Planning Considerations for the HR Project
Introduction
A centralized Human Resources model of delivering HR services will be efficient in functions like hiring and firing employees, training, pay and benefits and other functions that may arise. The HR function is changing from the traditional hiring and firing to a more advanced role that ensures business continuity. These roles also include being involved in the organization’s strategic planning as it aligns its talent hiring and firing strategy to the overall vision and direction of the organization. Centralized HR function is able to align its HR plan and strategies and align them with that of the vision and goals of the organization.
Project implementation of the HR project will ensure and cost efficient and consistent model of delivering HR services in the organization through the centralized model of delivering HR services. The project manager will have to define the statement of importance to the project team and define the scope of work for each team member in the project team. The project budget is important as it outlines the resources allocated including monetary allocation for the success of the project. The budget provides estimates approved towards achieving the goals of the project and team members need to understand all the budgetary estimates. The breakdown of the budget by the project manager to the team is important in order to maintain he costs within the approved estimates.

The statement of importance is an important document that outlines everything relevant in the project. It is the most important document in the project that outlines and defines the scope of the whole project including timelines and budgetary estimates. The current project will have the following elements in its statement of importance; the purpose which is implementation of a centralized HR model for the organization, the scope, the due dates, the due dates of the project, list of what is due and when it is due, the expected outcomes, all the resources that are needed for the project and the costs including the payments and their deadlines.
The relevance of each task in the statement of importance should be well explained to the team in order to keep everyone involved in the project on the same page. In order to effect a more centralized model of delivering Human Resources services, there are core project functions that must be undertaken to ensure success as well as ascertaining that all parties are motivated to working with the new model. Establishing a new project team requires orientation to the overall goals and objectives in a bid to ensure that every team member is well aware of both intermediate and final goals. This will act as a guidance to the team making processes and functions easier. On the other hand, successful implementation requires strategic planning which is about allocation of resources, planning, and scheduling in a manner that optimizes the available resources and performing within the budget and the timeline (Neluheni, Pretorius & Ukpere, 2014). While the scope seeks to identify the intended results, scheduling helps to assess the expected period that it will take to complete a given project. Therefore, when considering the scope, it is also good to see the relevance of duration or time, and that is where scheduling comes in handy. A project will incorporate the planning of other minor processes (Al Wahshi et al. 2013). In essence, the processes will then need a defined timeframe under which each should be accomplished. Therefore, when tabling them, it is good to understand the importance of a fixed period under which they should be performed. Scheduling is fundamental in the execution of the scope since it helps to guide the team members on the importance of being time conscious (Demilliere, 2014). Scheduling also helps to ensure that time wastage is minimal in carrying out the tasks and duties that are needed to ensure that the scope is met. In essence, while the scope breaks the tasks down to make them deliverables, scheduling helps to define how when the same will be delivered. Figuratively, the statement of purpose in a defined project would be to changing the channels of message delivery and communication in a given organization.
Project resourcing is essential, and in order to understand the dynamics under which it works, it is fundamental to consider other underlying drivers. Essentially these enhancements help to ensure that this part of the project is effective and yields the maximum results. It is therefore vital to consider the most effective behavioral skills. Recently, I have been appointed to manage the Human Resource and to manage a small team. The company's next project is revamping the compensation and benefits package and assists in designing a working plan for the human resource project. As a result of this, I have decided to establish a project charter to help revamp the package and create a communication plan to be used during the project implementation process. By so doing, I would initiate a scope definition of the project and come up with a breakdown structure which includes very ell numbered elements.
The Project Charter
To revamp the compensation and benefits package, one should first establish the strategy and objectives of compensation. He or she should also ensure that the description of the job is correct and up to date followed by developing the structure of payment and finally communicate the plan (Kloppenborg, Tesch & Manolis, 2014). Compensation and benefits are a vital element in an organization. This package helps in attracting potential employees to the organization as well as helping to retain current employees to assist with the company's productivity. Previously, this organization had failed in its pursuit to keep its employees and to offer competitive packages to the same workers.
