• For my second idea the genre is going to be a horror film. This is due to the
fact that I love horror films so with thoroughly enjoy making one and will
have quite a bit of knowledge about them as I have seen so many.
3. Plot – summary of what will happen
• There will be a girl home alone at night in a house in the forest and she will
be on her phone and weird things will be happening around the house and
then she will get weird messages from an unknown number hinting that the
person who is texting her is watching her and in the house with her. She has
to try and escape the house but she is locked in and has to hide instead or kill
the intruder.
4. Description of a key scene
• The final scene will take place in either a basement or a loft the girl will be
hidden and the intruder will be walking around dragging an axe behind him
ready to kill her with. She will be texting her mum and then he phone turns
to loud and he hears it so she runs and finds a weapon to kill him with.
5. Is there a message or a moral?
• No there is no message behind this story. It is solely for entertainment
purposes.
6. Who are the key characters?
• Teenage girl – about 17 years old, pretty and always on her phone
• Intruder – 21 year old psychopath
• Mother of the daughter – about 50 year old quite selfish, doesn’t include
daughter in her plans.
7. Who is the audience
• Teenagers and young adults as they are stereotypically the main audience for
horror films. This film will only appeal to horror fans though as people who
don’t like horrors or don’t like being scared wont want to watch it.
8. Where might you film the film
• In my house as I wont have a budget and it will be free.
• At a bunker for the final scene as I don’t have a basement in my house so the
bunker will be a good replacement.
