This document presents the results of an experimental study on the mechanical properties of transparent concrete. Transparent concrete is concrete that allows the transmission of light through it. In the study, three types of molds were prepared to cast concrete cubes, cylinders, and wall panels. The concrete mixes contained cement, sand, aggregate, glass fibers ranging from 0.5% to 2%, and plastic optical fibers. The concretes were tested at 7 and 28 days to determine their compressive, tensile, and flexural strengths as well as their light transmittance properties. The results showed that the strengths increased with higher glass fiber content. Light was able to pass clearly through the specimens containing plastic optical fibers. Compared to normal concrete, transparent