Where competitive packages lack especially in an organization, there is possibly a lack of employees’ motivation towards performing their jobs. Lack of motivation in a firm is unhealthy since it hampers the company from achieving its desired goals due to low or no productivity at all (Kloppenborg et al., 2014). A compensation and benefits package include the combination of rewards which are given to the employees by a company to boost their trust and hope in the firm and to increase their job-related functions and quality of production within the organization. As the head of human resource management, construction of a project charter is of greatest importance in restructuring the previously ineffective compensation and benefits package in this company.
A project charter will serve as an informal contact tool linking the project sponsors to the project team which is involved in the implementation of the actual project. The project charter, in this case, will, therefore, make sure that the resulting plan is competitive and successful (Marnewick, 2018). It will define the types of requirements which should be accomplished and make a decision on how the project will be carried out right from the beginning to the end. Moreover, the charter will issue the organization with an understanding commitment as well as authorization. To strengthen the package which was previously used by this company, the table below is used as the most appropriate charter.

Project management process is a crucial tool in the development of any organization. This is because the projects that the organization deploys determine the business clientele. Critical analysis of the project management process is paramount to the successful execution of these elements within an organization. In the case of introducing the California Coast Credit Union into the San Diego State University, there are five crucial processes that should be adhered to in order to ensure the project’s success.
Initiation
During the initiation process, the eligibility of any relevant projects available is checked so as to validate the feasibility of the project plan. Once the project plans have been presented and the feasibility checked, the selection process is then initiated based on the requirements that each individual project would require. The project manager and the project management team then sign off on the requirements of the specific project selected.
In this case, the DBSI team was selected for the implementation of data signage procedures that are to be introduced within the student’s hub of the San Diego State University. It is during this stage that the appropriate team members of the project are identified as well as the project leaders. Selection of the project leaders is crucial to the next stage of the project management process, which is the planning process. Once I think of a hero, there are specific qualities that surround my imagination, being courageous, hardworking, truthful, strong, resilient, and generous have been the qualities I taught about. I also think a hero is someone protective, caring, and so concerned to change the life of the others and make them happy in their life. My Mother has all these qualities and recognizes her as my hero. Otherwise, she grew up on the support of two great parents who had a good life where she grew up and become a teacher in her life. Almost every individual has had some achievements in their life, and there must be a factor behind those achievements, especially someone who had a significant impact on their life. My mother appears to be my hero, who had a substantial impact on my life.
She is currently 54 years old. She was a teacher by profession, and she did her best as a teacher, where she influenced the lives of many students positively; up to now, some still call her and pass their appreciation to her. She was blessed and gave birth to seven kids; the first three are daughters, then a boy and a girl, and then the last two are boys. All of them have been significantly raised, everyone has something to do for a living, my big brother is a doctor, and three of my sisters are teachers, (like Mother like daughters). Our last born is an engineer interior designer and all of us are married with happy family. All these were not for granted but because of the love of God and the efforts, commitment, and great concern of our beloved parents, especially our Mother.
Even though she did not make a complete journey in her teaching profession, but up to where she stopped, she did a lot. They have been in a relationship with my father for thirty-six years of marriage, and when they had their third kid, my dad suggested that she stop teaching and remain at home to take care of the children. Throughout my entire life, my Mother had been supportive of me, a center of inspiration, and she has always been telling me to have self-confidence and believe in myself that I can make it. In case I face a problem, and I have to make a concrete decision towards it, my Mother always had behind me because I seek for her consultation before I move on to the next step.
It feels so great knowing that there is someone who will support you despite the intensity of the problem you face. It relieves much of the stress that comes along with making decisions. My Mother is beautiful inside and out, but most importantly, she has the biggest heart. She's a hard-working person and can play both parent roles. Everyon.

She is currently 54 years old. She was blessed and gave birth to seven kids; the first three are daughters, then a boy and a girl, and then the last two are boys. All of them have been significantly raised, everyone has something to do for a living, my big brother is a doctor, and three of my sisters are teachers, (like Mother like daughters). Our last born is an engineer interior designer and all of us are married with happy family. All these were not for granted but because of the love of God and the efforts, commitment, and great concern of our beloved parents, especially our Mother.
