Intuition Rough Draft
Later that night, my dad and I sat on our large fluffy couch to watch Blue Bloods. I remembered back to how my intuition had led me astray. My
dad turned towards my direction and stated, "You seem more relaxed now than you did at the park." After he had heard everything I had been
convinced would happen, he tried to hold back his laughter saying "You worry and overthink things way too much. I mentinded several times nothing
would happen." I had always believed that 'if something doesn't feel right then it probably isn't,' since our intuition can be powerful. However, I
experienced first hand just how much our minds can play tricks with us. What we believe is in our sight of view and the current state of our mind
interferes with the true

I think that my worldview affects my thoughts and actions in many ways. I think that my worldview affects my thoughts because I think that I go
back to the things that I was taught as a child and that is the way that I think now a day when I have to go back and think about something. I also
think that my worldview affects my actions because I am going to go back and look at the things that I was taught and act the way that I was told
was right when I was little. I do not think that my worldview has not changed at all since I started taking this class at GCU. I think that taking this

Volunteering Rough Draft
"Every successful individual knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of persons working together" (Ryan). These words said
by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, reflects the words my parents would always say to me when I was little. I would donate old clothes that did not
fit, or toys I did not play with anymore. Every summer I would volunteer at my town's public library, as well as at my church. However, as I got
older, doing the simple tasks at the library felt tedious and uninteresting so I stopped volunteering for a while. There were times when I had spare time
that could have and should have been put to use volunteering, but I did not have the motivation. However, after being inducted into my High School's
National Honors Society, I needed volunteer hours in order to remain in it. This was the motivation I needed to begin volunteering again.
I decided to give back to one of my passions, hockey. The hockey community has always had volunteer coaches come to help out at practices. In fact,

I don't remember if it was my choice or my parents, but in 5th grade when we were given the choice to be in band, I was very anxious to start. We got
to meet with Mrs. Jones and try a few different instruments before making a decision. My top three choices were percussion, trombone, and clarinet
(only because my sister had played it). I tried the clarinet first and thought it was alright, but not my favorite. I tried the trombone next, and while it
was difficult, I really wanted to keep trying. I also tried percussion– she just had me keep a beat on my leg– and I thought percussion may be difficult
for me, but I still wanted to do it. In the end, Mrs. Jones decided I would be best fit for the clarinet, mostly because I could use my sisters and not
have to buy a new instrument. I was happy with the choice, mostly because I was excited to be playing anything! Throughout my 5th grade year, I
practiced the clarinet and made my way through our first book. I enjoyed band class and lessons, especially getting to be with some of my friends,
but I kept thinking about the trombone. I still wanted to play it. By the end of the year, I made up my mind. I was going to play the trombone. I
talked to my parents, and my mom talked to Mrs. Jones, allowing me to take the school's trombone home over the summer between 5th and 6th grade.
The first day I got it, I couldn't contain my excitement. I took it right out of the case and put it together. I was at my parents' work,

Rough Draft Autobiography
I was born in the East African nation of Ethiopia and lived there for the majority of my life. I recently moved to the United States, specifically to
New York City. I was the first born to my family, Unlike every other kid in my neighborhood, I, for one, did not spend my childhood singing kumbaya
with others. I had a reason to stay behind, but my mother had a more convincing one, every time I tried to play with others I ended up in heated
fights, most of the time unaware of the reasons behind said fights. So I obeyed my folks and remained home. While at home, I found different
methods to kill time; keep my mind engaged through comic books. Every now and then, my aunts and uncles from America would come to visit and
leave me with their children's DVDs or their comics to keep as a souvenir. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I had in my possession all three issues of the story. Once I acquired them, I was ensnared and they became a medium through which I escape reality. A

with all my emotions. This is when my story becomes your typical teen story in America, but keep in mind that I came to the U.S when I was
fifteen. When I was ten, my mom sat me down before dinner to tell me, "Things with me and your dad are not working out." This shattered my world

Narrative Rough Draft I like to think there are four levels of procrastination. The first is false security, the "I still have plenty of time, I can finish
this later." The second is laziness, the thoughts like,"I should probably get this started. Nah." Next comes denial and excuses such as, "I would start
this, but I'm doing something else right now." and, "I'm just taking a little break." Then finally the crisis stage, the stage during which you stay up all
night long in order to finish the homework assignment you had all day to do. Because of this, the hardest part of my daily routine was the time when

