Introduction
Project differ from one organization to another.
There are periods when an organization uses a project for
special functions.
There are those which use projects as part of an integrated
business platform and architecture.
Therefore, for a successful implementation of a project:
Human resources
Equipment and materials
Financial resources and facilities
2
Why are scheduling and cost control important for project
success?
These are a closely related concept for project management.
The importance of scheduling and cost control include:
Efficiency in project management (Kerzner, 2015).
Profitability through ensuring good resources allocation and
utilization
Satisfying consumer needs and meeting delivery timelines
(Rosli, Haziq, 2017).
They are core aspect of project planning to meet project costs.
Scheduling and cost control are essential for project success.
Based on Rosli, Haziq (2017), project budgeting helps in
determining the necessary and needed resources to effectively
manage a project. It is important to consider the process and
affiliation in consideration to performance issues and resources.
It is also important to effectively improve and coordinate the
different processes of budgeting such as constraints of costs to a
project. Rosli, Haziq (2017), further argues the process of
managing cost and budgets will either influence the success and
failure of a project. Therefore, for a successful project, a timely
performance of a project team will determine the ability to meet
the set timelines and quantifiably improve and meet the
necessary demands of a project. All these imply to the concept
of a project success measurement in terms delivery of the
needed and necessary deliverables. Covering all the necessary
deliverables at the right time and within the needed framework,
helps to improve and meet the necessary demands of the project
stakeholders.
It is also important to understand the necessary project
lifecycles and how each lifecycle impacts a project development
differently. Therefore, it is important for project managers to
understand the process of project management and how to
effectively develop the necessary process implementation to
ensure successful implementation of a project. As a manager,
one should always possess good communication skills to
improve and increase communication plans for the project team
and overall communication with the stakeholders. Good
communication plans will help the project team to identify the
necessary project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource
allocation, keep track of project changes and project progress.
The importance of project scheduling is to ensure there is a
control for project success and meeting the needed successful
projections based on evaluations and plans. It is also ideally a
complete concept to ensure there is a considerable performance
to help, develop and increase effective control of schedule and
project cost.
3
Who should be in control of the scheduling and cost control
process?
There are different projects which can be controlled by different
actors.
There is the project manager working closely with the project
team to oversee the budget allocations (Kerzner, 2015).
There are also business analysts and who will work closely with
stakeholders in overseeing project actions (Rosli, Haziq, 2017).
There is also stakeholders who have the ability for an effective
planning and realization of project demands and needs.
Project managers need to develop different processes such as
scheduling to align to operational and project needs. The
importance of meeting scheduling will help to use the general
resources such as organization, planning and improving overall
scheduling of a project. The utilization of project scheduling
tools can be used to develop scheduling tasks and timelines.
This is essential since it will also indicate all the necessary
resources such as costs, timelines, resource constraints and
monitoring the project deliverables through charts and planning.
It is important and clear to apply cost controls to fully realize
the planning and resource scheduling of a project to meet the
expectations of a project. Therefore, project managers and
business analysts will have to develop resources and fully
increase and plan on operational effectiveness. There is also the
nature to employ business analysis in eh project planning. They
will be able to monitor the progress and develop feedback.
4
Schedule and Cost Process Planning
What are the major provisions of your plan?
The processes one could implement to control and plan on
scheduling and cost include:
Determine the project budget and deliverables
Conduct risk assessment due to delays
Conduct performance reviews (Kerzner, 2015).
Measure budget against deliverables
Conduct and measure continuous reports for the project
Develop change control processes and review any change
requests
There is the need of understanding what one needs to develop to
choose a given scheduling process and cost controls. It becomes
hard to develop a reasonable presentation or outcome needed if
a project manager does not understand the process of producing
a given product or allocating a given resource. It is also
important and equally ideal in managing the necessary project
processes and schedule and cost planning. A project manager
applying the necessary processes will help in improving and
meeting the expectations of a company. For instance, if a
project manager wanted to create a reasonable project work
breakdown structure. It is also important to choose the top down
approach for identifying and meeting the constraints of the
project. A project manager should understand the functions and
applications of project management tools for project scheduling
and cost realization. It will be challenging if a wrong processes
was used in evaluating project costs and schedules.