Even though she did not make a complete journey in her teaching profession, but up to where she stopped, she did a lot. They have been in a relationship with my father for thirty-six years of marriage, and when they had their third kid, my dad suggested that she stop teaching and remain at home to take care of the children. Throughout my entire life, my Mother had been supportive of me, a center of inspiration, and she has always been telling me to have self-confidence and believe in myself that I can make it. In case I face a problem, and I have to make a concrete decision towards it, my Mother always had behind me because I seek for her consultation before I move on to the next step.
It feels so great knowing that there is someone who will support you despite the intensity of the problem you face. It relieves much of the stress that comes along with making decisions. Goals of Evaluation
Evaluation refers to the act of checking various things thoroughly in order to characterize their worth or value, with reference to a certain context. In the field of education, the amount of success in a person’s aims can only be determined through evaluation. Therefore, there is a very close relationship between various aims and evaluation. The main goals of evaluation in schools are as discussed below. The first goal of evaluation in the field of education is to create an educational program ("Evaluation in Teaching and Learning Process | Education", 2020). Through evaluation, evaluators and the school management can build a given program of learning among the students. This is after gathering and checking various factors in order to find what program will fit and make a positive impact in the school. This involves consulting all the stakeholders of the program and developing strategies that will ensure the development of a good program.
The second goal of evaluation is assessing the effectiveness of the program. Evaluation ensures that the developed program is up to standards and serves the purpose that it was intended to. It helps the evaluators to check if the teaching strategies and techniques are being applied properly. The third goal of evaluation is to ensure improvement of the program. Through evaluation, evaluators can gauge the impact of the program on the school and learners. They can also identify various things that can make the program more effective. It acts as an in-built monitor in the program in order to review the progress of the program from time to time. It also gives feedback regarding the design and the implementation of a given program. Through such assessments, the school management can know where to work on, and what they need in order to enhance effective programs in teaching and learning.
For instance, in our case, evaluators can comfortably tell whether or not the program is helping girls become more superior in math. If not they can suggest better or other strategies that will make positive impact.

The introduction of rap music in the 1980s was welcomed with a lot positivity. However, this genre of music has on many occasions been considered as being controversial. Rap music has been accused of advancing messages and themes that deal with sexism, violence, gender stereotyping and materialism. Previous studies on rap music have indicated the content found in rap music promotes negative behavior. Moreover, research has shown that rap music videos generally differ in their portrayals of men and women in music videos. Males are often cast in positive light compared to females who are depicted in positions that portray them as a submissive gender to males.
The scope of this research narrows down on rap music produced from the years 2016 to 2018.The songs selected for this research are songs with lyrics that have misogynistic themes on women. Rap songs are observed in normalizing, objectifying, glorifying, victimizing and even exploiting women. Moreover, the rap songs are observed in defaming women through using innuendos and stereotypical language which portray misogynistic and sexist perspectives. The main area of focus for this paper is on the kind of nouns that are used in rap music to refer to the concept of woman and ways in which these nouns depict women. It is critical for this project to investigate the lyrics and its representations, as rap music has in the past years been under criticism for increasingly presenting a negative and controversial image of women in the society. A theological perspective on these issues is undertaken at understanding and criticizing the misogynistic and sexist culture of rap music generally.
Men in rap music have a higher probability of perpetuating violence on women. A review done on the common rap images found out that women were more likely to be dressed in images which portrayed them in provocative ways, especially in videos that had sexual content. Research has suggested that the perpetuation of gender in the media is a theme which has been occurring for eons of time[footnoteRef:1]. Specifically, music and gender and the portrayal of women in rap music has not been extensively studied previously. It is essential to consider the differences of gender in rap music and the portrayal of women in this genre of music. This territory included the land where west of Pennsylvania in United States and the northwest of the Ohio River. The area covered more than 260,000 square miles (Turner, & Bogue 2010).
The History of Ohio City that has led to construction of Museums.