Amelia Earhart Rough Draft
It was announced in 1937, a female plane pilot who goes by the name of Amelia Earhart was announced dead on July 2. Some people believe that her
plane ran out of fuel and crashed into the pacific ocean, but others believe different.
Amelia Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas on July 24, 1897. On December 28, 1920, pilot Frank Hawks gave Amelia her first ride in an airplane.
Amelia started flying all around the world, she even inspired other female pilots. Amelia Earhart started flying because she was not afraid to break
down barriers, she wanted to show that women can do such a thing that men can do. Amelia did take a call to fly around the world and she was
announced dead on July 2, 1937 from her plane crashing into the Pacific Ocean.
In 1928, Amelia Earhart received a phone call that changed her life. Amelia was invited to become the first woman passenger to cross the atlantic ocean
in a plane. On the day of takeoff for Amelia she had hopped in a Fokker tri–motor aircraft. The plane was good, but it has been proven the plane had
been in the shop numerous times because parts would not do the job they were supposed to do. On July 2, 1937, the day Amelia Earhart had lost
control of the plane during takeoff, and during her flight it was said she had ran out of fuel during her trip, and crashed into the pacific ocean near the
Marshall and Howland Islands. In 1937 Amelia Earhart was proven dead, but there has been photograph proof of her after the

side, a perfectly placed bunt in my opinion, and takes off for first. The catcher springs out of his squat and goes to get the ball, he throws, and
"SAFE!" screamed the umpire named Donovan. Jake had made it, and was most likely going to get the steal sign. All of our team, The Complete Game

Rough Draft Process Analysis
When beginning to write an essay everyone has their own method of doing so. Some may like to brainstorm while others may prefer to go straight
into writing about their topic. I personally beginning every essay by collecting ideas about my topic before coordinating them into a type of diagram,
next I proceed to do my rough draft before revising over the paper and finally composing my final draft. The point of the writing process is to help
break everything down so ideas can be organized and everything can make perfect sense for not just the writer but also the reader.
Writing an essay can be difficult if a person does not know how or where to begin. I personally believe the first step of writing is to list down ideas
about the topic. After ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Proofreading and revising is a very crucial step in the writing process. If a person does not proofread then the essay they worked on may not make
sense and may overall confuse the reader. Using correct punctuation shows how sentences are supposed to be read. Once I have made sure all my
sentences are grammatically correct I then compose my final copy of the essay. Writing can be difficult if not done correctly. That is why there is a
writing process to follow. Using some type of way to group ideas together help coordinate how the essay will go. Then once the ideas are put together
the rough draft can be formed and edited. After everything has been writing accordantly the essay can then be turned in. Some may think the writing
process is just some more additional steps to getting their essay done but overall it makes the writing experience easier and more

A Rough Draft : Abuse

Rough Draft: Abuse
Every human has a right to live in a safe environment without the threat or presence of abuse– be it psychological, physical, sexual, emotional, or
economical– and to be accepted into shelter without discrimination against age, gender, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, disability, or economic,
mental, or social status. To live in a safe healthy environment is a privilege that all deserve. To have the opportunity to hone their skills and figure out
who they are without fear of discrimination or any element of deterrence. All humans are equal and therefore all humans deserve the equal chance to be
themselves and grow without fear in their lives.
The definition of abuse ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Any form of abuse can affect a person for life, directly or indirectly, the effects being visible or invisible, hidden away deep down and can be triggered
at any time.
Abuse can take several forms and can be one or any combination of psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, or economic
abuse. Each subcategory is equally as harmful if used on an individual, and even more so if multiple are used together which is more common
unfortunately due to the fact that it is more likely that if one form of abuse is used, then another is also prevalent. Long term effects of all forms of
abuse can result in PTSD, depression, ADD/ADHD, academic problems, flashbacks, withdrawal, sleep difficulty, eating disorders, self harm, substance
abuse, or panic attacks. ("Effects of Child Abuse and Neglect.")
Other effects of abusive treatment can result in the abused to experience, during the time of or years later, upsetting emotions, frightening memories, or
a sense of consistent danger to oneself, disconnection from oneself or reality, or experience trust issues.
Domestic Abuse can be formatted into a cycle with six steps beginning with abuse, where the abuser initially lashes out and defines their role of power
over the abused. The next step is the guilt of the abuser over what actions they had performed to harm the abused. The third step are the excuses that
cover up what the abuser has done, excusing their behavior and

Rough Draft Research Paper
It seems that at this point in time rough drafts are becoming less and less of a staple feature in society. People no longer feel the need to collect their
thoughts and ponder on the point their trying to make. Instead, most people want to print that final paper as fast as they possibly can, just to get it
over with. The common mentality is that the idea or opinion being presented comes second to how fast you can blurt it out. This is probably do to the
fact that without a rough draft there is no need to worry over whether or not your point is correct, instead one can focus on defending the paper when it
is challenged by criticism. However, I believe that without a rough draft the importance of the idea within the paper is forgotten and lost within the
haste of the presentation. In the end, if you don't take the time to think, then your own opinion won't be one hundred percent of your own beliefs. ...