5
Schedule and Cost Process Planning
How difficult would it be to implement your plan?
The planning and estimation on the project budget and progress
will hinder control.
The difficult in controlling change requests and keeping the
project progress grounded (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).
Why?
Challenges due to communication, human resource planning and
budge constraints affecting performance.
There are a number of project managing processes which are
essential in offering a logical description and formatting of
critical information for planning. These processes require a
detailed organization, planning and control of activities in the
project development and resource planning. For instance,
organizations or stakeholders will consider using their own
project appraising methods which will defer from the project
manager’s culture and philosophy.
It is also important to use skilled personnel with experience in
project planning, budgeting and allocation of resources.
Reporting is also another processes to use for communication
and either presentation of information during planning and
controlling project scheduling. Therefore, to ensure there is a
control for project planning a skilled manager will employ
technology, good communication processes and this will
consider the redevelopment and configuration of a good project
development processes. The application of different resources
to fully understand how to process and use the cost budgeting
methods sparingly.
6
Benefits of Implementing these Processes to your Organization
How will your plan positively affect the project?
The plan will offer a process for re-evaluating the project
planning processes.
It will positively impact the organization’s project:
Budget planning and future project management
Will ensure a positive project quality assurance (Kerzner &
Kerzner, 2017).
Development of methods for planning and controlling project
performance
Finally, an essential of focusing on project communication and
progress development.
Successful delivery of the project will rely with the planning
and operational management of the project team. There is the
need of taking into consideration, the budget planning. This will
evaluate the importance of controlling project resource
allocation, utilization and financial development. To ensure a
proper control of the project development, there is the need for
ensuring a productive performance especially through leading
and increasing project performance and creativity. The
development of qualified personnel will ensure a productive
staffing structure will also be taken into consideration. More so,
it will consider a platform for managing quality assurance.
Quality will effectively impact how the project considers
performance and project allocation. Quality assurance is
important and essential to improve and manage its processes.
There is the need of focusing on quality management and
controlling the different aspects of quality to meet the
expectations of project stakeholders. It is important and
essential to highlight and improve the necessary processes for
achieving quality.
7
Benefits of Implementing these Processes to your Organization
What could happen if an effective scheduling and cost control
plan were ignored?
Poor allocation of the project resources, and financial planning
Poor project control and unsuccessful delivery of the project
deliverables
Lack of an effective project progress reporting (Kerzner &
Kerzner, 2017).
An ineffective system for project quality assurance, planning
and delivery.
This will also impact the ability to develop value for its
stakeholders and consumers.
The use of a project manager, who could supervise and initiate
stable communication with the stakeholders. The project could
have reduced the design and costs estimates failures by
developing a proper project feasibility study and fully develop
development designs. Development of a positive communication
between the stakeholders is also through effective
communication and to achieve this the company needs to
develop project control. Quality assurance and delivery of a
project is a measure to evaluate the necessary processes and
activities critical to a successful project management. A project
success focuses on the role and importance of managing project
quality. The lack of an essential measure for progress,
performance and productivity through cost evaluations will
reduce and hinder positive integration. Therefore, without an
effective incorporation of effective scheduling and cost
planning the organization will incur losses and this will impact
project successful implementation. As a result, this will reduce
value proposition for the organization.

Introduction
The coordination of project management models helps in
planning project and realizing the needed goals.
Project management aims to improve manage project activities
and processes for a successful project.
To ensure a collaboration on activities and processes in the
email upgrade system:
Waterfall or traditional management model
Critical path methodology
Considering the essential opportunity of upgrading an e-mail
system develops a productive performance based market
practices. There is the need of developing an upgrade to the
existing e-mail system used by the department in management
of employees and agency services. The focus is to improve the
reliability and availability of the agency’s e-mail system with a
new upgrades. The department seeks to upgrade its e-mail
system to improve communication and be available for service
(Kerzner, 2013). This is a crucial problem that the company
needs to address by upgrading the email system. The project
management also needs to develop and fully understand the
process of plotting the project resources. It is also essential to
help in fixing and implementing the needs and creative
allocation for processes and functional performance. The
importance of project management is to ensure allocation of
resources. This will help to provide, engage and support
organizational performance.
