This document summarizes a study that explored alternative refrigerants to R600a with better coefficient of performance (COP) and lower global warming potential (GWP). Various refrigerant mixtures were analyzed using REFPROP software. The mixture with the lowest liquid phase temperature at 1 bar was selected for further analysis. The mixture of R290/R170/R600a in a 16/60/24 mass ratio was found to have a higher COP of 2.85 compared to R600a (2.43) and R290 (1.76), as well as a lower GWP of 4.6 compared to R600a (5) and R170 (6). Therefore, this mixture is proposed as a potential
