] Description:
The English class at this level will help students learn vocabulary and grammar in
thematic contexts using four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. These
elements vary according to the age and cognitive abilities of the learners.
] Justification:
Language policy of Puerto Rico requires the teaching of English as a second
language. This teaching must correspond to the demands of the island and with the
constant changes in the fields of knowledge and technology.
] Objectives:
-With an interactive class, the student will be involved in an atmosphere of
dynamic language using technology and other innovating techniques.
-Through this class, the student will learn essential vocabulary, reading, and writing
skills that will help in the acquisition and application of English as a second
language.
-Create a relevant sense on the student, in this way the interest of learning will
grow.
2. ] Evaluation:
The evaluation will be based on the following criteria:
Pre-kinder: A minimum of 5 evaluations per semester
Kindergarten: A minimum of 6 evaluations per semester
Important note: If the student is absent the day of the evaluation, it will be
given the next day he/she returns to the classroom.

1 red notebook (daily class)
Crayons or color pencils
Scissors and glue

] It is important to always remember:
-Study every day; even if there is no homework.