2
Value to the Project Manager
Water fall Methodology
Tasks will be done and accomplished in a logical manner and
methodology or process.
Project stakeholders have to extensively engage each other and
this will help in offering services and track of progress (Burke,
2013).
All task processes need to be accomplished in a sequential
manner.
Waterfall model offers a critical path to the development of
processes in a logical and sequential manner. Every task needs
to be considered before the next task can be completed. This
helps to reduce and improve the performance, management and
overall resource planning. It is the logical solution, offering and
process generation which helps in the sorting and managerial of
ideal concepts. There is also the need for extensively using and
developing the foundation to engage the stakeholders. The
process is to engage and develop processes such as managing,
developing and improving the social maintenance and planning.
Gaining the development will eventually increase, develop and
improve the social planning of an organization. Stakeholder
includes development team, the team from business organization
and management of the project in terms of budgeting and
planning. Therefore, the waterfall system of management
considers the necessary step by step organization. This will help
in focusing, developing and finishing on the project planned.
3
Project Settings for Use
Waterfall Model
This is ideal in the development of software model or upgrading
systems which rely on one another.
The model is a legacy for the approach into the simple and not
complex projects in the software world (Kerzner, 2013).
It takes into consideration of the smaller tasks involved in
project management especially in software development.
Waterfall model is a legacy system which can only be applied
into the software development processes. This hinders the range
and applications in which the processes can be used and
developed effectively to reduce, promote, and increase
operational effectiveness. There are also potential features,
processes and how to fully engage in the production,
performance and operational creation of process mapping.
Developing these features will help in sorting, development and
overall recognition. It is a process to ensure the phase of the
software system development are met. To solve the different
challenges in the modern interoperability to software and
product development is difficult which reduces the ability for an
effective social development. There is also the process to
ensure, meet and improve the differences such as planning,
creative allocation and improved attention from all
stakeholders. The field of programming is large and wide and it
is a challenge to ensure we met and develop to improve and
engage the social expectations.
4
Is It Ideal for the Project?
Waterfall Model
Waterfall model offers a logical processes covering:
Project initiation phase
Project design
Project testing
Project implementation (Kerzner, 2013).
These processes will be vital in the implementation on the
email-upgrading systems.
But it won’t ascertain on the recent risk of software
development.
Waterfall model is only important and essential for meeting the
processed and progress in terms of performance. It has four
main phases. There is the projection gathering, initiation and
analysis phase. This will deal with gathering on the system and
user needs. This will be critical for the process gathering and
how to fully improve system design and functionality. There is
also the system design which is able to fully implement and
meet the necessary needs such as implementation, planning and
sorting out the general expectations of a system. Using the
ideas, concepts and proper planning, it is also possible to use,
develop and improve on the performance such as designing the
system and meeting the social needs of a process. Consider
creating, planning and generation of potential management to
ensure, develop and improve the nature, processes and
organizational performance. System management for waterfall
system is to help, develop and demonstrate its processes.
5
Value to the Project Manager
Critical Path Methodology
Critical path methodology focuses on the critical stages and
stages of a project.
Indicates the shortest possible ways for conducting and working
out the necessary processes of any given task (Kelley, &
Walker, 1959).
It also assigns resources to ensure the processes, tasks and
resource management is fully developed and covered.
The critical path method in project management is all about the
presentation of a critical processes and stages of a project. It
outlines the detailed information of a project while developing
different critical resources and processes critical to the
performance and applications critical the developed of a project.
The critical path indicates the shortest possible ways of
completing a project no matter if the given projects’ stages are
long and will ultimately end at the possible end of the project
(Nafkha & Wiliński, 2016). This helps to address the processes
and ways to achieve the needed functionality. It is also
important to consider on how to effectively compare, develop
and improve resources supporting the overall generation and
considerations. It is the budget approach which develops the
essentials of the project to meet agile expectations. It is a
creative approach to meet and improve the resources such as
planning and accessing operational performance.
