11. Festival house style and fonts
Font-within my festival I have chosen a font
from the website DAFONT.COM, I have
particularly chosen the font Prometheus as it
was similar to my festival of inspiration.
Colour scheme-for my festival logo I have chosen the colours blue and black to
feature on the poster and advert as it would link to my festival of Inspiration which is
wireless. I have chosen this particular colours because Wireless festival have also
chosen these colours and I wanted it to look like my festival of inspiration.

from 2016, they have included many
shapes and colour in order to attract
teenagers to the event.
The festival have used different types

Audio-visual advertisement
I could create an audio visual advertisement to broadcast on TV, I am going
to include different music artists and clips of music for example Calvin

the festival on websites, TV and on social media. While I am creating the

22. Key Dates
I am going to be launching my advertisements for both the poster and advert and audio-
visual advertisement on the 21st April. I have chosen this date because it is 3 months
before the festival starts therefore it gives the audience time to tell their friends and
purchase tickets.

•The festival “Sound wave” will be published on the 21th April 2016, I have
chosen this particular date as it is near the summer term and it is not too
busy to buy tickets. I am going to be including the up and coming artists
which I have included on my poster and advert. On the cover of my poster i
have included different types of radio stations for example “Capital” as
they are going to be promoting the festival on the radio.

Before taking images for my Festival, I had to
make sure that I had a location where I will be
able to take these images. I have taken these
images at a friends house, this will also imply
what type of equipment I will need so that I am
able to take them at a suitable quality and it
will also make me aware of any possible
risks/hazards that could happen in the process.
Furthermore, I have taken some images of the
equipment that I will be using within the
process in order to take the images, I used a
digital canon camera, I have used this while
changing the settings each time so that I can
get a better quality image. I am going to be
using Jessica Blundell as the model, I am going
to produce a a release form where I will use it
to gain her permission to take pictures of her. I
am going to be using the software Photoshop

25. Equipment
I have chosen to use a canon camera from John Lewis in order to
take the pictures I wanted to use for the poster and audio-visual
advertisement. The camera is going to cost £1,249.00 as I am

27. Risk Assessment – Form
I completed an industry standard risk assessment form before taking pictures for the festival. I had
to look into what to take, transport, camera and lighting, sound and what the director should use. I
had to do a risk assessment before hand because it will make sure I was protecting myself and the
person I was taking pictures of from any risks or hazards, I have ensured that I have covered all
aspects of risks that could happen.

As I will also make an advert to go inside a magazine of the festival, I am going to put a full

I am going to be producing 750 posters to the public which is going
to cost £120.
33. M2 - Legal and Ethical Constraints
During the making of my poster and advert, I will have to follow some legal and ethical issues
in order for it to come successful. I will firstly have to make sure that I don’t mislead my
advertising products, this would mean that everything that has been published must be
accurate to the audience. This will ensure that I haven't used any incorrect information that
may be considered untrustworthy. Secondly, I will have to make sure that do not use any
offensive or violent language, this would mean that I will have to be professional about what I
have published within the making of the products. Thirdly, I would have to make sure that I
have copyrighted my products so that no other company will be able to access them without
permission. This will demonstrate that the company are professional within the making of the
products. Overall the legal and ethical constraints within the products will help it to become
for professional and to ensure that I am not using any misleading language towards the
audience and also that I am not using any information I have been given without permission.
These steps will therefore able me to create these products in order to promote the festival.
