Q5- how did you attract/address your audience?
We used many methods to get the perfect sort of film for our
target audience (young adults).
To start with using poll junkie we asked the public questions on
what sort of thing they would like to see in a vampire movie. This
poll also included how old they were so we knew what age range
was telling us what.
After this we pitched our idea to the class (all of which were in the
target audiences age range) they gave feedback that we could use
and I then did a Q&A with them.
Then we branched out and hit social media sites pitching our ideas
to teens and getting feedback so we could produce the sort of
movie they would like to see.
After filming we create a quick edit that we could show. This was a
way of showing the public our pitch brought to life and gave them
the chance to say what they liked and what they thought we could
improve or change. In doing all this and getting the mass of
feedback we did we could create a film that really linked with our
target audience.