Rough Draft Essay
A "rough draft" is something someone writes with the express purpose of getting their ideas out on paper. Expectedly, more often than not, people will
write multiple drafts before writing their final, in an effort to get to their best paper. I was, of course, introduced to the phenomenon that is the rough
draft in middle school. Interestingly, whenever I attempted to write a rough draft, my thoughts would become muddled and slowly but surely, I was
left with nothing to write. Hardly after being introduced to the rough draft than I jettisoned it; in fact, it is because of that dismissal that has prompted
me to adopt a different method. My alternative method is a rather simple one: I ruminate on a particular topic with the purpose of gathering... Show

The first step is something I like to call, The Royal Rumble of Ideas. The path in which my paper will follow as well as my thoughts and ideas are
formed from the first process. The way in which it does this, is by requiring the writer to apply an abundant amount of focus on one particular area;
whereas, the typical strategy, asks for the writer to just write (cue eye roll). If I am to construct a story, I must utilize this step. En passant, I might
add, the crux of the former element is very much similar to the latter, as well as in the way in which it works. The commonality to which I am
referring, is rumination. The simplicity of it is bemusing, especially considering it's efficiency, but I will describe that later. The way this is utilized, is
by requiring the writer to mull over what they will write next. For example: When I am writing, regardless of the type of paper, I will deeply
contemplate what my next sentence will be and how it will be phrased. Incidentally, in English class, I will often be seen staring into the ether, as if I
am on a psychotropic drug. There is, however, a reason behind this seemingly sinister image. As I described, rumination is crucial in my writing
process: In order to produce a sentence, or a paragraph for that matter, I must distill information from that contemplation. (See, it even

Psychologist Rough Draft
Psychologist Rough Draft Have you ever wondered why people do the things they do? Everyone behaves differently in their own little ways, but
sometimes these things cannot be understood. Through psychology, people are able to interpret behavior and apply the data to diagnose mental
illnesses. As Ronald Reagan once said, "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone". The role of being a psychologist means helping
others by studying behavioral, cognitive, and social processes. This information is interpreted and then used to benefit others emotionally and mentally,
and allows people to better understand how the mind works. Becoming a psychologist is rewarding when you consider the responsibilities, salary, and
requirements associated with the profession. The predominant task of psychologists is to collect information about the way humans act and identify
behavioral and emotional patterns. As stated by www.psychology.org.au, "Psychologists are experts in human behaviour. They use scientific methods to
study the factors that influence the way that people think, feel and learn, and evidence–based strategies and interventions to help people to overcome
challenges and improve their performance" (1). Overall, psychologists are responsible for conducting scientific studies of behavior and brain functions.

America Should Bring Back the Draft: Rough Draft The U.S. signed the Selective Service Act into law in 1917, which required all men aged 21–35 to
register for the draft and join the military if needed (later changed to 18–35). The draft, also called conscription, was used to quickly build the military
in times of need. The first draft in the U.S. was used during WWI. The draft was reinstated in WWII and used when needed until after the Vietnam
War. Now, the U.S. uses an All
–Volunteer force, meaning individuals enlist in themilitary on their own terms. The U.S. should bring back the draft to
lower PTSD rates, build the character of U.S. citizens and raise the military in times of need. One reason why the U.S. should bring back the draft ...

It is very difficult to persuade enough people to enlist quickly during times of need, not to mention the cheapest. The U.S. government has planned to
spend $300 million on recruiting bonuses and advertisements to recruit 6,000 soldiers ("Army to spend $300 million on bonuses and ads to get 6,000
more recruits"). The draft makes millions of people available to serve. With the all–volunteer force, over 95% of the population are opting out of
military service ("Sharing the Sacrifice Can Close the Gap"). Many people that enlist in the military come from low–income families; the military is a
guaranteed paycheck. There is a very small variety of demographics in the U.S. military. Major General Dennis Liach believes it is not fair that the
military is made up mostly of low–income families, simply because they are from low–income families ("Should the U.S. Bring Back the Draft?"). If
everyone was required to serve, it could bridge the civilian and military gap, while varying the economic class of military members. Reinstating the
draft is needed for many reasons, but the quickness of building the military would be its most important

