· Established on boarding programs for members and employees that included web based
software communication, class acclimation programs and incentive programs.
· Acting General Manager and Project Manager for the design and construction of a $9M
expansion of the Eden Prairie Community Center in 2008. Worked closely with the
General Contractor during an open facility remodel and expansion project to ensure the
execution of all aspects of remodel/expansion strategy.
· Hired and developed a larger team to operate the expanded facilities including new café,
child “PlayCare” area, third indoor skating rink, gymnasium and meeting room space.
· Lead team in a project to create standard operating procedures for the expanded offerings.
· Launched a new marketing plan, membership fee schedule, and billing & insurance
reimbursement program. Coordinated, presented and obtained all necessary approvals
from the Eden Prairie City Council.
· Launched pre sale and grand opening membership campaign that surpassed goal by 450
members in the first 5 months. Increased total membership to 2300 members and
exceeded initial pro forma revenues and profits by more than 10% in the first year.
