Audience profile:
Our expected target audience would be a
person similar to Jack McCarthy. He’s a 22
year old l banker. He would be the perfect
target audience for out thriller ‘Extinct’ as
he regularly attends the cinema with both his
friends and family. Also our thriller would
stereotypically attract a younger male adult
audience a it will involve action and
physiological drama that would be
inappropriate for a younger audience.
Another reason that a younger adult such as
jack would be an appropriate target audience
for out thriller is the fact that he is more
likely to speak out about our thriller
positively on a social network than someone
of an older age. This means that GPM
productions will gain free promotion and
similar people to Jack whom also have some
disposable income are more likely to go to
the cinema and watch our film.
Stereotypically, people of a similar
age range as Jack, early to mid
20s, have a larger amount of time
to spend on entertainment and
therefore releasing a popular film
among this age group may spark
an interest from them in our
production company and make
them more likely to watch more
GPM production films
