This shows that the band’s image is very important for the audience and the lyrics of the song appeal to the female community. Continued The lyrics of our song appeal to our target audience as it discusses difficult moments in life and what the lead singer is feeling which will appeal to them as their main audience is young women. A narrative/performance video suits this song the best as you can interpret the lyrics in many different ways which means that you can make the narrative about different issues. The performance aspect would also be important as it will meet the needs of their target audience due to the fact that it will show the band and will advertise their image to appeal to the female members of their target audience. Also, the fact that there are many close-ups of the band mean that this type of video would meet the needs of their record label because it will be enticing more people to buy their music based on their image as well as their music.