Belichick Rough Draft
Handcuffed with the lack of first round picks due to the aftermath of the nationwide epidemic known as Deflategate, the draft picks made by the New
England Patriots was always going to be an intriguing watch. Bill Belichick is renowned around the league as the type of general manager who is
very aggressive with his moves in the draft, a microcosm of his personality.
Belichick seeks to soak out every last value with every draft pick he possesses. Trading up, trading down, using picks to obtain established, troubled
players. Mock drafts are practically useless when trying to predict the types of moves that Belichick will make in a certain draft position. The fact that
the Patriots were making their first pick in the second round was a source ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

intelligent scoring a 39 on the Wonderlic and the Patriots are hoping that his pass blocking ability, one of the best in all of college football translates

Rough Draft Reflection
Making revision to my rough draft was difficult but a rewarding task. At times I felt like I needed a break from my paper and I did take many breaks.
Taking breaks is understandable however when an individual take breaks try to keep in mind the timeframe in which you need in order to complete the
final research paper. This experience has taught me that planning is a must and sticking to the planning schedule is necessary in order to produce a
grammar, well structured and organized paper.
When trying to revise this research paper I became overly focused on the editorial details. When doing so I could have included more research
information which would make my research paper to have a strong reinforcement references to my topic and thesis

MLA Rough Draft
1.When writing, whether you paraphrase or directly quote someone else's ideas anywhere in your paper, you must document the use of those borrowed
ideas with an internal citation notation. In MLA, there are two basic features of an internal citation. What are they?
In–text citation – This is a parenthetical citation within the paper that refers the reader to a list of works cited. It commonly includes the author of the
source and a page number, and punctuation separates the author's last name and the page number. Nor is the abbreviation p. (for "page") used. The
period that ends the sentence appears after the closing parenthesis. 2.In MLA, if you work (include) the identity of the source into the sentence
structure, where do page numbers ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In MLA, how are the works cited entries organized on the Work(s) Cited page?
пѓ Tell me how to arrange a works cited list on the page. No example required.
пЃ¶Create a new page at the end of your paper for a "Works Cited" list. Center the words "Works Cited" at the top of the page. Double space after the
title and begin entering citations.
пЃ¶Entries are listed alphabetically by the last name of the author or by the first major word of the title if no author is given. If a source has more than
one author, it is alphabetized by the last name of the author whose name appears first. The entries are not numbered.
пЃ¶Entries are double–spaced.
пЃ¶The first line of each entry begins at the left margin. If more than one line is needed to complete the entry, additional lines are indented five spaces
or half an inch (this is called a hanging indent).
6.In MLA, if the source's identity is not worked into (written as part of) your sentence structure, how does the internal citation look the first time you
create it? Use your last name and page number 123 to illustrate your answer.
To correctly answer question 6, show me (don't tell me) how an internal citation looks the first time you cite it in your paper, using your name as the

Rough Draft Pattern Analysis
Writing is often a difficult process to accomplish. Normally, when writing a paper, I usually write whatever comes to mind for a few minutes without
any regard to grammar or spelling. I have come to realize that brainstorming is a less effective way for me to construct a paper because I found it
difficult to organize and to write in a constructive manner. By acknowledging the purpose forwriting and the audience, a clear pattern makes writing a
much easier task to accomplish and organize. The pattern of development I decided to use is creating a rough draft of the first assignment. In my
opinion, this pattern makes it much easier for writers to convey their point of view to a particular audience. For instance, the rough draft pattern consists

Rough Draft Narrative
The adolescent years are the hardest years lived by everyone. Hormones are raging out of control and thoughts of self doubt are present on your mind
at every second. You spend majority of your time enclosed a facility with other teenagers all experiencing the same discomfort. That's right: high school.
HIgh school for me was the final stage in metamorphosis to adulthood. Beginning my my high school career in a brand new school with no familiar
faces or friends was a first. For the first time, I was alone. I spent lunches and alone and had no one to work with. At first, it was all so terrifying,
borderline embarrassing! But later, despite being by myself, I stopped feeling alone. My focus later stopped circulating around the fact that I was ...

Being the oldest, I grew up with many responsibilities. I have always been the one to set the example, create the right path, and be the role model
for my younger siblings. My single mother worked day and sometimes even nights to provide us all with what we needed, never failing to keep a
roof over our heads and clothes on our backs, so she along with my brother and sister became my motivation to become the best I can be. I knew
schooling would be an issue for us economically; there was no way my mother could ever help me pay and there was no way I would allow her to
overwork herself. So I made the decision to leave home at the age of seventeen and move to Oregon. Becoming a resident of Oregon allows me to
afford schooling at a much better cost, even if it means being so far away. It is very difficult being distant from my family, but I am doing this for
them. Finally, I reached the moment in my life where I saw what was most important to me and it was to be the best I can be for my family.
I came of age the moment I realized I strong and brave to stand own my own, defending my beliefs, for the people who mean most to me. I am an