6
Project Settings for Use
Critical Path Methodology
The applications of the critical path methodology is in the
project appraisals and performance.
It is also an effective methodology to ensure processes and
projects are aligned to meet the expectations of a project
(Kelley, & Walker, 1959).
It can also be applied in effective budgeting to ensure project
meets the ideal budgeting techniques.
There is the need of project management techniques to help in
meeting the expectations of a project. Managing software
processes will require a constant performance and stakeholder
performance, hence, it is ideal and important to effectively
increase operational effectiveness and scheduling of a software
to meet the needs of a project planning process. Taking into
consideration, the project of developing an email upgrade
system, critical path will help by taking into considerations the
necessary steps and processes to a low breakdown processes by
indicating the time framing of starting and finishing the project
tasks, which is project scheduling. More importantly, it will be
essential in mapping and fully finishing the necessary plans
such as project evaluation techniques by scheduling the project
processes, creating time frames, allocating resources and
indicating the possible changes in managing project changes.
7
Ideal for the Project
Critical Path Methodology
The critical methodology is a process to ensure the project
meets the necessary budget allocations.
The processes are also essential for targeting the final outcome
of any given project (Kerzner, 2013).
It also favors the conditions for project initiation to the
planning to define the project outcomes.
Critical path will break the processes into a small tasks and
these events will help in the development for project processes.
Mapping the task will help in the cogeneration from resource
allocations to different processes, these stages are transferred
into network diagrams and it is essential to indicate the
necessary steps in completing a project. For instance, in
software development, there is the need of developing different
project methodologies to effectively design a software product.
The critical path will identify the most identical and clear ideas
such as planning to meet the requirement specifications. The
critical path method, in form of network diagram, it will
identify the critical processes and ideally develop a structured
plan for accomplishing the steps and the shortest path possible
for completing the project (Nafkha & Wiliński, 2016). The
critical path method’s main is to reduce bottlenecks in project
and time framing for different processes in project management.
It can be used for quality management and ensuring there is a
focus on achieving focus and performance.

Scheduling and Cost ControlChristopher MihunPM620-1801B-01.docx

  • 1. Scheduling and Cost Control Christopher Mihun PM620-1801B-01 Professor Borodin Introduction Project differ from one organization to another. There are periods when an organization uses a project for special functions. There are those which use projects as part of an integrated business platform and architecture. Therefore, for a successful implementation of a project: Human resources Equipment and materials Financial resources and facilities 2 Why are scheduling and cost control important for project success? These are a closely related concept for project management. The importance of scheduling and cost control include: Efficiency in project management (Kerzner, 2015). Profitability through ensuring good resources allocation and utilization Satisfying consumer needs and meeting delivery timelines (Rosli, Haziq, 2017). They are core aspect of project planning to meet project costs. Scheduling and cost control are essential for project success.
