Technology Standards
The first technology standard relating to the outsourcing of the software writing would be the Base Operating System. The two teams must decide
on a base OS to be used. This will allow for easier sharing, troubleshooting, and future support of the product. This need for this standard is because
most programing software packages offer solutions for Windows, Linux, Unix, MAC. The issue arises if one team is using one OS platform and the
other is using another, even if they are using the same application to write the code there may be differences which could cause problems in future bug
fixes.
The idea of a standard platform goes beyond the writing suite and extends into all expects of the work. This primary standard will be a basis for all
other applications chosen by the company from email to collaboration.
The Second concern would be the level of encryption for the SSL VPN. The level indicated by the India group is very poor and considered unsecure
by most measures. The ability to break the encryption is much easier with the lower bit encryption used. Both teams need to agree on a minimum
encryption to use that would be both secure enough to ensure that data is not compermised but yet not so intrusive to the data that causes lag in

Frequency Response Characteristics of a System
In a research article [9], the frequency response characteristics of the system can be altered when the harmonic distortion levels are not within the
acceptable limits through changing sizes or locations of the capacitor, by changing source characteristics, or by design a harmonic filter. Filters are the
most common solution as it can provide reactive power support at the fundamental frequency and a low impedance path for one or more harmonic
current components to flow. The filter elements must be specifically designed to withstand the harmonic components along with the fundamental
frequency voltages and currents. Common method for filter design is by utilizing one single–tuned shunt filter first, designed for the lowest generated
harmonic (typically 5th) and it is advisable to use capacitors with a higher voltage rating than the system. Determine the voltage distortion level at the
bus. The commonly applied limit of 5% (total harmonic distortion – THD) was presented in IEEE Standard 519–1981. If required, determine if the
harmonic current levels meet IEEE Standard 519–1992. If not, there may be a need for multiple filters (i.e., 5th and 7th). Vary the filter elements
according to the specified tolerances and check its effectiveness. Lastly, by checking the frequency response characteristic to verify that the newly
created parallel resonance is not close to a generated harmonic frequency (i.e., the 7th harmonic filter may create a new 5th harmonic resonance). The

RECEIVER SECTION:– This section is worked as a Flip–flop (Bistable). IC–3 is decade counter, its Pin No.14 is input and Pin No. 2 output. The
output of frequency detector stage is used, via a flip–flop, to switch 'ON' or switch 'OFF' a LED alternately. The receiver uses infrared modules
IR–signal from the transmitter is sensed by the sensor through and its output PIN 1 goes low and switched LED. IC–3 is worked on clock pulse which
receives to infrared modules at Pin No. 14. Its output at Pin No 2 throughes high. The output of IC–2 is also used for lighting LED–1 indicating
presence of signal. When no signal is available output of sensor module goes high and transistor LED is switched 'OFF'. When another signal arrives,
LED is switched 'ON' and through clock pulse at Pin No. 14 of IC–3. This makes the LED to switch 'ON' the appliance at first pulse and 'OFF' the
appliance at its Second pulse arrived at its sensor. Transmitter circuits works satisfactorily with 6–9V DC. Battery but receiver circuits needs 6V
regulated supply. The CAMD CM8870/70C provides full DTMF receiver capability by integrating both the band–split filter and digital decoder
functions into a single 18–pin DIP, SOIC,or 20–pin PLCC package. The CM8870/70C is manufactured using state–of–the–art CMOS process

not switched off, it remains on back–up mode. After the end of back–up time, system switches off automatically, due to activation of battery's deep

controllers. Very few of the navigation aids available for visually challenged people can provide dynamic navigation and which work perfectly for
day to day navigation requirements (The white cane and walk dogs are not safe for today's increasing traffic and insensitive world). This model here
demonstrates a system concept to provide an electronic aid for blind people which would benefit the challenged person for his daily travelling,
whether it be indoors or outdoors. The aim of system is to provide a sense of artificial vision by alerting the subject about the environmental scenario of
static and dynamic objects around them. In this system, an ultrasonic sensor, an atmega16 controller, a buzzer and a vibration motor is used.

equipment, but it would be useful in demonstrating concepts. The current lab equipment is great for school, but if students have a need to use the
equipment at home such as to finish labs, learn more, or just hobby use, they are left without an inexpensive alternative with the equipment currently on
the market. Our solution was to address these issues with our project which we named "Lab In A Box." This would allow students to have a portable
oscilloscope, power supply, and function generator at a greatly reduced cost. The labs performed usually only requires low bandwidth and low