Rough Draft Autobiography
I find it slightly unfitting to write an autobiography at the young age of 18. Personally, I feel as if my perspective is not the same as many people
my age. This is the word of someone who was born in the wrong generation; the story of someone who feels so different from other young adults.
Someone born years too late, with still so much to learn can be conflicting.
In the beginning of the day, the tug of war in my mind has started. I feel like I should always know what to do with myself and others, but at the end
of the day I'm 18. It can be troubling and scary to be so beyond my years. I constantly find myself giving people, many times to whom is older than
me, life advice. I find more pressure put on me by my family, my boss and myself. This pressure all started when I had to grow up quickly and, for
a few years raised myself. When things in my life starting to get eventful was in third grade when my mom got remarried. This marriage didn't even

I cannot comprehend how a " normal" 18 year old thinks on a daily basis. Its as if they are living their own lives to see what other people think about
them. Why care if people have the newest shoes? Why care about the newest iPhone or what is trending on social media? Why do the teenagers and
young adults care so much about the wrong things? This life is not about possessions or money. Yes, those things can make your life a bit more simple,
but why would someone want simple. The human experience is not about pleasing others, but more about making yourself happy and healthy and
spreading that joy from within. That all starts with love. It has taken me 6 years, roughly, to figure that out and apply it to my everyday life. And even

Louis Braille Rough Draft Some people think that teenagers are lazy, selfish, and ignorant. However, there are many teenagers that have changed our
world. One teen that changed the world is Louis Braille. A few hundred years ago, blind people were only part of the lower class because education
was hard for them to obtain. But this is not so, due to the writing system that Louis Braille created. At the age of 15, Louis Braille formulated a writing
system that enables the blind to read and write. Now, the blind can communicate and be educated because of the writing system that Louis Braille came
up with.

Braille is easier to read and write and is a more efficient language. Blind people are now literate, and have access to better education. Learning is now
much easier for people without eyesight. It is relatively easy to learn. It is improving the lives of many because it is easier for a blind person to
learn to read and write in Braille rather than learn to read and write with regular numerals when they cannot even see them. It is used in almost every
country, signs help blind people get around in public spaces. And, most important, blind people can communicate independently, without needing print.
Braille is based on a six dot code where different dots represent different letters/numbers. There are contractions that represent commonly used words
and symbols. Each set of dots is called a cell. Each cell is spaced so that it does not get confused with other cells.
However, there are disadvantages of the Braille Writing System. It is hard for a sighted person that has not learned it to learn it. It can be sometimes
hard for a person to learn Braille if their fingers are not sensitive enough to read the position of the dots. Errors cannot be erased. Braille is not an
individual language, it is just another method to read and write optimized for the

English has been my worst subject and I failed it, but in that experience I learned a very valuable lesson which was to make an inference about what I
want to say, than say it, and lastly saying it in a better way.
As a reader I have learned that you do not have to always be interested in what you are reading, but be able to read it to your understanding. From an

The purpose of brainstorming is to generate ideas. This improves the writers critical thinking. A rough draft is important because it helps the
writer see the information they gathered, and correct any error they have made. A rough draft is like you already have enough information and
understand the topic, so basically completing an exercise in prewriting. The reasons for a rough draft is because it gives you a start to put
together your ideas and evidence. Writing a rough draft lets you switch topic completely. The revision is like a baby to the final draft because now
you are sure your paper is free of all errors. In a revision the writer sees again their paper to look at it from a different perspective. Now they can
reconsider the things they have down on their paper. Refining their purpose, and reorganizing their paper. The final draft is when you are assured the
paper is completed and can now be read. A strong writing includes; a interesting topic, knowing your audience, accurate word choices, correct

Hamlet Rough Draft
Throughout the play, Hamlet shows many examples of being an indecisive person and being unable to do anything he wants to, as if something stops
him. An example would be in act five, when he decides to confess his love for Ophelia on her grave. He took too long to tell Ophelia or anyone for
the matter about his love for her. Another example would be his mother remarrying, andHamlet not being able to confess his true feelings about King
Claudius being his new father. In the first four acts, Hamlet goes on about his life being miserable and in some kind of melancholy mood. He can't
find a way to deal with it, so he keeps all of his negative feelings to himself. This "depressed" funk he is in interferes with his will to act upon things that