  • 2. Based on Rosli, Haziq (2017), project budgeting helps in determining the necessary and needed resources to effectively manage a project. It is important to consider the process and affiliation in consideration to performance issues and resources. It is also important to effectively improve and coordinate the different processes of budgeting such as constraints of costs to a project. Rosli, Haziq (2017), further argues the process of managing cost and budgets will either influence the success and failure of a project. Therefore, for a successful project, a timely performance of a project team will determine the ability to meet the set timelines and quantifiably improve and meet the necessary demands of a project. All these imply to the concept of a project success measurement in terms delivery of the needed and necessary deliverables. Covering all the necessary deliverables at the right time and within the needed framework, helps to improve and meet the necessary demands of the project stakeholders. It is also important to understand the necessary project lifecycles and how each lifecycle impacts a project development differently. Therefore, it is important for project managers to understand the process of project management and how to effectively develop the necessary process implementation to ensure successful implementation of a project. As a manager, one should always possess good communication skills to improve and increase communication plans for the project team and overall communication with the stakeholders. Good communication plans will help the project team to identify the necessary project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation, keep track of project changes and project progress. The importance of project scheduling is to ensure there is a control for project success and meeting the needed successful projections based on evaluations and plans. It is also ideally a
  • 3. complete concept to ensure there is a considerable performance to help, develop and increase effective control of schedule and project cost. 3 Who should be in control of the scheduling and cost control process? There are different projects which can be controlled by different actors. There is the project manager working closely with the project team to oversee the budget allocations (Kerzner, 2015). There are also business analysts and who will work closely with stakeholders in overseeing project actions (Rosli, Haziq, 2017). There is also stakeholders who have the ability for an effective planning and realization of project demands and needs. Project managers need to develop different processes such as scheduling to align to operational and project needs. The importance of meeting scheduling will help to use the general resources such as organization, planning and improving overall scheduling of a project. The utilization of project scheduling tools can be used to develop scheduling tasks and timelines. This is essential since it will also indicate all the necessary resources such as costs, timelines, resource constraints and monitoring the project deliverables through charts and planning. It is important and clear to apply cost controls to fully realize the planning and resource scheduling of a project to meet the expectations of a project. Therefore, project managers and business analysts will have to develop resources and fully increase and plan on operational effectiveness. There is also the nature to employ business analysis in eh project planning. They will be able to monitor the progress and develop feedback.
  • 4. 4 Schedule and Cost Process Planning What are the major provisions of your plan? The processes one could implement to control and plan on scheduling and cost include: Determine the project budget and deliverables Conduct risk assessment due to delays Conduct performance reviews (Kerzner, 2015). Measure budget against deliverables Conduct and measure continuous reports for the project Develop change control processes and review any change requests There is the need of understanding what one needs to develop to choose a given scheduling process and cost controls. It becomes hard to develop a reasonable presentation or outcome needed if a project manager does not understand the process of producing a given product or allocating a given resource. It is also important and equally ideal in managing the necessary project processes and schedule and cost planning. A project manager applying the necessary processes will help in improving and meeting the expectations of a company. For instance, if a project manager wanted to create a reasonable project work breakdown structure. It is also important to choose the top down approach for identifying and meeting the constraints of the project. A project manager should understand the functions and applications of project management tools for project scheduling and cost realization. It will be challenging if a wrong processes was used in evaluating project costs and schedules. 5
  • 5. Schedule and Cost Process Planning How difficult would it be to implement your plan? The planning and estimation on the project budget and progress will hinder control. The difficult in controlling change requests and keeping the project progress grounded (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). Why? Challenges due to communication, human resource planning and budge constraints affecting performance. There are a number of project managing processes which are essential in offering a logical description and formatting of critical information for planning. These processes require a detailed organization, planning and control of activities in the project development and resource planning. For instance, organizations or stakeholders will consider using their own project appraising methods which will defer from the project manager’s culture and philosophy. It is also important to use skilled personnel with experience in project planning, budgeting and allocation of resources. Reporting is also another processes to use for communication and either presentation of information during planning and controlling project scheduling. Therefore, to ensure there is a control for project planning a skilled manager will employ technology, good communication processes and this will consider the redevelopment and configuration of a good project development processes. The application of different resources to fully understand how to process and use the cost budgeting methods sparingly. 6 Benefits of Implementing these Processes to your Organization How will your plan positively affect the project?
