This document outlines photography plans for various photos needed for a magazine cover and contents pages. It provides details on the models, shots, angles, costumes, props and locations for each photo. The main cover photo and first content photo will feature a female model in a purple dress, while other photos include two models of different genders in relationship or music industry themes to intrigue readers. Photos are intended for the cover, double-page spread, and future issue previews to promote content and attract buyers.

The first third of the picture is plain and this is where I am going to put
cover lines and pictures to give the viewers an incite into what is inside
my magazine. At the top of the magazine above the girls head I will put
the title of my magazine and also the edition. On the left of the girl I’m
going to have a plug and another cover line. At the bottom there is going
to be a barcode and a Twitter and Facebook app so this intrigues my
audience and they know that they can get information from social media
platforms as well as buying the paper copy.

On the front of the cover of the magazine I’m going to have
3 smaller pictures to show the reader an incite into what is
inside the magazine. The picture will sit along side a cover
line which will tell the audience what the picture is about.
This picture is going to be the same girl as the one for my
main front cover apart from she’s going to be posing in a
different way.
4. Double page spread photo
• Model – Female, 16-18
• Shot- Long shot
• Angle- Straight on
Mise En Scene:
• Costume- A dress with purple in it
• Props- none
• Location- studio
This shot is going to be featured on the double page spread of my
magazine, this is because it is quite posey and your attention is
immediately grabbed by the way that the girl is sitting. I think this
will be a good idea for my magazine because it will cover one side of
the double page spread so that I have the other page to write an
exclusive interview, as this is what my readers in the survey said they
wanted.
5. Content Page Photo
• Model – Female and Male, 16-18
• Shot- Medium Close up/Long
shot
• Angle- Straight on
Mise En Scene:
• Costume- Female to wear a
blouse and male to wear a
checked jacket.
• Props- none
• Location- studio
Because I am planning to intrigue my readers I decided to
include a picture of two people in a relationship with loads
of juicy gossip about how to keep your relationship alive. I
am also making sure that these 2 people are in the music
industry and they can talk about how they make music
together and what it’s like to compete against the one you
love. This will hopefully interest my readers and make
them want to pick up my magazine.
6. Content Page Photo

coloured jacket, another to wear a

This picture is one I am going to use for next issues magazine, this will
intrigue my audience and allow them to have a glimpse of what is coming
on next weeks magazine, it may also interest them because they can decide
whether or not they want to buy the magazine and if they do they can find
out when it comes out. The reason I want the girls to be stood in this
position is because it is quite relaxed and laid back, it looks natural.
