This weekly newsletter from a kindergarten classroom provides updates on what the students learned that week and information about upcoming lessons and reminders. The students learned about the short vowel sound /o/ in reading, practiced printing uppercase and lowercase O, and sequenced story events from The Polar Express. In math, they ordered numbers 0-10 and identified missing numbers. The newsletter also discusses upcoming lessons in January and provides reminders about returning rest items after the holidays and practicing noted skills over the break.

Reading
The reading homework bags have a book inside.
One day it is a book we have read together and
discussed. The other day it is a self-selected book at
their level.
