2. Introduction
• Welcome to our Presentation Everyone.
• What is Recycling? Recycling is a sustainable practice
that conserves resources and reduces waste by
collecting, processing, and transforming used materials
into new products. It has historical roots but has gained
importance due to increased consumption and
environmental concerns. Recycling conserves natural
resources, reduces energy consumption, and minimizes
landfill usage. It fosters economic growth by creating jobs
and promoting eco-friendly industries. It raises public
awareness about sustainable living and responsible
consumption.
3. Relevance of recycling habits
• The relevance of recycling habits is super important in today's world. Like,
seriously, you can't even imagine how much it matters! Here's why:
• Saving Our Planet: So, like, the Earth is our home, right? Recycling helps keep it in good shape.
When we recycle stuff, we use less of the Earth's resources, like trees and metals, which is a big deal
for the environment.
• Less Trash Everywhere: Nobody likes trash piling up everywhere. When we recycle, we make less
trash, and that's a win-win. It means we don't have to deal with overflowing landfills and less pollution.
• Helping Wildlife: Recycling isn't just about us humans; it's about all the creatures too. When we
recycle, we're kind of helping them out by reducing habitat destruction and pollution that hurts wildlife.
• Policy Development: Policies are like the recycling rulebook. They set the standards and goals for
recycling. Good policies make recycling easier and encourage more people to do it. So, policy
development is like our roadmap to a greener future, making sure recycling is a top priority and
helping save the planet. 🌍📜💚
4. Target Population and the reason
• Our target population was adults between 30 – 50
years.
• We decided to focus on adults aged 30 to 50 as our target
group because, well, they've got some serious life
experience under their belts. I mean, they've been around
the block, right? They've seen and learned a lot, and that
can be super helpful for what we're doing. So, we're tapping
into their wisdom and insights to make our research/project
even better. 🌟😊
• As in the pie chart, I have provided the percentages of male
and female that have done the survey: Male: 70%, female:
30%
5. In-This Presentation
