This document outlines the process for a discussion activity called "People as Designers" where students will discuss papers they have read in groups. Each group will have a talker to discuss a paper's key ideas, literature, and personal insights. A listener will focus on the talker without adding their own comments. A note taker will write down everything discussed and ensure the talker was understood correctly. Groups will then create a poster summarizing the paper and presenting their ideas to the class. Students are also assigned to specific groups and instructed to read an additional paper each before the next discussion meeting.
