2. Masthead/date and main image
Firstly I added a masthead with the date and the main image to my
contents page. The masthead links with the masthead on the front
cover as the same font/colour theme is used. I placed this at the top as
this is a convention of a magazine and titles the whole page so the
audience know what this page is all about. The image I used isn’t very
big as a lot more information needs to be added to this page.
3. Contents and smaller image
Next I added the contents down the
side with headings that stand out (black
background, white writing), so that the
audience can easily find a certain page.
I also added a smaller image of a
different artist so that the magazine
has a variety of indie artists featured.
4. Subscription box
Then I added the subscription box to the bottom of the page, I put this
in a yellow font with a black background so it stands out from the rest
so that people can get more of this magazine by subscribing.
5. Editorial
Next I added the editorial in the centre of my contents page so it is a
main point about this page as it introduces you to the magazine and
lets you know what this new magazine is all about.
6. Final adjustments
Lastly I made my final adjustments by changing the small image at the
bottom of the page as I needed to add more of a variety of artists so it
would appeal to the audience more. I also added a picture of the
magazine front cover to the subscription box so that it looks more
realistic.
