App store feedback
“Users can join in a duet or group song with anyone for free at anytime. But if you want to
start signing a song from popular artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga,
Adele, Maroon 5, or Carrie Underwood, be prepared for an in-app purchase. Most of the 130
songs are $0.99 each.” –AppAdvice
“Love this app! It's perfect for all ages and anybody who likes to sing. Only complaint is that
for quite a few songs you need to use credits to sing them. This wouldn't be a problem,
however credits are very hard to earn unless you buy them.
Apart from the one complaint, this is the best app I have ever downloaded!” –Cheesegal38

“Fun and fancy Very interesting and exciting app, a bit complicated to figure out
but intriguing. Be your own star with you’re own portable music studio” - Tyshona
Williams
“Be a Star This is a fun way to let your skillz rise & your voice be heard! Nice
concept but you should make the search a little easier and more abundant,
besides that it would be nice to download older songz! GREAT APP...” - Clarence
Nickerson
“Needs work Its a really good app its just that it messes up everytime I record so
it doesnt sound right, and it maked me sound super slow motion. The songs keep
skipping like a cd like its scratch. Fix it then you got a five star app.” - Christine
Franco
10. “The user signs up for the app, chooses the
free song/purchases a song/purchases a
membership subscription, starts to sing,
chooses to share his/her singing.”

15. This application is feasible as it is a very simple, yet
ingenious, idea that can be easily made and can
create lots of revenue.
This application relies heavily on the data and content
that we will be using, as it will be copyrighted, which
will make us (the company) under a lot of pressure
from record labels etc. due to the fact that we will be
using their content.
Although, we will be willing to give the artists and the
rightful owners of the songs a share of the revenue
that we will make.

16. Our business model is that we will be selling songs
individually, at 69p each, or allowing the users to
purchase subscriptions:
1 Month of Premium: £2.69 for 12 Songs
3 Months of Premium: £5.99 for 40 Songs
6 Months of Premium: £9.99 for Unlimited Songs.*
We have chosen this business model of selling via
subscriptions due to the fact that it is a successful
model that has been used throughout the industry.
*These prices will be changed, as we get closer to releasing the application,
and to go along with the RPI.

17. We will attempt to get our application to be featured
on various top-lists for applications, and we will send
promotional accounts to various Application
Reviewers and other websites to be reviewed, so that
we will get publicised.
Through this, we will try and create an audience.
We will also make regular promotions or regular
events that provide the user with 2 weeks free
premium etc. Our first customers will be users inside
the school who can then spread the word outside
about the application.
This will most likely be done via social networking
sites, such as Facebook or Twitter.
