2. I created my contents page on Quark on international paper – then I
split the page into the three columns by creating a text box. Next I
added the picture box tool where the images will be imported.
3. I then created the table/column where the information for each page and
page numbers will be. Since I created my rough layout without any color
which I have changed during the process testing various colors that will be
easy for readers/buyers of the magazine to read. I decided on a blue and grey
color scheme.
4. The next part of creating my contents was adding the mini image of the front
cover of the magazine - to remind the reader what magazine they are reading
5. Importing the images was the next part of my contents page, in my contents page
rough layout I have chosen a different picture to the one in the rough layout since it is
more relevant to a college. I also made another column on the right hand side for the
other pages that is included in the magazine.
6. I finished the information for the columns and started to add my other images in the
middle of the contents page - I had to change one of the images since it was a picture of
one of the articles which I haven't created. So I only had two images with lots of blank
space - so I filled in the space within information about the images below it.The images in
the middle had a circle splash to what page it was however I couldn't find the shape so I
used a rectangle instead - which does the same job.
7. The last part of the contents page was adding the magazine
title at the bottom and the date/issue of the magazine. Just
like my front cover not much has been changed in the process
of creating the cover.
