This document presents a smart home security and automation system using Internet of Things technologies. It proposes a system that uses Bluetooth for in-home control via an Android app, and GSM for mobile control using an Arduino development board. The system aims to provide an intelligent home design that is simple, efficient and cost-effective. It analyzes existing home automation techniques and identifies pros and cons in terms of technology, efficiency and cost. The proposed system integrates centralized automation and security modules connected through a master control interface.
