What about all those letters with lines on them
and upside symbols?
In some Spanish words, there is an accent marks over a vowel. They help
us know how to pronounce the word. They are an important part of the
language so make sure you add them when needed. Pay attention to which
words have an accent mark or ñ when adding them to your notes.
Also, when you put a question mark or exclamation point at the end of a
sentence, you need to put the mark upside down at the beginning…
¿Cómo estás? How are you?
Estoy así así. (I’m okay.)
¿Dónde vives? Where do you live?
Vivo en Raleigh. (I live in Raleigh?)
¿De dónde eres? Where are you from?
Soy de Canada. (I’m from Canada.)