  • 6. The plan will offer a process for re-evaluating the project planning processes. It will positively impact the organization’s project: Budget planning and future project management Will ensure a positive project quality assurance (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). Development of methods for planning and controlling project performance Finally, an essential of focusing on project communication and progress development. Successful delivery of the project will rely with the planning and operational management of the project team. There is the need of taking into consideration, the budget planning. This will evaluate the importance of controlling project resource allocation, utilization and financial development. To ensure a proper control of the project development, there is the need for ensuring a productive performance especially through leading and increasing project performance and creativity. The development of qualified personnel will ensure a productive staffing structure will also be taken into consideration. More so, it will consider a platform for managing quality assurance. Quality will effectively impact how the project considers performance and project allocation. Quality assurance is important and essential to improve and manage its processes. There is the need of focusing on quality management and controlling the different aspects of quality to meet the expectations of project stakeholders. It is important and essential to highlight and improve the necessary processes for achieving quality. 7 Benefits of Implementing these Processes to your Organization What could happen if an effective scheduling and cost control
  • 7. plan were ignored? Poor allocation of the project resources, and financial planning Poor project control and unsuccessful delivery of the project deliverables Lack of an effective project progress reporting (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). An ineffective system for project quality assurance, planning and delivery. This will also impact the ability to develop value for its stakeholders and consumers. The use of a project manager, who could supervise and initiate stable communication with the stakeholders. The project could have reduced the design and costs estimates failures by developing a proper project feasibility study and fully develop development designs. Development of a positive communication between the stakeholders is also through effective communication and to achieve this the company needs to develop project control. Quality assurance and delivery of a project is a measure to evaluate the necessary processes and activities critical to a successful project management. A project success focuses on the role and importance of managing project quality. The lack of an essential measure for progress, performance and productivity through cost evaluations will reduce and hinder positive integration. Therefore, without an effective incorporation of effective scheduling and cost planning the organization will incur losses and this will impact project successful implementation. As a result, this will reduce value proposition for the organization. 8 References Kerzner, H. (2015). Project management 2.0: leveraging tools,

Project Management Methodologies Christopher Mihun PM620-1801B-01 Professor Borodin Introduction The coordination of project management models helps in planning project and realizing the needed goals. Project management aims to improve manage project activities and processes for a successful project. To ensure a collaboration on activities and processes in the email upgrade system: Waterfall or traditional management model Critical path methodology
  • 9. Considering the essential opportunity of upgrading an e-mail system develops a productive performance based market practices. There is the need of developing an upgrade to the existing e-mail system used by the department in management of employees and agency services. The focus is to improve the reliability and availability of the agency’s e-mail system with a new upgrades. The department seeks to upgrade its e-mail system to improve communication and be available for service (Kerzner, 2013). This is a crucial problem that the company needs to address by upgrading the email system. The project management also needs to develop and fully understand the process of plotting the project resources. It is also essential to help in fixing and implementing the needs and creative allocation for processes and functional performance. The importance of project management is to ensure allocation of resources. This will help to provide, engage and support organizational performance. 2 Value to the Project Manager Water fall Methodology Tasks will be done and accomplished in a logical manner and methodology or process. Project stakeholders have to extensively engage each other and this will help in offering services and track of progress (Burke, 2013). All task processes need to be accomplished in a sequential manner. Waterfall model offers a critical path to the development of processes in a logical and sequential manner. Every task needs to be considered before the next task can be completed. This helps to reduce and improve the performance, management and overall resource planning. It is the logical solution, offering and
  • 10. process generation which helps in the sorting and managerial of ideal concepts. There is also the need for extensively using and developing the foundation to engage the stakeholders. The process is to engage and develop processes such as managing, developing and improving the social maintenance and planning. Gaining the development will eventually increase, develop and improve the social planning of an organization. Stakeholder includes development team, the team from business organization and management of the project in terms of budgeting and planning. Therefore, the waterfall system of management considers the necessary step by step organization. This will help in focusing, developing and finishing on the project planned. 3 Project Settings for Use Waterfall Model This is ideal in the development of software model or upgrading systems which rely on one another. The model is a legacy for the approach into the simple and not complex projects in the software world (Kerzner, 2013). It takes into consideration of the smaller tasks involved in project management especially in software development. Waterfall model is a legacy system which can only be applied into the software development processes. This hinders the range and applications in which the processes can be used and developed effectively to reduce, promote, and increase operational effectiveness. There are also potential features, processes and how to fully engage in the production, performance and operational creation of process mapping. Developing these features will help in sorting, development and overall recognition. It is a process to ensure the phase of the software system development are met. To solve the different challenges in the modern interoperability to software and