The area remained as a hunting ground by the Iroquois after the dispute. Later, some American groups began to migrate to the area. Later there was a seven years war between the Europeans, British and France. They all wanted to colonize the area. Unfortunately, the British worn and after the win, they ordered French settlers to leave the area. It is evident that the war brought about the breakdown of ethnicities.
How museum focus has been of great importance to the citizens of the city
The area is known for its landscape, mountains, rivers and minerals. This makes Ohio City to be a great city suitable for great museums. It is evident that, Ohio City creates the best environment for a museum with the theme of History and Natural History to be built. For instance, Miami River is known to be a great river. Many people admire visiting the area just to see the river. This creates the best conditions to build a museum. People within the city can also visit the museum and get to enjoy the benefits of the museums.

In a bid to control the prevalence of diabetes among the African Americans, it is important to examine a number of attributes of culture that can empower a person towards changing a behavior. The factors may be positive, existential, and negative. Existential factors may be not harmful but need to be acknowledged. The importance of a family cannot be ignored especially because of the support they provide to diabetic patients. Family is therefore a positive cultural value which will assist in managing diabetes disease. This paper therefore seeks to address how each of the PEN-3 model’s three factors within the dimension of cultural empowerment applies to the African American group.
It is important to explore by identifying several cultural beliefs and practices that are positive, existential and negative. Positive factors are likely to lead to an improvement by reducing the prevalence of diabetes among the African Americans. Existential factors are existing cultural values and beliefs that may have no harmful health consequences. Cultural practices that may act as barriers in controlling the prevalence of diabetes among the African Americans are the negative factors. Example of these negative practices includes poor nutrition leading to obesity.
Positive Factors
The positive factors which will influence management and control of diabetes among the African Americans include spirituality and family. For example, talking about a family affair with diabetes will make a great impact in controlling diabetes among the African Americans. This is because it will create awareness of how to handle and deal with diabetes. Spirituality will have a positive impact in controlling the prevalence of diabetes among the African Americans. African Americans who have spiritual faith are likely to engage in activities which will reduce the prevalence of the disease.
Existential Factors
Existential factors include faith healing. A belief in faith healing is a factor which is likely to reduction in prevalence of diabetes among the African Americans. Individuals who are religious are likely to visit religious leaders to seek healing and intervention. Many individuals confess that they got healed after being prayed for by the Pastors and other religious leaders. This is attributed to believing in faith healing.
Negative Factors

In order to ensure that the “gender equity for girls in math” education program which applies to master’s level students is efficient in fulfilling the outlaid goals, the goal based approach of evaluation should be applied in evaluating the effectiveness of the program. The major objective of this education program is to empower the girl child and to ensure that there are increase female students taking courses in mathematics at higher education levels (Markovits & Forgasz, 2017). Therefore, the evaluators will have a role of determining the broader impacts of this approach as well as investigate what greater good is served as a result of this program. Introduction
The Munchausen Syndrome Article explains about the Munchausen Syndrome, which is a rare fictitious disorder which involves the frequent hospitalization together with an intentional display of signs of sickness and pathological lying. Moral education is meant to promote good conduct among school-going children, not just within their immediate social relationships, but also in their dealings with their fellow citizens. This initiative is premised on the need for students to possess clear ideals and judgments on what action are right and what are wrong, including the determination of students’ conduct through a constant reference to those ideals. Moral education will be offered as a social goal to enlighten students on a system of rules and norms that regulate the social interactions of people on concepts of welfare, such as harm, trust, justice, and rights. For some students, issues related to values, personal feelings, and societal norms are constructs for discussions and are as such viewed as being influenced by the manner in which morality taught or experienced in schools, churches, and social institution settings. Grouping Strategy for Ms. Jensen
The arrangement of the student in the class should be based on their proficiency level while factoring the different capabilities of each student. The teacher should ensure that the both fast learners and slow learners are catered in terms of understanding how to handle their comprehension capabilities. The class has three categories of student, basic, intermediate and proficient.
