  • 5.   Hear       Taste     Transition:  Excellent  job!  You  are  prepared  for  the  tasting  activity!     ➢ Development:  10  minutes   Purpose:   Foster   contextualized   practice   of   the   teaching   points.   Focus   on   specific   vocabulary  related  directly  to  the  class  topic.   Materials:  Closed  boxes  containing  different  creamy  food  items  and  displaying  a  picture   on  the  outside  that  does  not  coincide  with  the  flavor  inside.  A  blackboard  and  chalks.       Box  1  displays  the  picture  of  an  apple,  but  contains  a  cup  of  banana  yogurt.   Box  2  displays  a  fish  but  contains  chocolate  pudding.   Box  3  displays  a  cookie  but  contains  a  lemon  scented  cream.     I   give   each   student   a   plastic   spoon   and   they   are   asked   to   go   through   all   3   boxes   in   silence  and  taste  what  is  inside.    Each  student  completes  a  chart  drawing  what  he  or  she   sees  and  what  they  taste.             Aurelia 5/2/17 7:44 AM Comment [4]: You  should  demonstrate   what  they  are  expected  to  do.
