,
programs, templates, tools and service offerings to our clients
• Take a lead role in consulting on various HR projects for clients of all sizes and industries and
provide project support when required
• Assist with the design and facilitation of HR training programs (either on-site or using virtual
tools) on a variety of HR related topics
• Research current trends and leading edge approaches in human resources including changes in
legislation and employment practices
• Actively participate in regular team meetings and strategy sessions
• Participate in other special projects and/or assignments as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• University Degree in Human Resources or Business related field is required
• Post secondary diploma in Human Resources or Business related field is an asset
• CHRP designation preferred

2. Experience:
• 4-7 years HR generalist experience required
• Experience in business development and/or customer service is required
• Experience dealing with Employee Relations issues is preferred
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
• Highly proficient computer skills in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work flexible hours from a home office and/or remote locations
