You can check your grades by reviewing your Grades tab on the left hand side of the

-Click the Grades button on the left of the screen
-Select User Report from the Drop down menu.
-All Work Due for this Grading Period will be in the Quarter 2 section. (Q2)
-Pay special attention to scores with a -- or a 0. This means you have not
completed the assignment and you should do so ASAP.
-Incomplete work and 0s hurt your grade :(

6. Vivir = to live
Take off the -ir at the end and add:
Yo -o vivo = I live
Tú -es vives = You live
El/ella/usted -e vive = He/she
lives
nosotros -imos vivimos = we live
vosotros -ís vivís = Y'all live
ellos/ellas/ustedes -en viven = They live

10. Estar = to be
yo estoy
Tú estás
Èl/ella/usted está
Nosotros estamos
vocotros estáis
Ellos/ellas están
Remember to use the correct
accent mark.
Remember to use estar to say
where things are located.
Examples:
Mi casa está en las montañas.
El sofá no está en la cocina.
La computadora está en mi
escritorio.
All of these sentences are
describing where something is,
or where it is located. Use
estar for locations.
11. Estar = to be
La computadora está en la
habitación.
La cama está en el cuarto.
La silla está en el cuarto.
El escritorio está en la
habitación.
La papelera está en el cuarto.
12. Hay = there is or there are
Hay una computadora en la
habitación.
Hay una cama en el cuarto.
Hay una silla en el cuarto.
Hay un escritorio en la
habitación.
Hay una papelera en el cuarto.
13. Ser = to be
Yo soy = I am
Tú eres = You are
El/ella es = He/she is
Nosotros somos = We are
Vosotros soís = Y'all are
Ellos/ellas son = They are
A Person’s Nationality
Mi padre es colombiano.
**Notice how religions and
Nationalities are NOT capitalized in Spanish.
Physical Descriptions
La rosa es rosada.
El libro es rojo.
Names
Soy Raúl. - I am Raúl.
Son Adela y Amalia. - They are
Adela and Amalia.
14. Los Colores
Colores must agree with the
noun (thing) they describe.
La rosa es rosada.
El libro es rojo.
El diccionario es amarillo.
La carpeta es blanca.
Los libros son rojos.
15. Los colores
El cuarto es rosado.
La habitación es rosada.
La silla es blanca.
La cama es blanca.
El estante de libros es
blanco.