Although Hamlet shows himself as indecisive and insecure, towards the end of the story he does show some act of courage; enough to finally go and kill
King Claudius. At first, he finds himself procrastinating at the matter, because he comes up behind King Claudius while he's praying. He originally
planned on killing him right then and there, but wait! Hamlet stops and lets his inner coward win over yet again. After a series of deep thoughts, he
does decide to kill his uncle, and realizes that he must go through with his plan quickly, before Hamlet himself is killed.
"Thus conscience does not make cowards of us all;/ And thus the native hue of resolution/ Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought;/ And
enterprises of great pith and moment,/ With this regard, their currents turn away,/ And lose the name of action." Hamlet here combines some themes
of this play: death and life, the connection between thought and action. In act five scene five, he goes into Claudius' room to kill him. Like the last
time he went to kill him, he was on his knees praying. Why send him to Heaven when he should go to Hell? His father wasn't given a chance to
repent his sins before he was murdered, so why should King Claudius? Hamlet thinks about this for a minute, and decides to wait for a more reasonable

SLAVERY IN CHURCH ESSAY ROUGH DRAFT
When we think of the word slavery, extremely negative connotations to mind. We think of how millions of African people were rounded up like sheep,
stuffed into boats with horrible conditions, and brought to this country where they were treated as lesser people. They were forced to work without
pay, in one of the most unforgiving occupations, farming. All this because of where they were from and the color of their skin. Despite this, many
people actually defended slavery using the bible. Passages such as St. Paul's Letter to the Colossians approves slaves where he writes, "Slaves, obey
your human master in everything, not only when being watched, as currying favor, but in simplicity of heart, fearing the Lord." However, due to the
inhumanity of slavery, during Vatican II the Church reversed its ideas on slavery. This massive change took place more than 80 years after the end of
reconstruction. This long period of time raises many questions regarding the Church 's ability to make that big of a change, and why the Church
waited so long make those changes. These types of questions can be answered by going back into the bible, and into the Church's history through a
process called Biblical criticism.
The process of Biblical Criticism is when a theologian analyzes a passage of scripture in terms of the time and place of its writing. This process is
useful when

Education has changed students' lives for years. Why do you think education is important to teens? What some students don't get, if you don't have an
education you will not end up having a very good job. Some students just blow off school and don't listen. On the other hand, there are some kids that
do listen and they will end up being very successful. One reason I think education is important to students is it will help prepare them make good
grades so they can be involved in extracurricular activities. If they want to play sports, they need to keep a passing grade in all classes. By keeping
their grades up students will be able to represent their school in many ways. Extracurricular activities can help students become

Ch3: Essay: Rough Draft
Abortion really today has been a very controversial issue in today's society. An interesting claim within it is that abortion can be done safely through
the use of medical abortion and although medical abortions can be safe and trustworthy as experts might say, there still are risks that women will have
to face and eventually take after abortion. Major types of risks can be pelvic infections, blood clots in the uterus or maybe a torn cervix. These are just
few out of many health problems caused from abortion.
First type of risk could be pelvic infections which is basically the infection of the woman's organs of her reproductive system. This is usually common