Cooperative Learning
Cooperative grouping is based on the differences among the children in terms of their learning abilities. Li & Lam (2013) states that cooperative grouping is best suited for situations where students have learning abilities which are differing. The grouping technique is implemented following the analysis of the heterogeneous factors such that students should be grouped depending gender, economic background, culture, race and ethnicities. The ranking of students should follow the descending order starting with the highest to the lowest. To make a ranking legend, the teacher should use L for low achiever, M for medium achievers and H for highest achievers. The grouping should include at least one student from each category for the purposes of achieving diversity. The grouping system should however be done without involving the students as such could encourage discrimination. The issues of gender should be defined effectively to avoid the majority of gender in any of the group.
Rationale for Placement
The strategy is important and useful for the given case because students have different abilities and proficiency. The grouping strategy also promotes involvement of all students since the group is designed in manner which facilitates individual contribution. Tsay & Brady (2012) states that the cooperative grouping is important since it allows for the development of critical thinking skills and communication skills.
Conclusion
Ms. Jensen’s class has students with different abilities and varying English proficiency. Cooperative grouping is effective for 7th grade children since it allow them to exchange information amongst themselves while encouraging collaborative learning. Students are more likely to improve their self-esteem and moralization to study English tasks since group composition allows individual contribution and peer discussions.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. Planning Considerations for the HR Project
Introduction
A centralized Human Resources model of delivering HR
services will be efficient in functions like hiring and firing
employees, training, pay and benefits and other functions that
may arise. The HR function is changing from the traditional
hiring and firing to a more advanced role that ensures business
continuity. These roles also include being involved in the
organization’s strategic planning as it aligns its talent hiring
and firing strategy to the overall vision and direction of the
organization. Centralized HR function is able to align its HR
plan and strategies and align them with that of the vision and
goals of the organization.
Project implementation of the HR project will ensure and cost
efficient and consistent model of delivering HR services in the
organization through the centralized model of delivering HR
services. The project manager will have to define the statement
of importance to the project team and define the scope of work
for each team member in the project team. The project budget is
important as it outlines the resources allocated including
monetary allocation for the success of the project. The budget
provides estimates approved towards achieving the goals of the
project and team members need to understand all the budgetary
estimates. The breakdown of the budget by the project manager
to the team is important in order to maintain he costs within the
approved estimates.
2. Body
Statement of Importance
The statement of importance is an important document that
outlines everything relevant in the project. It is the most
important document in the project that outlines and defines the
scope of the whole project including timelines and budgetary
estimates. The current project will have the following elements
in its statement of importance; the purpose which is
implementation of a centralized HR model for the organization,
the scope, the due dates, the due dates of the project, list of
what is due and when it is due, the expected outcomes, all the
resources that are needed for the project and the costs including
the payments and their deadlines.
The relevance of each task in the statement of importance
should be well explained to the team in order to keep everyone
involved in the project on the same page. The document is
relevant shows all the tasks which the project manager should
use in allocating tasks and the milestones that are used to see if
the project is going according to plan. The scope shows what is
to be done in the project including the process that will be used
in completion of the work. It also shows what will be used to
complete the tasks including software and any equipment. The
schedule in the document is a list of when deliverables should
be done including vendors that will be used in completing the
project. The phases in the project including development,
testing and implementation are well stated including their
timelines.
Behavioral Skills
During the project there are a set of behavioral skills and
technical skills that are considered relevant. These behavioral
skills and technical skills are related with the success of the
project especially when the project manager portrays some that
may be relevant with the project. The current project requires
behavioral skills like leadership skills, accountability, decision
3. making and problem solving skills. The project requires a leader
who is able to make the tough decisions that are required and be
able to delegate duties. The leader should able to inspire the
team into following the vision of the project. A project needs
accountability in order for the relevant resources to be provided
when needed for the success of the project. The decisions made
during the project process should be relevant for the success of
the project. The decisions made during the project process
affect all the relevant stakeholders and the project team.
Problem solving skills require one to be a good communicator,
team builder, dependable and creative which are some of the
relevant traits required for the current project.
