Lithuanian zeppelins are one of the most popular dishes of Lithuanian cuisine. They are potato dumplings stuffed with minced meat and formed into an oblong shape. To make them, grated and boiled potatoes are mixed with potato flour and formed into balls. Filling is made from minced meat, onion, salt and pepper. The potato balls are flattened, stuffed, and shaped into zeppelins which are boiled for 20-25 minutes before serving. Traditionally they are served poured with cream.
