Lesson Plan
Objetivo General
Expresar futuras intenciones teniendo en cuenta necesidades en la escuela, en su barrio y en su
vida personal usando el primer condicional en inglés.
Objetivo especifico:
Demostrar sus conocimientos utilizando el primer condicional en predicciones y futuras
intensiones en forma oral y escrita.
Actividades claves: escucha, habla, escritura
Individuales y grupales
Estándar:
 Sigo instrucciones dadas en clase para realizar actividades académicas
 Interactúo con mi compañero y profesor sobre temas específicos que conozco
Competencias
 Socio-lingüística
 Pragmática
Indicadores de desempeño:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to understand and practice the use of the first
conditional and the future simple through games group activities and oral presentations.
Stages Interaction Material-Timing
Warm up
Presentation
(T-S) The teacher greets
the class, made prayer.
Teacher and students will play
a game of Bingo using first
conditional sentences.
(T-S) The teacher
presents the topic of lesson
(first Conditional) through
poster presentation giving
several examples using
drawings. Students will read
some examples aloud,
applying the grammar rules
Photocopies cards,
pencils/pen
10 minutes
Posters, board, markers,
drawings
10 minutes
used in the previous exercise.
Teacher will explain “first
conditional” concept trough
sentences and examples using
first conditional.
Practice (S-S) Teacher will show
Simpson mayor´s posters and
she will explain about the
election day.
Teacher will give instruction
that students have to follow.
Example
If you vote for me, I will…
Students work in groups and
write proposal to solve
necessities in the school. Each
group will have a person who
shows the proposals to the
rest. Then they have the
opportunity to vote for the
student who explains the best
proposal for them. The
school´s Mayor will be the one
who obtains the highest
amount of votes.
Posters, election cards, box
election, paper, markers,
colors

Production (S-T) Students will
work using cophies, they have
to write some proposals
related to different situation
that they live in their
neighborhood, taking into
account some pictures given in
a worksheet. Teacher will
collect written activities.

Homework (S-T) student will write
sentences using the first
conditional if they win the
lottery.

  • 1. Lesson Plan Objetivo General Expresar futuras intenciones teniendo en cuenta necesidades en la escuela, en su barrio y en su vida personal usando el primer condicional en inglés. Objetivo especifico: Demostrar sus conocimientos utilizando el primer condicional en predicciones y futuras intensiones en forma oral y escrita. Actividades claves: escucha, habla, escritura Individuales y grupales Estándar:  Sigo instrucciones dadas en clase para realizar actividades académicas  Interactúo con mi compañero y profesor sobre temas específicos que conozco Competencias  Socio-lingüística  Pragmática Indicadores de desempeño: At the end of the lesson the students will be able to understand and practice the use of the first conditional and the future simple through games group activities and oral presentations. Stages Interaction Material-Timing Warm up Presentation (T-S) The teacher greets the class, made prayer. Teacher and students will play a game of Bingo using first conditional sentences. (T-S) The teacher presents the topic of lesson (first Conditional) through poster presentation giving several examples using drawings. Students will read some examples aloud, applying the grammar rules Photocopies cards, pencils/pen 10 minutes Posters, board, markers, drawings 10 minutes

Practice (S-S) Teacher will show Simpson mayor´s posters and she will explain about the election day. Teacher will give instruction that students have to follow. Example If you vote for me, I will… Students work in groups and write proposal to solve necessities in the school. Each group will have a person who shows the proposals to the rest. Then they have the opportunity to vote for the student who explains the best proposal for them. The school´s Mayor will be the one who obtains the highest amount of votes. Posters, election cards, box election, paper, markers, colors 20 minutes Production (S-T) Students will work using cophies, they have to write some proposals related to different situation that they live in their neighborhood, taking into account some pictures given in a worksheet. Teacher will collect written activities. Cophies, pencil/pen 10 minutes Homework (S-T) student will write sentences using the first conditional if they win the lottery.