Intuition Rough Draft

  • 1. Intuition Rough Draft Later that night, my dad and I sat on our large fluffy couch to watch Blue Bloods. I remembered back to how my intuition had led me astray. My dad turned towards my direction and stated, "You seem more relaxed now than you did at the park." After he had heard everything I had been convinced would happen, he tried to hold back his laughter saying "You worry and overthink things way too much. I mentinded several times nothing would happen." I had always believed that 'if something doesn't feel right then it probably isn't,' since our intuition can be powerful. However, I experienced first hand just how much our minds can play tricks with us. What we believe is in our sight of view and the current state of our mind interferes with the true ... • 2. Rough Draft Katelyn CWV M–W–F 9:50am 12/6/13 Prof. Sharpe God has been a very important part of my live since I was a very little girl. When I was only a couple of months old I was baptized. That was my first spiritual encounter with God. I then proceeded to commit my first communion in third grade. I then received my confirmation when I was in eighth grade. Like I said before God has been a very important part in my life for a very long time. Who is God? What are his characteristics? I believe that God is the person who created me and he is the person I believe in. I also think that God is the creator of the world and that has control over everything that happens in my life. I think that some of God's characteristics are that he has the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I think that my worldview affects my thoughts and actions in many ways. • 3. Volunteering Rough Draft "Every successful individual knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of persons working together" (Ryan). These words said by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, reflects the words my parents would always say to me when I was little. I would donate old clothes that did not fit, or toys I did not play with anymore. Every summer I would volunteer at my town's public library, as well as at my church. However, as I got older, doing the simple tasks at the library felt tedious and uninteresting so I stopped volunteering for a while. There were times when I had spare time that could have and should have been put to use volunteering, but I did not have the motivation. However, after being inducted into my High School's National Honors Society, I needed volunteer hours in order to remain in it. This was the motivation I needed to begin volunteering again. I decided to give back to one of my passions, hockey. The hockey community has always had volunteer coaches come to help out at practices. • 4. Outline Of A Rough Draft Memoir Rough Draft I don't remember if it was my choice or my parents, but in 5th grade when we were given the choice to be in band, I was very anxious to start. We got to meet with Mrs. Jones and try a few different instruments before making a decision. My top three choices were percussion, trombone, and clarinet (only because my sister had played it). I tried the clarinet first and thought it was alright, but not my favorite. I tried the trombone next, and while it was difficult, I really wanted to keep trying. I also tried percussion– she just had me keep a beat on my leg– and I thought percussion may be difficult for me, but I still wanted to do it. In the end, Mrs. Jones decided I would be best fit for the clarinet, mostly because I could use my sisters and not have to buy a new instrument. I was happy with the choice, mostly because I was excited to be playing anything! Throughout my 5th grade year, I practiced the clarinet and made my way through our first book. I enjoyed band class and lessons, especially getting to be with some of my friends, but I kept thinking about the trombone. I still wanted to play it. By the end of the year, I made up my mind. I was going to play the trombone. I talked to my parents, and my mom talked to Mrs. Jones, allowing me to take the school's trombone home over the summer between 5th and 6th grade. The first day I got it, I couldn't contain my excitement. I took it right out of the case and put it together. I was at my parents' work, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Rough Draft Autobiography I was born in the East African nation of Ethiopia and lived there for the majority of my life. I recently moved to the United States, specifically to New York City. I was the first born to my family, Unlike every other kid in my neighborhood, I, for one, did not spend my childhood singing kumbaya with others. I had a reason to stay behind, but my mother had a more convincing one, every time I tried to play with others I ended up in heated fights, most of the time unaware of the reasons behind said fights. So I obeyed my folks and remained home. While at home, I found different methods to kill time; keep my mind engaged through comic books. Every now and then, my aunts and uncles from America would come to visit and leave me with their children's DVDs or their comics to keep as a souvenir. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is when my story becomes your typical teen story in America, but keep in mind that I came to the U.S when I was fifteen. When I was ten, my mom sat me down before dinner to tell me, "Things with me and your dad are not working out." This shattered my world into pieces. • 6. Narrative Rough Draft Narrative Rough Draft I like to think there are four levels of procrastination. The first is false security, the "I still have plenty of time, I can finish this later." The second is laziness, the thoughts like,"I should probably get this started. Nah." Next comes denial and excuses such as, "I would start this, but I'm doing something else right now." and, "I'm just taking a little break." Then finally the crisis stage, the stage during which you stay up all night long in order to finish the homework assignment you had all day to do. Because of this, the hardest part of my daily routine was the time when I knew I needed to start my homework, but I truly wanted to keep watching shows on Netflix. Some people believe that her plane ran out of fuel and crashed into the pacific ocean, but others believe different. Amelia Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas on July 24, 1897. On December 28, 1920, pilot Frank Hawks gave Amelia her first ride in an airplane. Amelia started flying all around the world, she even inspired other female pilots. Amelia Earhart started flying because she was not afraid to break down barriers, she wanted to show that women can do such a thing that men can do. Amelia did take a call to fly around the world and she was announced dead on July 2, 1937 from her plane crashing into the Pacific Ocean. In 1928, Amelia Earhart received a phone call that changed her life. Amelia was invited to become the first woman passenger to cross the atlantic ocean in a plane. On the day of takeoff for Amelia she had hopped in a Fokker tri–motor aircraft. The plane was good, but it has been proven the plane had been in the shop numerous times because parts would not do the job