Project Budget
The project budget is an estimate of all the relevant costs
estimates of activities towards the success of the project. The
project manager should be able to explain to the management
and project team the relevant costs that are associated with the
project. An analogous method of estimating will be used in
determining the relevant costs due to limited information on the
upcoming project. This requires similar projects to be used in
estimating the relevant costs and updating the old budget for
additional costs. The costs are aggregated through summing the
cost of individual work package in order to control the financial
account up to the project level. The cost control accounts are
used to calculate the cost aggregation
The project cash flow shows the net cash flow of the current
project. It is derived from the sources of cash for the project
less the uses of the cash. The cash flow is able to show the cash
from operating activities and keep track of actual cash at hand.
All the activities in the project that will require actual cash will
be reflected in the cash flow including separate activities.
Project Risks
Project risks are unplanned events that will occur and have a
negative effect on the project. The current project manager will
able to determine project risks in the current project as;
4. budgetary risk, resource risk and resistance to change. The
project budget is based on estimates which involve certain
uncertainties and chances of cost overrun may occur. This
creates budgetary risk due to the overrun costs. The
management may not provide the relevant requirements for the
success of the project like monetary resources and skill needed
for the success of the project leading to resource risk. The
current staff and management may be resistant to the
organization implementing a central HR model. This affects the
activities of the project team in delivering a successful project.
Conclusion
The statement of importance is the most important document in
the project process as it will outline everything relevant to the
project. The document will outline the scope of the project
including financial estimates for the various vendors and show
the timelines. The project manager should be able to present the
management with a comprehensive budget and explain the
various cost estimates. The project manager should also be able
to determine the risks to his project and offer solutions.

Strategic planning for this project will require the team to
create a long term vision for the organization to have a
centralized model of delivering HR services. The five steps of
strategic planning for the current project include; project
charter, identify and meet stakeholders, identify risks,
performing qualitative risk analysis and planning risk response.
Project charter is the first step that defines the roles and the
duties of the project team. It is also used to highlight the vision
and goals of the project and how the team intends to achieve the
goals. The second step involves identifying and meeting the
stakeholders and these are the people who have an interest in
the project including the sponsors, project team members,
employees, customers and project managers. The current
stakeholders for the project include project team members,
project manager, the leadership of the organization and
employees. Identification of risks is the third step where project
manager will try and identify possible project risks and
document sources of the risks, the category of the risk and
6. responses. Risks may include lack of support from the
management, stakeholders having a negative attitude towards
the project and changes in management. The fourth step will
require the project team to perform qualitative risk analysis
which is the procedure of ranking risks for additional analysis
or assessing their impact on the project. Planning risk response
involves initiating a plan that will mitigate the risks to the
project objective. This involves identifying the ranked risks and
allocating resources and activities to mitigate the risks.
A project vision is used to give the project team a reason for
contributing towards the project. It is used to explain the aim of
the project, unite the team members, erase confusion and act as
an inspiration to the team. A vision and vision statement are
isolated but linked concepts. The vision statement is more of a
linguistic presentation of the vision. The vision statement for
this project is “To establish a centralized model of delivering
HR services that will improve service delivery.” The mission
statement for the project should be “To implement a cost
effective centralized model of delivering HR services that will
be able to improve employer- employee relations and best
delivery of HR services.”
The project charter is a declaration of scope, objectives and the
people who will be partaking the project. The project charter
defines the roles and the duties of the project team and also
outlines the project goals and objectives. The role of the project
manager is also defined and the various stakeholders involved
are identified. The charter document will be used as a reference
document throughout the project and should summarize points
like; the goals and objectives of the project, the roles of each
stakeholder in the project and it also acts as a contract between
the project sponsor, the project team and key stakeholders. The
project charter document is used a selling point to the various
stakeholders, it is a reference point throughout the entire period
of the project and stakeholders are able to see the return on
their investment.
A statement of emphasis for the current project should cover the
7. costs and deadlines, the process for the project, resources
needed which will include any facilities that will be used during
the project, assignment of tasks and the purpose of the project
which is to evaluate a centralized model of delivering HR
services.

Types of Project Manager Power
Legitimate power
Legitimate power stems from the conviction that an individual
has an official right to make mandates. For example, a CFO has
lawful authority over an intern since they are at higher levels
(Anantatmula, 2010).
