2. I had no previous experience using Blogger. I used this site to blog and publish
research and planning. I have created an appealing layout to suit my target
audience of teenagers which tie die is a popular style. I have posted all my
planning and blogged things such as soundtrack and costume ideas. I have learnt
to publish and embed links such as my preliminary task within my blog to create
an interactive online experience.
3. I downloaded the free software lightworks. It is a professional level editing program
which has been used to create films such as The Kings Speech, Bruce Almighty and
Pulp Fiction. All of which are huge Hollywood blockbusters. I followed the tutorial
and learnt how to arrange my clips and create a raw footage version to which I
used windows live movie maker to add effects, transitions and titles.
4. I used the editing software Windows Live Movie Maker to add titles and create a
directors commentary using my iPhone memo software to add voiceover. It
allowed me to split scenes and arrange them into my final product. I had previous
knowledge of using windows live movie maker but gained valuable experience into
integrating my voiceover from my iPhone to my final product.
5. I used a Canon digital SLR to film and an Opteka fisheye lens. I have had previous filming
experience so used my knowledge of convential skateboard filming techniques. Also an Opteka X
Grip carry handle for stability when filming. And also used the steady shot feature to ensure
minimal camera shake. I used the macro mode feature to ensure clarity was maximum with my
HD fisheye lens. I recorded the film in 1080p for the best quality and to ensure every detail was
taken into account. For my final product I had studied conventional skate filming techniques on
ridechannel’s popular series how to film skateboarding. I watched a video called How To: Use
Fisheye Lens - Skateboarding Cinematographer Mike Manzoori- In Focus. This gave detailed
knowledge of filming techniques which I utilised within my final product.
