2. Similarities
• The similarities in the picture are the fact that both models
have a blank facial expression showing independence and
strength.
• Another similarity between the two pictures is the tint on
both images showing the contrast of the colours which are
both black and white.
• The costume of the two models as well is similar because they
are not really dressed up but they look casual, which is a
popular approach with this genre of magazine.
• The hair is also another big similarity with the two pictures
because both models use there hair as a prop to use. For
example the model on the let has it over her shoulders which
fills space and the model on the right has it hanging to the
right.

3. Differences
• A difference between the models is the body language of
both of the models, this is because the model on the right
looks rather shy whereas the model on the right looks very
comfortable. I changed this because I wanted it to be a rather
bold image that would gain the attention of my target
audience.
• The shot type is also different because the model on the left is
a long shot showing her whole body language, whereas the
model that is on the right is a mid shot from waist upwards.
The reasoning behind this change was to show more body
language and make a better image.

4. How is my model Represented
My model is represented to look
independent, strong and a person that
the target audience can relate to and
gives the impression that anyone is
able to become a famous musician. I
portrayed this with the clothing that my
model is wearing which is really casual
and will make a connection with the
audience which are both male and
female.