  • 11. product development is difficult which reduces the ability for an effective social development. There is also the process to ensure, meet and improve the differences such as planning, creative allocation and improved attention from all stakeholders. The field of programming is large and wide and it is a challenge to ensure we met and develop to improve and engage the social expectations. 4 Is It Ideal for the Project? Waterfall Model Waterfall model offers a logical processes covering: Project initiation phase Project design Project testing Project implementation (Kerzner, 2013). These processes will be vital in the implementation on the email-upgrading systems. But it won’t ascertain on the recent risk of software development. Waterfall model is only important and essential for meeting the processed and progress in terms of performance. It has four main phases. There is the projection gathering, initiation and analysis phase. This will deal with gathering on the system and user needs. This will be critical for the process gathering and how to fully improve system design and functionality. There is also the system design which is able to fully implement and meet the necessary needs such as implementation, planning and sorting out the general expectations of a system. Using the ideas, concepts and proper planning, it is also possible to use, develop and improve on the performance such as designing the system and meeting the social needs of a process. Consider creating, planning and generation of potential management to
  • 12. ensure, develop and improve the nature, processes and organizational performance. System management for waterfall system is to help, develop and demonstrate its processes. 5 Value to the Project Manager Critical Path Methodology Critical path methodology focuses on the critical stages and stages of a project. Indicates the shortest possible ways for conducting and working out the necessary processes of any given task (Kelley, & Walker, 1959). It also assigns resources to ensure the processes, tasks and resource management is fully developed and covered. The critical path method in project management is all about the presentation of a critical processes and stages of a project. It outlines the detailed information of a project while developing different critical resources and processes critical to the performance and applications critical the developed of a project. The critical path indicates the shortest possible ways of completing a project no matter if the given projects’ stages are long and will ultimately end at the possible end of the project (Nafkha & Wiliński, 2016). This helps to address the processes and ways to achieve the needed functionality. It is also important to consider on how to effectively compare, develop and improve resources supporting the overall generation and considerations. It is the budget approach which develops the essentials of the project to meet agile expectations. It is a creative approach to meet and improve the resources such as planning and accessing operational performance.
  • 13. 6 Project Settings for Use Critical Path Methodology The applications of the critical path methodology is in the project appraisals and performance. It is also an effective methodology to ensure processes and projects are aligned to meet the expectations of a project (Kelley, & Walker, 1959). It can also be applied in effective budgeting to ensure project meets the ideal budgeting techniques. There is the need of project management techniques to help in meeting the expectations of a project. Managing software processes will require a constant performance and stakeholder performance, hence, it is ideal and important to effectively increase operational effectiveness and scheduling of a software to meet the needs of a project planning process. Taking into consideration, the project of developing an email upgrade system, critical path will help by taking into considerations the necessary steps and processes to a low breakdown processes by indicating the time framing of starting and finishing the project tasks, which is project scheduling. More importantly, it will be essential in mapping and fully finishing the necessary plans such as project evaluation techniques by scheduling the project processes, creating time frames, allocating resources and indicating the possible changes in managing project changes. 7 Ideal for the Project Critical Path Methodology The critical methodology is a process to ensure the project meets the necessary budget allocations. The processes are also essential for targeting the final outcome
  • 14. of any given project (Kerzner, 2013). It also favors the conditions for project initiation to the planning to define the project outcomes. Critical path will break the processes into a small tasks and these events will help in the development for project processes. Mapping the task will help in the cogeneration from resource allocations to different processes, these stages are transferred into network diagrams and it is essential to indicate the necessary steps in completing a project. For instance, in software development, there is the need of developing different project methodologies to effectively design a software product. The critical path will identify the most identical and clear ideas such as planning to meet the requirement specifications. The critical path method, in form of network diagram, it will identify the critical processes and ideally develop a structured plan for accomplishing the steps and the shortest path possible for completing the project (Nafkha & Wiliński, 2016). The critical path method’s main is to reduce bottlenecks in project and time framing for different processes in project management. It can be used for quality management and ensuring there is a focus on achieving focus and performance. 8 References Burke, R. (2013). Project management: planning and control techniques.
