General Manager/Area Manager
Oversee daily operations through 135 employees across accounting,business development, sales,
operations, spa and programming. Manage a $4 million dollar book of business,for a full-amenity Health
and Wellness Center in Beaumont TX and a Community Center in Crosby MN. Control development of
the annual budget, organizational communications, membership development, retention, customer
service, staffing, and operational performance in addition to performance measurement and reporting.
Operational Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals.
Coordinate activities of departments such as operating, planning, sales, marketing and
maintenance to effect operational efficiency and economy.
Serve as primary contact to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Hallett Community Center and Health Fitness
Corporation.
Direct the generation of the monthly metric and management reports for both sites.
Analyze and prepare center budgets and allocate operating budget to departments.

Key Accomplishments:
Renewed contract with client from a 3 year extension to a 5 year extension.
Upgraded the fitness floor with a new multi-purpose lease with state-of-the-art equipment and
constantly update the center with in line item expenses without the use of Capital.
Was able to acquire MY Zone for our members and the facility.
Took over Spa services from the hospital and was able to redesign an existing area to accommodate
6 treatment rooms. Acquired all spa staff and spa equipment and intergraded the service line into
wellness center budget.
Grew staffing model from 31 FTE’s to 37 FTE’s which generated more revenue for Health Fitness.
Exceeded 5 year budget expectations of 3 million dollars by 300K for the hospital and achieved
yearly bonus for Health Fitness of 25K for the past 3 years.
Work directly with Regional Vice President as Area Manager for our Fitness Center book of
business.
Took Program Revenue from 137K a year to over 500K a year and continues to grow.
Grew membership by over 1000 members in the past 5 years and cut attrition by 7%.
Received the Health Fitness Presidents Award for 2015.

THE MOTIVA FITNESS CENTERS, Richardson, TX
Contract Manager
Oversee daily operations through 9 employees across business development, member sales, operations and
fitness departments, for four sites for Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX, OK, NM and IL (HCSC). Control
Development of P&L,programs and membership. Opened facility in August of 2010 and was instrumental
in the design phase and Grand Opening for all three centers. Work directly with client on a day to day
operational basis.
Operations Highlights:
Have exceeded all budgeted membership growth expectations.
Presented a business plan to increase profit margins and future membership growth.
Realized growth and exceeded profit margins from the date of startup.
Presented a 2011 Health Fitness marketing plan to support Motiva and BCBS so we seem as one

grade Character Development class which included the building blocks for a
well-balanced life style. Taught 6th
grade P.E. and Pre-K P.E on two different campuses and followed all
State TEKS guidelines. Coaching responsibilities were as follows; Varsity and Jr. High Football, Varsity
and Freshmen Basketball and Varsity and Jr. High Track.

Key figure in getting new recording software for the Athletic Department which is called DSV.
Learned and taught new software to coaching staff and was responsible for all video cut-ups and
highlights.
Led the freshmen basketballteam to a 20 and 4 record and to a three way tie for Co-District

club. Control development of the annual budget, organizational communications, membership
development and retention, customer service, staffing, and operational performance in addition to
performance measurement and reporting.
Operations Highlights:
Researched current contracted service practices and demonstrated inefficiencies, expenses, and
lack of controls to senior management.
Presented a plan to increase profit margins and future growth despite a potential loss of clients at
the onset.
Realized growth in profit margins from 10-15% to 35-45%; gained better control of programs by
permanently hiring the contractors as employees.
Exceeded 2008 budget expectations after the contractor initiative was put in place.

Program Manager
Designed and implemented challenging youth sports and activities across the Hill Country region.