they were supposed to do. On July 2, 1937, the day Amelia Earhart had lost control of the plane during takeoff, and during her flight it was said she had ran out of fuel during her trip, and crashed into the pacific ocean near the Marshall and Howland Islands. Psychiatrists are doctors that are trained to diagnose mental illnesses, and spot mental, emotional and behavioral symptoms. They work with their patients, listening to their stories, and performing tests in order to find out what, if any, mental illnesses or cognitive disorders. The median annual salary for a psychiatrist is around $200,000. There are quite a few job requirements that come with being a psychiatrist. Jake, our second baseman and the literalist on my team, was hitting first, Jake tries to bunt and misses. "C'mon Jake, get the barrel on the ball," Said my first base coach Matt Fitzmorris, who played in the majors, "Let's go!" On the very next pitch Jake tries to bunt again and actually gets it down the third base side, a perfectly placed bunt in my opinion, and takes off for first. The catcher springs out of his squat and goes to get the ball, he throws, and "SAFE!" screamed the umpire named Donovan. Jake had made it, and was most likely going to get the steal sign. All of our team, The Complete Game Rangers, were on the fence pounding it relentlessly, and screaming random gibberish. We all calm down as our catcher Ry, whose hair is "lucky", comes up. • 14. Rough Draft Process Analysis When beginning to write an essay everyone has their own method of doing so. Some may like to brainstorm while others may prefer to go straight into writing about their topic. I personally beginning every essay by collecting ideas about my topic before coordinating them into a type of diagram, next I proceed to do my rough draft before revising over the paper and finally composing my final draft. The point of the writing process is to help break everything down so ideas can be organized and everything can make perfect sense for not just the writer but also the reader. Writing an essay can be difficult if a person does not know how or where to begin. I personally believe the first step of writing is to list down ideas about the topic. After ... A Rough Draft : Abuse Amelia Lanier ENG III Ms. Fox 6 February 2015 Rough Draft: Abuse Every human has a right to live in a safe environment without the threat or presence of abuse– be it psychological, physical, sexual, emotional, or economical– and to be accepted into shelter without discrimination against age, gender, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, disability, or economic, mental, or social status. To live in a safe healthy environment is a privilege that all deserve. Any form of abuse can affect a person for life, directly or indirectly, the effects being visible or invisible, hidden away deep down and can be triggered at any time. Abuse can take several forms and can be one or any combination of psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, or economic abuse. Each subcategory is equally as harmful if used on an individual, and even more so if multiple are used together which is more common unfortunately due to the fact that it is more likely that if one form of abuse is used, then another is also prevalent. Long term effects of all forms of abuse can result in PTSD, depression, ADD/ADHD, academic problems, flashbacks, withdrawal, sleep difficulty, eating disorders, self harm, substance abuse, or panic attacks. ("Effects of Child Abuse and Neglect.") Other effects of abusive treatment can result in the abused to experience, during the time of or years later, upsetting emotions, frightening memories, or a sense of consistent danger to oneself, disconnection from oneself or reality, or experience trust issues. Domestic Abuse can be formatted into a cycle with six steps beginning with abuse, where the abuser initially lashes out and defines their role of power over the abused. The next step is the guilt of the abuser over what actions they had performed to harm the abused. The third step are the excuses that cover up what the abuser has done, excusing their behavior and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 16. Rough Draft Research Paper It seems that at this point in time rough drafts are becoming less and less of a staple feature in society. People no longer feel the need to collect their thoughts and ponder on the point their trying to make. Instead, most people want to print that final paper as fast as they possibly can, just to get it over with. The common mentality is that the idea or opinion being presented comes second to how fast you can blurt it out. This is probably do to the fact that without a rough draft there is no need to worry over whether or not your point is correct, instead one can focus on defending the paper when it is challenged by criticism. However, I believe that without a rough draft the importance of the idea within the paper is forgotten and lost within the haste of the presentation. • 17. Rough Draft Essay A "rough draft" is something someone writes with the express purpose of getting their ideas out on paper. Expectedly, more often than not, people will write multiple drafts before writing their final, in an effort to get to their best paper. I was, of course, introduced to the phenomenon that is the rough draft in middle school. Interestingly, whenever I attempted to write a rough draft, my thoughts would become muddled and slowly but surely, I was left with nothing to write. Hardly after being introduced to the rough draft than I jettisoned it; in fact, it is because of that dismissal that has prompted me to adopt a different method. My alternative method is a rather simple one: I ruminate on a particular topic with the purpose of gathering... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first step is something I like to call, The Royal Rumble of Ideas. The path in which my paper will follow as well as my thoughts and ideas are formed from the first process. The way in which it does this, is by requiring the writer to apply an abundant amount of focus on one particular area; whereas, the typical strategy, asks for the writer to just write (cue eye roll). If I am to construct a story, I must utilize this step. En passant, I might add, the crux of the former element is very much similar to the latter, as well as in the way in which it works. The commonality to which I am referring, is rumination. The simplicity of it is bemusing, especially considering it's efficiency, but I will describe that later. The way this is utilized, is by requiring the writer to mull over what they will write next. For example: When I am writing, regardless of the type of paper, I will deeply contemplate what my next sentence will be and how it will be phrased. Incidentally, in English class, I will often be seen staring into the ether, as if I am on a psychotropic drug. There is, however, a reason behind this seemingly sinister image. As I described, rumination is crucial in my writing process: In order to produce a sentence, or a paragraph for that matter, I must distill information from that contemplation. (See, it even ...
