1. How I Attracted / Addressed the Target Audience The film is about secret government information which is being leaked by a female hacker.
2. The political side will appeal to people of about 25+, because they tend to read the newspaper more than younger people and teens, and therefore are more aware of what is currently going on in the world. The current plot of the story will be something people recognize, therefore will be more interested in seeing the film.
3. The appeal for the younger viewers will come from the technology aspect of the film. The fact the lead is a hacker means she will be dealing with a lot of technology, such as computers, which teens will find interesting. In the teenage audience I think that it will be more of an attractive product for boys, because of the chase element and action, and also typically teenage boys play a lot of computer games therefore are familiar with technology.
4. Although thrillers are typically more male films, by using a female as the lead role, the film will appeal to women as well as men. The strong character of the hacker portrays women in a positive, powerful light and this is something women will enjoy. The secondary audience will be the over 30s. This is because whilst they will be up to date and aware of the current affairs, the films violent element may be unappealing to some over 30s, however some will find it enjoyable.
5. The film should attract males and females equally, because there is enough of a quick pace and ‘chase’ element to appeal to males, and by using a female leading role women will relate to her.