10. Reward power
The power to repayment comes from the ability to repay
someone. Besides, this can happen, for instance, if an individual
has the necessary resources by a project team. Therefore
(Anantatmula, 2010), in the past, a person usually had no
questions to ask about money, but when "thank you" is said by
the project team, the person would answer with a word, "no
problem."
Expert power
Expert power gets based on the supreme competence or
expertise of an individual in a particular field of knowledge.
Therefore (Anantatmula, 2010), should a person know about the
areas in which he or she is an expert? If a person can't
recognize this, he or she should think about what people are
most often asking for assistance. Perhaps it can aid in drafting a
deal or carrying out a risk assessment.
Referent power
Referent power is concerned with addressing the likability
factor of an individual. For instance, if an individual thinks it's
a waste of time to go out with his colleagues for lunch and
attend company-sponsored events, he should reflect. Real power
can result in the relationships and links that an individual builds
with employees (Anantatmula, 2010).
Coercive power
Coercive power comes from the belief that you can punish
others for complying with them. Usually, this gets connected
with legitimate authority. A boss has, for example, the right to
reprove an employee for not fulfilling an application.
11. Outcomes resulting from Managing Projects and how to resolve
them
Lack of Visibility of all Projects
Visibility is a common reason why projects fail. The right level
of information needs to get accessed in time for all the three
phases of the project team (Anantatmula, 2010), the
management, the project managers, and the team members. The
best options are methods, procedures, and improvements based
on people. The easiest way to exchange project plans is by
having project files placed in a networking folder, and folder
permissions get determined by the Windows folder and group
access permissions.
Unclear Project Objectives
More than they ever would expect, most companies have more
opportunities and programs. Many firms undertake more efforts
than they should likely, leading to working and often
unsatisfied participants of their team. The management's task is
to define the long-term goals and approaches to accomplish
specific priorities of the company. When these objectives get
established, project initiatives can get measured against these
objectives.
No Visibility into Resource Workload
Besides, resources are overwhelmed with the lack of urgency
for the project. Also, this becomes a circular problem. Because
managers have no visibility on all the projects and tasks the
team carries out (Anantatmula, 2010), they often believe that
the organization's workload can do more than it is capable of.
For example, if a worker has an eight-hour working day, then no
more than six hours should be allotted for the job. It helps the
employee to work for two hours on his or her legal issues.
12. Gaps in Communication
When a project is fully developed (Kerzner, 2017),
communication is a common problem. There is no clear view of
the project context when a new resource joins the project. The
connection should get shown at a central location, at the very
least. The organization network appears to be the lowest
common denominator.
Increased challenges a Project Manager may face when leading
virtual or global project teams
Communication
In any workplace, communication is a key (Kerzner, 2017),
especially where most interactions happen via email, chat, or
phone calls. The hiring process is an excellent way to learn how
well people interact. Communication skills of project manager's
employees' are a significant factor in virtual teams ' progress.
Trust
In any relationship, belief is a crucial issue. When workers
believe in their executives (Kerzner, 2017), they naturally
collaborate and engage in a shared vision. A project manager
should, in a few sentences, document why the company does
what it does. Ideally, the greater good of humanity should be
stipulated y this, but connected somehow with business.
Productivity
When workers work outside of a traditional office (Kerzner,
2017), low productivity becomes an obvious risk. Several team
members may not use their time wisely in an atmosphere
without daily monitoring. The best way to ensure that everyone
does their job without intruding in privacy is to set precise
desires for every function and to check for advancement

Plan for Communication Management during the Project
The preparation of the communications includes defining
partners' needs for information and communication.
Communication planning involves identifying which technique
and how often to communicate to whom (Kerzner, 2017), whom,
and when. Therefore, this strategy is very constructive, as there
is no exception to correspondence. The project manager must
consider the climate of the organization, values, and
expectations to do it correctly. The procedures and strategies of
the organization for functioning and collaborating (Kerzner,
2017), historical records of past projects, lessons learned, and
information stored also have to get taken into account.
