2. Environment.
• Saving water or avoiding using plastic things are
some of the known ways to protect the
environment, but I'd like to introduce other,
maybe unknown to you ways we can also protect
it as well.
Why should we protect the environment?
It's a well-known question, but can anyone
answer it? We should remember to protect
the environment because:
people have already done a lot of harm to
nature (and we are still doing so) and by
destroying nature we harm ourselves most.
our environment is very important for our
mood!

4. Here are a few ways how to
protect the environment:
• use ball deodorants rather
than sprays that contains
freons - in this way we will
slow down the growth of the
ozone hole!
• when sorting waste, crush the
plastic bottles - in this way we
will save the space in the
dustbins and, as a consequence,
in landfills.

5. • pay more attention to the products you
buy, buy organic products.
• use environmentally-friendly cleaning
products.

6. • use recycled paper,
• do not pour paint or solvents into the
sewerage system.

7. Did you know, that...
• a plastic bottle thrown in the forest will
decompose in the ground in 500 years, the
chewing gum will vanish in 5 years.
• an average of 17 trees are needed to be cut
down to produce 1 ton of paper.
• Each reused glass bottle saves the energy
needed to light a 100-watt light bulb for 4
hours. Every day every large city in Poland
sends 100 garbage trucks to a landfill to unload
the waste they collected.
• only about 10% of each landfill can be cleaned
up.
