3. RESEARCH
The research we did for our music videos was watching
stormze in class and anaylisting what types of shots they
have used in the video. We also then look at animals
collective and one direction to increase our knowledge of
different shot types. We learmnt different types of the
same shot and how angles can help make the video look
good.

4. PLANNING
For the planning stage we made story boards of our key
shots on it this is important because if you don’t have
the keys shots you will get mixed up and some of the
good ideas you have thought of wont get shot because
you might not remember them. In additon to there was
also a shot list. On the shot list you have to say what
type of shot your doing and in what order your doing it.
This helps simplyfiy even more.

5. TIME MANAGEMENT
Time management I handled well throughout the process
on the day when filing I had 5 hours to get all the shots
in and I manage to within 4 hours. When it came to the
editing process I also achieved good time management
and got it done within 3 days.

6. TECHNICAL QUALITIES -
CAMERA
I filmed on a Samsung s10 and used a phone
gimble to achieve stable footage whilst
filming my friend. Id dint run into any storage
issues on the phone or have any corrupt
videos.

7. TECHNICAL QUALITIES –
EDITING/POST
When editing I could of added more special effect to
make the video less reparative, as the different
camera shot did little in the way to make it more fun
and enjoyable. The special effect I could of added
could have been some reply shots, and slow motion.

8. AESTHETIC QUALITIES
I was really pleased with the colours I have chosen for the video. In
editing I mage the colour of the person rideing the bike much more vivid
and stands out then when the other person in the video who wasn’t
having fun they were in balck and white.

9. AUDIENCE APPEAL
I think one thing I could improve on much more
is making it appeal to a wider audience which will
increase the video success because it more
relatable. I only catered for mountain bikers who
like rock music in this video.

What did you like about the product?
 I really liked the different shot types and the slow build up to the
chorus where the speed picked up. Good use of colours to show
emotion. Maybe think more about what is happening in the shot at
certain times. For example in a chorus there was not much going on
when you could have included a more exciting shot.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?

What did you like about the product?
 I liked the set-up, guy day dreaming (nice touch to put it in B&W and
the bike footage in colour, to show how his life feels dull and boring)
the cutting to the beat worked really well with the song and the bike
shots were really engaging. sometimes we do see (in the right side of
the screen) part of what you used to shoot the shot with. Easy fix of
cropping it out, makes it feel amateur. Apart from that, a really good
stuff Henry, entertaining.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?

What did you like about the product?
 "I like the camera work with a good mix of wide and close angles
shots. Inaddtion to this I liked the way the camera chases the bike. It
gives the vierwer a sensese that they are in biking in the video. "
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
 There are one or two shots where the camera catches the filimg
apaeratus in the video and you didn’t edit that outs it makes it look
less professioal.

14. PEER FEEDBACK SUMMARY
What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
 I mostly agree with the peer feedback especially that part which has
the part of the gimble in the frame of the shot. This is because the
camera was in super wide angle and they get the gimble in it. In
addtion to this I would like to next time make the gimble follow the
rider more and this would make the film and the video in general
look much better.
What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? The
pier feedback I mainly agree with although there is one
part which I disagree one and that is there not much
happening when the choruse kicks in when I think there
and the rider is building up speed for the net trail.

15. PEER FEEDBACK SUMMARY
I agree with the feedback and in future I will need to crop of the
picture so there isnt any of the gimble in the frame. This will allow
me to have a better overall production quality and make it look more
professional. There are many thigs I could do for example make the
cmaera follow the rider way more and this will help the quality look
better. Alos I need to be much smoother with my cmaera trasitions,
hich will help give the video a more polished feel.
