I used a metal ruler, Tri Square, pencil, pinewood, bench hook, bench vice, and a tenon saw. It was hard to cut. I had to use lots of energy to cut the wooden block. I had to first make a little grid and then start to cut. When we finish cutting the block, we had to cut out the doorstop shape but I didn’t have time because the cutting of the block took a lot of time.
91440014224001371600142240
262890027940
,
Measuring with a Tri-SquareMeasuring and marking with a ruler.Cutting the wood with a tenon saw.Cutting the wood with a cross cut sawMe wearing an apron to protect my body.
The next day is, cutting the shape out. My shape is a key. I got really happy because I could make something by myself. The AOI is human ingenuity and health and social education. It is human ingenuity because we uses out body by our self. It is health and social education because the aprons and the goggles were protecting our body. I was a risk taker, reflective and a thinker. This was because it was the first time that I used a saw to cut a wood by myself. I was a thinker because I was thinking and measuring out the distances of the wood. I was reflective because I write process journals.
