Aim:
• To redistribute excess food to the
needy in Singapore
• Bridge potential donors and members
• Provide access to and knowledge of
cheaper food source for members.
• Look at ways to reduce food shortage
• Spread words of importance of food
resource to ensure long-term
providence of food
Problems faced
• She could not register their name as
Singapore didn’t want to issue
banking license.
• When she started, food companies
are very protective of their brand
name and would rather give cheque
than donating their food.
• They received a lot of hate comments
and hostile comments accusing them
of giving the dirty disgusting foods
to the needy.
