TAG Offshore’s client list includes oil and gas majors, construction companies and ports, such as Oil and
Natural Gas Corporation of India (ONGC), PEMEX, Gujurat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC),
British Gas (BG), Global Industries, Reliance, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Cochin Port Trust,
Goa Port Trust, Kandla Port Trust, Essar Project, Norscot Drilling, Aban Offshore, Swiber, Punj Llyod,

Responsible for certifications, Dry dock planning & steel renovation calculation works. Interact with
designers, Flag State, Classification societies & MMD.
Current Project
 Accommodation modification from 18 to 28 as per charter requirement. Installation of additional
davit & rescue boat.
 Coordinate with FLAG STATE/Class and Yard for new project monitoring for construction of 70
meter PSV
 Actively coordinating for plans & design with Chinese Shipyard for the New Building
construction of a 65 meter AHTS as per Indian M.S Act.
Responsibilities
• Verifying the technical issues in respect of the new building orders as per Charterers’
requirements. Coordinate with business development department.
• Keeping track with the Surveys and dry dockings for the fleet. Arrange for Surveyors’
attendance as whenever required to assist the superintendents
• Assisting superintendents to ensure compliance of vessels as per rule requirement of Class &
Flag state
• Keeping track with the requirements of various plans and arrange for their approvals from class.
• Handling vessel dry docking, preparation of estimation sheet with various dry dock. Intimate to
class & flag state for required surveys.
• Searching new vendors for ship modifications & coordinate with purchase department for cost
negotiation.
• Attending & preparing of Third Party Inspections for hiring of vessels. Pre purchasing
inspection as per charter requirement.

• Preparing basic drawing (Mid Ship, Profile & Plan, Aft Ship, Fore Ship, Welding Scheduled,
Equipment No or Anchor, Anchor chain calculation).
• Minor Calculation for scantling, Steel weight calculation, Material requirements of project etc.
• Administration for CATIA (for New Project)
• Major Modelling of ship using CATIA software.
• Detail Engineering work (Checking of production drawings, Bill of material, Production
information, Assembly sequence etc.)
• Taken a approval from classification society & owners
• Interviewing the technical persons if required.
• Handling a complete project team like Draughtsman, Engineer for Hull & Structure.
• Structural fabrication of ship’s Hull and Super structure i.e. monitoring pre-Fabrication, sub
assembly, Assembly and Erection of units.
• Accompanying the Class Surveyors while Dry survey, A.P.T., Keel Sighting, Draft Marks
checking.

group. In business of making & supplying of Sugar plant, cement plant on “Turn-Key” basis.
